What? They can't be serious, Taliya felt barely able to even do basic Force abilities, let alone move a large rock her own size. Now they're all expecting her to slow asteroids?! Listening to the smaller green Jedi to her side, Taliya swallowed nervously as she reached out with her hands. Taliya didn't want to be the reason everyone died or got grievously wounded from an impact she otherwise could have stopped from happening.

Taking a deep breath, remembering her training with her Master, the girl opened the gate to the force, letting it caress and guide her actions as she connected her attention to the massive asteroid spinning towards them. However, unlike Yenna who seemed to have the whole Force under control, Taliya struggled to even stop the enormous rock from spinning. Sweat started to form on her forehead as she strained herself, only making it worse as she tried to command and demand the flow of the Force to do what she wanted it to do.

Taliya squeezed her eyes even more as her face contorted out of frustration. "Come on, come on, come on" repeated the padawan rapidly and yet, nothing happened.

Suddenly it all went black and Taliya slumped against her chair only to inhale a deep breath as if new life had just entered the body of Taliya. An enormous flow of Dark and Light energies of the Force radiated like a roaring river. Whereas Taliya normally had a very meek aura in the Force showing nowhere near a power output that of Masters. And yet, whatever happened to the young girl, something had changed as a strong and powerful aura both in the Light and Dark Side of the Force reached everyone. Even Sakadi felt the sudden burst of power, a power Sakadi had felt once before doing sword fighting with Taliya... when the spirit gained control over the girl's body.

With both the Jedi and Sith in control, working as one, they reached out with both hands as the red and blue eye colours burned brightly like a star. Light and Dark, in complete balance, working in unison as not only did the asteroid stop spinning but right before everyone's eyes. the asteroid started to move out of the path they were flying on.

As suddenly the burst of complete control over the Light and Dark and power to match surging through Taliya, just as quickly did it all evaporate. One moment she had trouble reaching and guiding the Force to stop the asteroid from spinning, the next moment she was able to almost command the Force to move the enormous rock out of the way.

Taliya just slumped back into her chair, passed out.

Eleven's eyes darted in the direction of his co-pilot upon his announcement. Full control? "Are you ser--" Eleven stopped himself mid-sentence as he adjusted the positioning of the ship in tangent with the full control he'd been granted. There was no time to argue, or to show fear, they weren't out of the woodwork yet and lives were still very much at stake.

Hyperfocued once more, he ignored everything around him - continuing his daring attempt to squeeze through the narrow gap of the two large asteroids. Although, luckily, the two large fragments dispersed in opposite directions. He didn't know this was the handiwork of his Master and friend, but he was grateful for the assistance nonetheless. The vessel raced through the opening created by Yenna and Taliya, Eleven resumed evasive maneuvers.

Mathieu's words, however, reached his ears and despite not showing any indication he was listening, Eleven absorbed the information given to him. "I have faith in you." was what stuck out to him the most, Eleven's tensed muscles relaxed and he exhaled deeply. He could do this. The Force would continue to guide him. Everything seemed easier from then on, especially with Sakadi's positive update regarding the situation. Too focused to answer her question, he waited for either Yenna or Mathieu to answer. Eleven continued relying on the Force and his instincts as he piloted the freighter safely through the glacial asteroid field, evading any collisions.

A sigh of relief escaped him when the freighter finally exited the Rystan badlands and he slowly began the descent toward the planet. Eleven leaned back in the pilot's chair and took one hand from the control-yoke and ran a hand through his hair. "We did it, Mr. Mathieu." he said excitedly, turning to the large man with a broad smile. Then turning to the girls, realising that it was them who helped him with the two asteroids "Thank you guys." his smile was unwavering.

Returning his concentration to the icy blue landscape in front of them, Eleven directed the ship toward the designated ice flats.

Everything was happening unravelling quickly. He only just drew his attention from the clone when he saw the spinning of the two massive rocks slow. Yenna and Taliya were working their magic. And magic it was - for he couldn't help but to sense something concerning from the girl - the padawan. It was something which he could concern himself with at a later point - for for now, his attention was kept on the immediate danger of getting smashed by space rocks.

It appeared as if Sakadi managed to fix their technical issues. Impressive, considering how he had never quite thought of her as the technical type. It didn't matter - not now. All that mattered was their continued survival. Quietly managing thruster balances and keeping things steady for Eleven, Mathieu did his best to aid the piloting without disturbing it. And in the end, it appeared as if he wasn't all too bad at it for they ship soon made it out on the other side.

