The Great Tea-Quest

Elise gaze at the map where [member="Tiland Kortun"] pointed to, the location being agreeable to her, "I'll tag along with you for a while, our paths may change in time but for the moment I do not mind traveling with you for the time being". "I did mean to travel into the more deeper parts of the jungle, explore the ruins that are much older and may be yet to explore, perhaps we could set up a join base camp for us to collaborate around". On a FO world one could never be to careful, the Ren were not ones to follow rule, they were quite known for kidnapping force sensitivities and converting them to their fanatic cause.

Before they were able to set a defined course both the younger members of the expedition ran off in a random direction, spurred on by their youthful lack of knowledge, "... why are children so rash"? Giving a small sigh she called out, "YOU GUYS ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY, TURN RIGHT", hopefully they wouldn't run into anything either, of fall down a cliff face, last thing she needed was to put her medical doctorate to actual use.

Tiland nodded as the others spoke, but nearly gave a start in surprise as they darted forward, past the edge of the city. But then, he couldn't help but laugh at the sudden outburst. He appreciated that. It was something that he saw only rarely and it was rejuvenating to see such excitement.

He shrugged at Elise's question. "It is the nature of youth to seek the moment, for they have yet to learn the long-time of the trees and the sea." His voice mused quietly as he spoke. "Setting up a base-camp seems like a wise decision. I will seek through all of these settings until I find the herb that I seek."

His eyes darted across the scene behind them, trying to detect who might have been following them, but as far as he could tell, nobody was thinking about them. At least, not on the surface, and he was not concerned enough to do a deep mind-read of every individual in the area.

So, with that, he tightened the straps on his backpack, hoisting it higher on his back, and set out into the wild.

Time would pass as they walked, undoubtedly talking and chattering among themselves, mostly as friends on an excursion. Several hour later, they would arrive at the first destination, on the edge of the more ruinous sections of Ithorian settlements and the modernized colonies.

Tiland laid his pack down against a log and stretched, surveying the site. It was a clearing in the forest where he remembered there once having been a small diner. The food had been terrible, but the owner had been a good friend during Tiland's stay with the settlement. It was too late to search for the herb now, but it would be a good place to begin their search in the morning.

 

[Noatyr Moldmerr]

Already setting his cloak down to use as a sleeping bag, Noatyr took a moment to survey their surroundings. From the looks of the spot they had wound up in, it had once housed a building or some other structure. That or it was a very conveniently shaped clearing. Either way, if the others wanted anything else gathered, he was happy to help out.

Moving over to the older man, [member="Tiland Kortun"], who seemed to be in a state of remembrance, he tapped his shoulder, taking a step back. ''So, I know we're looking for tea, specifically tea leaves, but I do have to ask, what exactly do these leaves look like? I know my way around tea, but I've never had to gather the leaves before.''

His music player was still humming it's slightly dark and moody tone, but it was almost soothing to have another sound other then the trees and distant animals around them. Things had always seemed a little less imposing when music was involved.
