The Serendipity found itself combing the Outer Rim area for information about Lossa's jedi master. Apparently lost or stranded according to the message that had been relayed to her. But the placement of such an issue was what surprised her in truth.

If she remembered after looking into his background, she could only guess that either a recent fight had caused some sort of issue or he had been stranded after a podracing incident had done the worst.

Or had been dumped their by a more merciful enemy.

The possibilities were endless in her mind until she found the man. The small vessel being cleared for landing as she touched down rather roughly against the landing pad with a disgruntled chirp from Skid as the little Droid searched the system for any errors that appeared at the lack of skill.

"Quit. I've been practicing. At least I didn't rip off the landing gear assembly this time." She snapped, walking through to her cabin before sliding into her jacket and securing regular clothes about her.

Wandering into the unknown in jedi robes was a poor tactic in her mind. Especially when she didn't know the precise details of what had happened with Jax. Checking the mirror, she tied her hair back in a low ponytail for the time being, checking her watch before pausing to open the cabinet beside the mirror and fetch a few bottles before finding the small metal magnetic cup that hung on the bottom of the sink.

She'd cursed the thing initially, jamming her knee into it the few times that she'd bothered to step into the ship. But blessed the little cup at being exactly where it needed to be reliably.

Resetting her timers and alarms, she took a deep breath and finally left the safety of her ship and waded into the port. Her first stop being the port office to secure an extended dock pass on the praxeum's credit. After finally getting the pass, with much back and forth between herself and the Dug behind the counter about the going rates of those passes to which she had no idea about in truth but had argued were outrageously priced, she opened a small leaflet she had snagged on a podium beside the exit.

A small map showed her the local area, a portion to the back giving her contact details for local transport services while another section showed local hotels and other places to eat.

Skimming for something in particular, she found a cantina that would serve her purpose well enough and set out for the spot to find any possible leads.

"Great..... back at Malastare."

Jax didn't remember what happened exactly, but he remembered taking a freighter on his way to Felucia when the ship was ambushed by what appeared to be raiders. However, once they boarded the men asked for Jax Thio. Not wanting to endanger the people on board, Jax willingly surrendered himself to the squad of mercenaries who promptly told him: This is for the Red King! before knocking him out.

As he came to, Jax looked around recognizing his old stomping grounds: Malastare. A jungle planet but had a fair number of cities with the corruption and crime that goes with it. The only good thing about Malastare were the Podracing events and even that had dirty moments such as sabotage and mysterious disappearances. In his early years, Jax spent a lot of time on Malastare cleaning up the messes. He was bound to make a lot of enemies. "Damn what the frack happened?" Jax mumbled shaking his head.

"Shut up!" The former Jedi felt clawed hands pushing him hard, Jax nearly tripped but managed to keep his balance. This looked to be the Malastare spaceport: Port Pixelito to be more specific.

"Should've gagged me or perhaps removed my tongue if you wanted to shut up." Jax chuckled scanning his captors. There were four men all armed with Blaster Rifles. Two of them were human, one was a Rodian, and the man who pushed him was a Devaronian. "Or even encase in me carbonite so you present me as a gift to who was the lucky man who found out that I'm alive? Ah yes! The Red King!"

Jax's first bust as a Jedi Knight. The Red King once one of the biggest spice dealers in the mid rim and owners of one of the biggest fuel depots in Malastare to cover his tracks was Jax's hated enemy. He was the first one to put the Red King behind bars and he had calling for Jax's head ever since. "Where's your Lightsaber Jedi?!" The Rodian asked Jax in Huttses.

"I left it at your mother's house," Jax chuckled. "Tell her I said thanks for last night."

The Jedi felt pain from the back of knees as he fell down headfirst onto the floor. "You think you're smart are you?!" The Rodian hissed.

"Not really." Jax said. "I've made a lot dumb decisions now and days but my IQ is at least in the triple digits while yours barely reaches double!"

It felt good to snark again, throughout his journey Jax was like a ghost going from planet to planet but with a renewed sense of hope thanks to the friends he made along the way, he felt invigorated again. Besides he knows the Red King, he would want him alive and intact before killing Jax himself.

The walk to the cantina was a quick one given it likely had been built to catch those coming off of ships to lighten the load of credits passengers had. Stepping inside, she was greeted with a myriad of eyes settling on her for a brief moment.

At least until the unease of her own feelings settled over those closest to her.