The large Morellian let out a victorious cheer. He turned to the boy and put a hand on his shoulder "You did it!" he laughed jovially and threw a glance back to the others "Well done!" His mood dampened as he noticed the unconscious girl in the seat behind him. "Blast" he muttered whilst turning away from her.

Clearly, Eleven was - at least somewhat - tired from the experience. He was leaned back, only kept one hand on the controls and looked back to the others, undoubtedly worried about his friend. "I'll take over" he said, his voice low and with a more serious undertone. Leaning forth, he activated his own controls and disabled those of the clone. It was clear as day that Eleven was the more skilled pilot but for the remainder of the journey to the surface, Mathieu's capacities would suffice.

With the flick of a switch, he activated the ship-wide comms once more "Master Sakadi, your Padawan has passed out." It was a brief message which may not have contained much information that the Jedi Master was not already aware of in some sense. Allowing the others to take care of the girl, Mathieu's attention remained on the piloting. Eleven had taken them far - chances were that they would be able to set down shortly after Sakadi got back to the cockpit.

Everything was black for the girl as she felt herself weightlessly float in a stream of endless emotions of light and dark. Tali wasn't sure where she was, but the calm flow of wind carried her as if she had been a feather.

"Wake up"

A voice, a familiar voice. Her own voice.

"Wake up" spoke her own subconscious voice.

Slowly opening her eyes, Taliya found herself back in the open expansive flow of possibilities within her own mind. Standing up, the girl began to look around herself, getting a feeling for her surroundings. The last time she found herself inside of her own mind, was with the help of her Master, calming her inner storm of unruly conflict of control between her demon and angel. Or in this case, Jedi and Spirit spirit.

Looking to her right, a low rumbling hatred of pure darkness, threatened to burst through whatever held it at bay. On the left, an endless view of white-bluish clouds moving peacefully.

Another voice could be heard, a familiar voice like her own. A voice, often pulling her towards the wild and unpredictable river of passion. "well well well. And so the padawan returns" spoke the voice of the Sith spirit as he slowly materialized out of the neverending rumbling and thundering clouds.

The girl's eyes went wide, as she laid eyes upon a corporeal form of what otherwise, had been only a voice.

"What? No greeting girl? You wound me" Asked the Sith Spirit as Taliya sarcastically as the young girl just floated, with a mix of fright and surprise over actually seeing what otherwise had been a voice ever since she was taken under her Master's wing.

"I- I- I..." repeated Tali, unsure whether it was fear or some weird flabbergast over how intimidatingly powerful the Sith Spirit was.
"Cathar got your tongue girl? Speak up" Snapped the spirit.

"Oh stop scaring the poor child you wile being" spoke another voice, yet another voice the girl knew very well, by now. The Sith just stared daggers as if looks could kill. Like the Sith, a form of pure light materialized out of the white-bluish clouds, forming a corporeal body of the Jedi, which Tali only had heard as a voice.

They were both solar opposite, both in the Force, but also in appearance. The Sith had very deep sunken black eyes, long black hair or was it a hood? It all blended together as the corporeal form wasn't completely solid. However, what made Taliya uneasy, even scared a little bit by the Sith, was how he had no mouth. but sunken skin into a slimmer of a skull.

The Jedi however, had a much more calm and wise appearance with a regal hint to her posture. Like her counterpart, her form wasn't completely corporeal as everything didn't quite show a solid form. With long luminous white hair reaching almost down to her loin. Her skin was almost translucent blue skin colour.

Taliya looked down at her feet, feeling nervous for some reason, before looking back up. "Why am I here? And how come I couldn't see you before?" Asked the girl curious. She had a bit of trouble looking at the Sith Spirit as his form made her nervous.

A calm demeanour shined from the Jedi Spirit as she prepared to explain why.

The most imminent dangers were dealt with, allowing the group to recover and breathe a huge sigh of relief. El sat back and Mathieu took control from him to steer them towards the planet's surface, while Sakadi sorted out the engines down below. Yenna continued to watch and observe with a smile that only grew with the praises from the two pilots. "Any time." She quipped softly.

