The Gathering [New Order/Ask]

He still didn't agree, but they were Sith. He would concede for now, and to voice that, he nodded his head and said, "as you wish." And that was that.

Then there was someone that he had hoped was dead, or at least wouldn't show up. He didn't know his name, he didn't care to know his name, but the fact that he knew Aeon's name spoke wonders. After all, he had done little for the New Order once he had been Knighted by Darth Ferus.

He barely spared more than a glance to [member="Melakoth Tyrin "]before he said, "shut up maggot." And then turned around from him again."

Laughter directed towards [member='Melakoth Tyrin']'s comment was able to be stifled by the young boy as he entered the large observational deck, assumingly being directed by the escort [member="Dex Drakkel"]. The boy who wore his Sith Academy uniform beneath his dark cloak would offer the soldier a respectful nod, truly appreciating those of his stature. Climbing up the stairs, his head would begin to turn slowly beneath the black cloth he wore, aiming to look at the individuals around that he recognized. [member="Aeon Caedus"] was one of them, however besides the Knight there were little others he knew. Seeing as such was more than true, the young pure blood would remain silent as the meeting continued, listening intently to the changes that were going to be underway soon enough.

The sudden disappearance of Vulcanus and his previous Master Ferus had taken Ballen-Ist by surprise. Were they traitors? Such things would remain unknown apparently, for their locations were completely hidden from the New Order.

"Know your place, whelp. Vulcanus may have appointed you to Chancellor in his absence, but do not presume that your new position gives you the authority to command me." He gestured at Ayra with the index finger of his right hand, almost in what could be a scolding gesture. He did not come here to be subject to the delusions of an upstart, but to further the goals of the Empire in Vulcanus' absent. Kaine was one of the big three leading the New Order, of which he was the Minister of the Order, and had complete authority on the Imperial Army and Imperial Intelligence whereas the Chancellor had complete authority on the Imperial navy and the diplomatic aspects of the Empire, and the Emperor controlled the Stormtrooper legions and the Sith Order. He would also not let her unravel the work himself and Vulcanus had done to establish this New Order, but he would not jump to conclusions just yet.

He would observe for now.

[member="Darth Ayra"]

"Vorrnskr is right." said Melkaroth with an edge to his voice. "We have no leader, and therefore nobody who has the right to appoint a new leader. Those wishing to claim the throne must make their case and the result decided on by a vote."

Cipher 18 listened as [member="Darth Ayra"] detailed the new list of Moffs. The meeting was going somewhere, this was good. But wait... was that his name she had just said?

Even Mosin Tark looked surprised. Eighteen had served the Empire faithfully for years, to be sure, but this sudden promotion was completely unexpected. Of course, a product of Imperial eugenics was always a good fit for any position of leadership, as he was genetically gifted with the ability and the intelligence to adapt quickly to almost any special duty. Though Eighteen had expected many more years, perhaps an entire career, in Imperial Intelligence.

"My name is Agent Ludolf Vaas, my Lord," He caught her hint, though he supposed he should have called himself Moff Ludolf Vaas instead. "I will fulfill my duties with honor." Not like he had a choice.

Later, the conversation began to devolve into disagreement. It appeared that Ayra's hegemonic position would not go unchallenged. Vaas was in no position to say anything, however Mosin Tark, the Minister of Intelligence, did.

"Lord Ayra," Tark began. "If Darth Vulcanus truly entitled you as his successor, surely he would have left some evidence that this is indeed his will? A signed writ or a holorecording, perhaps. He would know enough to do so, to avoid exactly what is happening in this meeting. My other Lords," Tark looked at [member="Darth Vornskr"] and @Melakoth Tyrin, "If Darth Ayra is able to produce such evidence, then I will acquiesce."