Agitated patrons shifted and tried to settle back into their own business as Lossa crept forward to the bar. The drink slinger frowning as she approached.

"Whatch'ya need?" Imaptience rode above the discomfort that she exuded.

"Looking for a jedi that came through. Figured he might have stopped in here. Usually in brown Robes, missing an eye, black hair and eyes, pretty sas-" She began before the man nodded.

"Heard about someone like that getting escorted. Here-" Their finger pointing to the leaflet she laid down. "-ish last I'd heard. I wouldn't mess with them though. Just trouble lying in wait with that one."

The scrunch of her brow had the man sighing and rubbing their face.

"Just get out. You're making everyone tense."

The discomfort everyone felt switched quickly to disdain and irritation as they all watched her leave with a grumble about the locals before she stepped outside to orient herself.

Holding up the map to the streets and looking at buildings before flipping the leaflet around and nodding as it all finally made sense.

"Trouble always finds a jedi. Nothing new with that news." She grumbled before setting off with a quick jog towards the last sighting spot.

"Hey take it easy! The boss said not to hurt Jax until he's bought to him!" The human mercenary placed a hand on the Rodian's shoulder. The Rodian huffed before glaring at Jax.

"What's a bruise or two gonna do?" He asked. "Not like he cares if he's spotless! Just that he's alive!"

"Better listen to your friend," Jax said smiling. "If I have even a mark on me that's less credits for you? How else are you going to pay for your facial reconstruction surgery so people could tolerate your presence?"

"ENOUGH WITH THE JEDI!" The Rodian pulled out his Blaster Pistol aiming at Jax's head. The former Jedi grinned. "Come on then," Jax said it was nice to meet his old enemy again, but he has more important things to do.

"Leave a mark, I guarantee that I'll still be more handsome than you." Jax slowly reached for his DC-15s Side Arm Blaster that was resting on the Rodian's waist.

The Rodian growled and took a step towards Jax, however he sidestepped took the blaster pistol from him and cracked him in the back of the skull with weapon. Jax turned around and was about to attack the human behind him but was greeted with a fist to the jaw. Jax growled slamming back first onto the floor, his blaster pistol slipping from his hand. He forgot that without the Force, he no longer had supernatural reflexes. The kicks felt all over Jax's body was a painful reminder of that.

Quick steps guided her along to where residual anger and contempt left a mark on the space. Feelings she couldn't ignore as she let her empathic ability open slightly more, feeling a trail of anger beckoning her along.

"Someone isn't happy." She sighed, wondering about how best to approach the situation with this new revelation.

Following the game trail, she wound her way through crowds of people while trying desperately to follow the slowly thinning feelings of anger and contempt before a pocket of it nearby broadcast itself.

Along with the sounds of violence.

"Ah Feth." She shook her head, dropping into a low run as she spied a group of bodies assaulting someone on the ground. She didn't mask her footsteps, instead preparing to unclip the lightsaber from her hip as she scowled at the group.

"People might think you lot are cowards beating on someone while they are down you know?" Came the snappy question from the Zeltron, letting disappointment flit across her empathic abilities to the group to drawn their attention.

"How's about we step away and talk about it, huh?" She called, hand resting on the long hilted saber.

Getting beatdown by common thugs really hurt Jax's pride not having the Force to guide he felt like a baby trying to walk. No more enhanced reflexes, no more anticipating punches before they were even thrown and Jax has done a poor job adapting. He expected more punches and kicks but they never came. A familiar voice called out to the three thugs causing them to look in her direction. "Wait a minute....." Jax slowly opened his eyes and saw the pink young woman threatening the men and brandishing her deactivated double-bladed lightsaber.

"Lossa....." Jax mumbled before grunting pain as the Rodian grabbed the Jedi by the hair holding him in his grip.

"Piss off little girl!" The Rodian yelled. "This doesn't involve you!"

"Back away if you know what's good for you." The human piped in while Jax remained on his knees gritting his teeth and trying to look for any opportunity to slip away.

"How long has it been Lossa?" Jax grunted. "A few weeks? Months? Who the frack is counting anymore? I know I promised to train you but a lot stuff happened."

"Shut it!" The Rodian growled.

"No I don't think I will." Using his prosthetic arm, Jax elbowed the Rodian's groin with all his might. The Rodian howled with pain as Jax finished him off with an uppercut.

"What the?!" The other men raised their blasters preparing to shoot Jax.