Her gaze shifted to Taliya beside her. While she didn't react to it in the moment, the massive spike in her presence of the Force was not something the little green Jedi expected at all. A very curious case that intrigued Yenna as she watched the passed out padawan for a moment. "Of her, I'll take care." She spoke up as she unbuckled herself and slumped down her seat to stand next to Taliya. The Light and Darkness was gone as her faint presence emanated from her once again, back to the normal feeling Yenna was used to from her. She reached out and laid a tiny hand on the girl's leg and focused the Force to start healing and bolstering her energy.

She looked at El and Mathieu for a moment. "Feel it, did you? The surge from her?" She asked them gently, looking back to Taliya as she moved her hand around a bit. Though she started to wonder if her healing powers were even doing anything. Was this even a physical issue? Or more closely related to the Force?

A short crackle announced the activation of the freighter-wide communication system. The status update she had asked for came a moment later.

"Master Sakadi, your Padawan has passed out."

Sakadi let out a short sigh. It wasn't wholly unsurprising. Despite the extensive effort and amount of time she had poured into her training, the girl's artificial connection to the Force remained fickle and unpredictable. Yet she had her doubts that the nature of the girl's connection was the true driving force behind it. What she considered far more likely, was that Taliya simply struggled to control it. The timid girl often seemed to wrestle with her emotions and her place in the universe. Those were the kind of thoughts that made one's connection to the Force waver. And when it concerned a connection as fickle as hers, it showed.

"I felt it." She responded through the rippling waves of the Force, seemingly unperturbed. "Her connection to the Force is... different. I believe she's still incapable of controlling it." It made her realize that, perhaps, Taliya was simply not ready for this yet. "Keep an eye on her. If she behaves menacingly," some people would've chosen their next words carefully. Sakadi was definitely not one of those people. "incapacitate her through the Force." It seemed harsh. But the spirits that housed in Taliya could resurface. In case of both Jedi and Sith, it was undesirable and dangerous.

Five minutes after, Sakadi reappeared in the cockpit's doorway. While she had fastened most of the equipment, some had still managed to roll through open doors and block the freighter's corridors. A small detail, yet mildly frustrating when passing through.

"Feel free to land her in the south-western regions of the ice flats." She projected to Mathieu and Eleven, while casting a glance at Taliya. She was in Yenna's care, stable enough to dissipate what worry she had. "Be careful. The surface is uneven and the winds are strong. It may hamper your landing." She placed a hand on the back of Eleven's co-pilot seat, standing close enough to bend over and access the control panel herself - in case she found it unsatisfactory.

It was concerning to see and feel the turmoil that surrounded Taliya. But now that he had taken over the controls of the ship, it would free up Eleven to support her - he would more than likely do far better than Mathieu himself, at least considering the bond that he already seemed to share with the girl. And then there was Yenna who was already there to try to support her. It gave the large Morellian a peace of mind to know that his fellow Jedi had the situation under control. Then he noticed Sakadi's communication. Perhaps the situation wasn't as well controlled as he had hoped.

Regardless, he shifted his attention onto the piloting. The hardest part was behind them and he expected the remainder of the journey to be smooth. Once Sakadi rejoined them in the cockpit, she informed them that the strong winds and uneven surface might cause issues. Mathieu nodded "Understood"

While the hard winds did become increasingly noticeable, they still failed to offer much of an obstacle for the vessel until they reached the landing stage. It was at the Jedi master had said - the ground underneath was uneven and making precise manoeuvres was nigh on impossible considering the weather conditions.

After two aborted attempts to land, Mathieu brought the ship higher to study the terrain below. While there were certainly sheltered parts down below, they did not appear to be of the right dimensions for the ship. What did look promising, however, was a larger rock formation with a smoother side on the one end. Landing there would put the ship at a severe tilt but it would require less precision than the alternatives. "I'll go for that spot" he said, pointing to the rock formation with his finger.

Although it was still something of a struggle, the Momentum's landing gear eventually touched down on the tilted surface of the rock formation. The nose faced upwards which meant that the exit from the landing ramp's angle would be somewhat more manageable. "I think that's it" he said, glancing over to the others. Soon, his attention returned to double checking that their position was stable before proceeding with the ship's shut-down procedures.

Eleven proceeded to do a double take upon realising Taliya had actually passed out from the ordeal, "Taliya!" the Padawan exclaimed, spinning his seat to her direction, the boy shot up and rushed toward her in urgency before Mathieu had even confirmed to take the reigns of the ship. Kneeling down next to his master, he took hold of her arm as his brown eyes examined his fellow Padawan's unconscious features.