Dex Drakkel

When the last of the Sith and soldiers had gathered Dex returned to his position near the front. Just in time to hear [member="Darth Ayra"] to say "Lord Eclipsion shall be placed as Grand Moff of the Moff Council, with Officer Drakkel and Cipher 18 moving into the positions of Moff. As other officers and the right people come into place, more may be joining you on the Moff Council." This was surprising to him, he was only a Private, maybe his activity within the Order had paid off. And he had no idea what to do or say so he just stood there with a blank expression on his face as she explained what the duties of the Moff Council was. Then people started arguing and he prepared himself for any fight that may of broke out, but fortunately none had...Yet.

Then the voice of Cipher 8 brought forth an interesting point "If Darth Vulcanus truly entitled you as his successor, surely he would have left some evidence that this is indeed his will? A signed writ or a holorecording, perhaps. He would know enough to do so, to avoid exactly what is happening in this meeting. My other Lords, If Darth Ayra is able to produce such evidence, then I will acquiesce." Dex spoke for the first time since he first entered "I agree, if you have really been in contact with Darth Vulcanus, Ma'am, and he really appointed you as his successor then wouldn't he of given you some sort of message to display to us so we can trust what you say."

Tk-4261 stood in the corner of the room fully armored and flanked by his usual Five exterminator Squadron mates. There was a lot of bickering and bantering, not something he liked to hear. He was a man of action and calculated cruelty. After brief stint with the Imperium as a Colonel he had left and come back to find the New Order had preceeded it.

Yet it seemed the wind as not blowing into their sails anymore.

So he cut them off brusquely.

"Enough of this. We must discuss the subject of our military strategy. If we continue to lose ground on major assaults, we will not successful in extermination of the weak. I have a proposal for the council. Shall you receive it?"

[member="TK-4261 Strain"]

"I can say that no one Sith has the right to control the outcome of that vote." replied Melkaroth. "That is not to say I will have any vote to place...but infighting will serve nobody's interests. In any case, I will gladly here your proposal once our leader has been appointed--but do not presume to interrupt these proceedings for the sake of 'military strategy.'"

@Melakoth Tyrin

TK laughed, a dark evil sounds boomed from his voice box, that would make a child scream in terror. He swung the giant minigun up onto his shoulder and stared at the Dark one from beneath his helmet. Hopefully he would feel the Exterminators stare pierce his soul.

"I do not presume to meddle in the affairs of Dark ones. Very well then, finish this idle banter, that we may attend more pressing matters."

Ayra held up his hands, signaling to them all. "Silence," she said aloud, and her voice broke the discussion before it could continue. She turned her gaze to Vornskr. "I, Pandeima, you and Arcis shall discuss the leadership of the New Order when we have finished laying out the foundations necessary for it's continued growth and the completion of our imperative."

Still holding her gaze with Vornskr, she asked. "Who do you put forward to join the Moff council?"

Anthony Wintershed

Admiral of the 3rd Imperial Naval Taskforce
The 3rd Imperial Naval Taskforce comes out of hyperspace over the planet. Anthony sighs as he looks over the Burning Star. "Captain Ansel." Said the Admiral, still looking at the Burning Star. "Contact Rear Admiral Verkalisk, tell him he has overall fleet command, until my return." The Captain nodded, following the orders as Anthony watched his ships go into a proper defensive position around the planet. He then turned and walk towards the rear of the bridge, walking into the turbolift and descending to the Hanger Bay.

A minute or so later, Anthony found himself in the Hanger Bay, where every person in there stopped and saluted as he walked in. "Get back to work, the lot of you." He says as he walks to his shuttle and is met at the bottom of it's ramp by a soldier, Lieutenant Herald Forkanenth. "Lieutenant, get yourself a squad together and come aboard, knowing Sith, someone will get pissed and try to cut my head off." The Lieutenant nods and quickly runs over to his platoon, picking four men to go along with them on the journey. Anthony then walks aboard the shuttle.

Minutes later, the shuttle was flying through the black emptiness that is space, going towards one of the hangers of the Burning Star. He leans over to the Lieutenant. "I want you to stay with the ship, no-one comes aboard unless I order it. Am I understood?" The Lieutenant does a curt nod. "Yes sir, understood completely." Anthony then got up as the ship touched down, and walked down the descending ramp of the shuttle, on the cool, cold, metal floor of the hanger bay.

