Joshua Haimes

Joshua couldn't agree more with his sister. It was definitely going to be a race and that's why he moved towards the cargo hold at a steady jog. The freighter's aft gun continued to fire back as the ships shields slowly drained but it seemed the freighter's luck ran out. A lucky blow managed to pass through the shields and hit the lightly armoured fuel link to the engines. With their hyperdrive disabled and the engines barely functioning, the metal hull was looking more like a casket rather than a starship.
The twins were only a few meters away from the cargo hold when already the assailants managed to board. The sound of blaster fire could be heard from where he was standing, the faint tunes from his headphones strapped around his neck were drowned out completely as the ship and it screw were being blown to pieces.
With an entire conflict going on, Joshua couldn't help but become immediately frustrated with the situation... "They shouldn't underestimate us." Strapping the rifle around his shoulder he took out a few sonic grenades, the weapons could disorient just about any organic in the galaxy and if you're close enough to the initial explosion it could even rupture your internal organs, break your eardrums, and pop the blood vessels in the brain. Rushing up to the doorway he hit the switch and the sliding door began to open. The sound of fighting exploded into an orchestra of gunshots, screams, and snapping bones.
There was no hesitation in his actions, priming the grenade he tossed the two of the devices into the room -- one right after the other. Those who were paying attention could probably dive out of the way and avoid the nastier affects of the sonic blast and those who weren't would regret it. Turning away from the doorway, the devices exploded with a brief flash and sent a sonic wave which bounced off the walls. He almost felt bad for the few of the men on their side who were still trapped in that room.