"W-what happened to her? I-is she gonna be alright?" fear currently overwhelmed him like a fog, Taliya was his only friend, he had grown to care for her deeply and to see her in the state was a horrible thing to witness. "One minute she was helping us and then..." he trailed off and averted his gaze, recalling that weird but subtle shift he'd felt in the Force just moments earlier, was that what caused her to pass out? Eleven shook his head, pointless speculation wasn't going to do anything to help Taliya right now. Eleven turned toward Yenna "You can help her, right?" Eleven remained by his friend's side until they landed, not even noticing the return of Master Sakadi or that they had even landed in the first place.

"I think that's it"

Mathieu's words finally caught his attention as he turned to examine their surroundings outside the viewing port, the black cold void of space had been replaced by the blue cold ice flats below the rock formation they had landed on. It looked cold. Too cold. Eleven had never been to a planet like this before, so this was all new to him. He hoped the winter gear would be enough to keep him warm.

Noticing Master Sakadi in the room, he noted the Jedi Master's aloofness and lack of concern for her Padawan. His eyebrows furrowed and his concern for Taliya quickly turned into anger directed at her Master. Standing up to his feet, he addressed with her a slightly more assertive tone, but his pubescent voice quickly undermined it.

"Hey! The Padawan that is meant to be in your care is unconscious! And you haven't so much as even given her a second look!" he exclaimed with a slightly raised voice, arms stretched out in confusion at Sakadi's behaviour. She gave off an icy demeanour but he didn't expect this. "I know we have pressing matters but--" his confidence quickly faded and his arms lowered, connecting his fingers together "-- you could show a little concern..." he said softly, lowering his head upon realising he'd just rudely addressed a Jedi Master.

Taliya woke up with a gasp and bolted up straight in her seat, before tipping over and landing face-first on the floor of the cockpit. A low grunt followed by a meek "ow". The twin-coloured eyed girl sat up, rubbing her forehead while also realising she was surrounded by Master Yenna and her padawan, Eleven. "Wha-what happened, did we win?" Asked Taliya with confusion in her voice, unknowingly sensing the tense emotions filling the cockpit and why they were so tense.

"Did we land?" Asked the young girl then, looking from Yenna to her master. Taliya could see the roaring snow-filled wind blasting outside of the windows of the cockpit, so she guessed that was a silly question to ask. Like Eleven, she hoped the winter gear would be enough to keep her warm as she had never seen snow or ice before and she would be crushed if she couldn't see the planet.

Sitting on the floor with her legs crossed, she still rubbed her forehead gently looking up at everyone else smiling sheepishly as she felt a bit silly and embarrassed over falling out of her chair. There was also the fact that she needed to speak with her Master on the matter of the spirit problem, as she had learned some new information she wanted to share with Sakadi as her master was very wise and smart.

To say that Sakadi's suggestion was jarring was an understatement, but Yenna blinked through the odd statement and continued to care for Taliya in her seat. She looked to El as he spoke up, giving him a reassuring nod as she continued to soothe the unconscious girl through the Force. "Of course." She muttered with a small smile.

A few minutes later, Sakadi reappeared in the cockpit and gave instructions on where to land. El's outburst, though, was something she couldn't halt in time. His connection to the girl was not strange by any means, they spent a lot of time together and had grown fond of each other. He still had a long way to go when it came to restraint and keeping his emotions in line. A lesson that took her many years to comprehend. A lesson his "older brother" also struggled a lot with. "El. Fine, Taliya is. Worry, you do not have to." She spoke up with a calm voice as her gaze focused on him for a moment before the frigid landscape outside the ship drew her attention. "Good gear, I hope you packed." She quipped with a snicker.

When Taliya finally woke up, Yenna had to scramble aside to avoid the girl's comparatively collosal stature from coming down on her. She let the others address her as she turned and left to find all their gear. "For my kind, did they have suits? Or... a toddler suit, did you get?" She asked with a hint of concern as she stopped for a moment to glance at Sakadi.

After several minutes of fussing, Yenna was geared up and waiting for the rest to join her by the boarding ramp and blast door keeping them safe from the harsh wasteland awaiting them.