Minutes later, Anthony finds himself in the conference chambers, and he does a quick, yet respectable bow to the present Sith and sits down at an open seat. He sighs quickly then begins to speak. "I apologize for my tardiness, I had important duties to do that come with the admirality. Did I miss anything important?" He then leans forward, bringing his hands together, listening tentatively for a response from the people in the room.

Vaas stood silently as the meeting transpired. His former superior, Minister Mosin Tark, had brought up a valid point. If Vulcanus had truly entrusted the New Order to [member="Darth Ayra"], then why had he not made it known to the rest of the Empire? It was a distinct possibility that Ayra was merely capitalizing on Vulcanus' disappearance to make a power grab for herself. Just so. The Sith would play their games as they always did. Then again, she had just bestowed upon Vaas a lofty promotion - so who was he to complain?

Despite his gratitude though, Vaas was ultimately loyal to the Empire itself. He wanted only who would be the best possible leader for the New Order, and he hoped the Sith could solve their disputes with the best interests of the Empire in mind.

Sawa Ike

The Dark Matriarch Darth Shōjō
Sawa had been interested when she heard the news. New leaders were always interesting as time went on and her smile remained on her face while her senses tracked. She wanted to see who the new empress was after Vulcanus had disappeared. The others would all fall into place while she went out and did what was needed to help conquer. She wanted her old palace in the Necropolis bacl.

Anthony Wintershed

Admiral of the 3rd Imperial Naval Taskforce
Anthony sighed as he leaned back in his chair, being ignored by the others in the room. He then looked to Darth Arya and began to speak. "With all due respect Lady Ayra, why are we coming here if we all know your are the declared leader of the Empire? Could you not of decided the future of the Empire since you are at it's helm?" He then leaned forward again, sighing and begining to speak once more. "As if you could of done this yourself, why would you be bringing these matters to us? As Admiral I have duties to attend to." He then leaned back into the chair, wondering if his doubting of the new leader of the Empire, an Empire of which he was loyal to, would end his military career.

TK turned an eye to the newcomer and looked him over. It was a subtle movement, barely a nod as he assessed the man. He seemed frail and weak. The Exterminator had to fight back the urge to unshoulder his weapon and blast the man full of holes. But the urge came and passed.

Instead he walked over to the man and stood menacingly before him, weapons still on his shoulder like a spear in olden times.

"You ask an awful lot of questions Admiral. I Would advise you to do the same as I and not meddle in the affairs of the Dark ones."

He looked at the mans rank and insignia, taking in the lettering.

"3rd Naval task force? Tell me about your fleet. I grow tired of listening to the Dark Ones idle dribble."

Anthony Wintershed

Admiral of the 3rd Imperial Naval Taskforce
Admiral Wintershed would cock an eyebrow, looking to the brute soldier that's speaking to him. He wonders how this brute, and seemingly uneducated man got into this room with much more sophisticated, and important people. He keeps his curiosity at bay as he calmly responds to him, in the crisp way any proper Admiral does. "This is a meeting to discuss not only the future of the Empire, but the Galaxy we plan to take. With such important matters in our hands, I think it would do us no good to discuss the makeup of my fleet when one could merely check the Naval Databases and find the data there." The Admiral then adverts his gaze back to Lady Ayra, still awaiting a response.

Darth Ayra turned and addressed the individuals before him. "Lord Eclipsion, as Grand Moff I am leaving it up to you to coordinate the New Order. Inform the commander of the Burning Star to head to the Mirial system, where we shall annex it for the New Order."

And with that, Darth Ayra left Eclipsion, her Moff Council, the Admirals, soldiers and Sith Knights alike to complete the dominion of Mirial, just like her writer told them to do.

New Order: Concluding their participation in the Gathering, Ayra sent them to annex Mirial.

"Now that we're alone, we can conclude our business at the top end of the New Order." She turned her back to Pandeima and Vornskr. "Tell me more of this triumvirate, Darth Vornskr. I confess, I do not know much of it, whence my... insult earlier."