"I'll go for that spot." Mathieu said, gaining approval from Sakadi with a nod. It would mark the third attempt to land the vehicle. The first two aborted due to the weather conditions and treacherous surface. And then there was also the disruption caused by the clone, who lost his focus and abandoned his post mid-operation. Standing right behind his chair, Sakadi had taken over almost immediately. Assisting as best she could, bent over the chair to reach the controls.

"I think that's it." said Mathieu after a difficult but finally successful landing. Sakadi let out a sigh of relief as she pushed herself up to stand straight again, meeting Mathieu's glance with a smile. One that faded almost immediately.

"Hey!" Eleven exclaimed angrily. "The Padawan that is meant to be in your care is unconscious! And you haven't so much as even given her a second look!" She met his gaze with a sideways glance. Considering whether she would bother to share her reasoning with the clone. "I know we have pressing matters but--" Perhaps it were her cold disposition and indifference that made him loose confidence so quickly. "-- you could show a little concern..."

"El. Fine, Taliya is. Worry, you do not have to." Yenna said, trying to remedy the situation.

"Before we departed, I gave that to her." Sakadi began, gesturing at the hilt attached to Taliya's belt. "A lightsaber is more than a weapon. It's the symbol of the Jedi. Carrying it means you represent the Order." explained Sakadi. "With it comes an almost crushing responsibility for the safety of others, sometimes even whole systems. How can someone like Taliya, who regularly overextends, carry that responsibility if she cannot even guarantee her own safety?" She shook her head. "First, she must learn to save herself. That is why I chose to leave her be." Sakadi decided to add one more thing. "Besides, that lightsaber is also a token of my trust. I have faith in her. That is why I show no concern." While she chose to hide it, a part of her admired that he stood up for Taliya, who woke up mere moments after. She would leave it up to him to inform her of what happened.

"For my kind, did they have suits? Or... a toddler suit, did you get?" Yenna asked. Sakadi, who walked behind her to the lower deck to get their gear, nodded. There were more Jedi of Yenna's stature than she probably knew about. The smallest Jedi Sakadi had ever met was an Anzellan, who's vocabulary had even been a challenge for the educated librarians Or'Fol Moric Or'Fol Moric and Eloi Graix. So indeed, when it concerned equipment size, Yenna had nothing to worry about.

Following Yenna's example, Sakadi traded her usual monastic robes for more suitable gear. Snow boots, a body glove, a white jumpsuit of thick cloth, and an electrically heated parka, cream in colour. She had some additional gear - goggles and fitting ear warmers, which she would wait with until they went outside.

Sakadi swung one of the equipment-containing backpacks over her shoulder as she left the small dressing room set up for the women. Her next concern was to get the engines of the swoop bikes running. Two of the three bikes they had brought with them had a sidecar attached to it.

It was there that she would wait for the others.

He answered Sakadi's smile with one of his own. But then, tempers flared once more. It was the clone, Eleven. Earlier, Eleven had been on the receiving side of it when Mathieu mistook him for Cassie - and now, Sakadi was on the receiving end of it as Eleven reacted to her cold stance towards her padawan. Things like these could go in cycles - he wondered if Eleven would have been able to remain calm if he hadn't been treated so poorly earlier. He looked to the outraged youngster apologetically. In a way, he hoped to step in and help to calm the tempers but considering his earlier actions, it really wasn't his place. Instead, he focused on completing the ship's shut-down procedures.

Once done, it appeared as if Sakadi had already addressed Eleven's outrage. Whether it had appeased him or not was not clear. Regardless, doing anything at all in this situation seemed like walking an emotional minefield. Doing his best to avoid it all, Mathieu rose from his seat and started to move towards the exit of the cockpit. On his way out, however, he stopped and extended a hand to Taliya, offering to pull her up if she wanted a little bit of help as she recovered. "Yeah, we did" he said, to answer her question that had largely been ignored so far.

If Taliya needed help, Mathieu would offer that. Regardless, it would not be long before he too climbed down to the bottom floor. Already wearing a bodyglove clad with armour plates underneath his robes, the Jedi did not need a room to change. Instead, he simply switched his outer robes for winter boots, pants and a thick jacket. It would somewhat work to limit his mobility but it would certainly keep him warm. He rolled his robes up and strapped it to his sandwich filled backpack onto which he attached a thick rope-like wire.

It wouldn't be long before he could join Master Sakadi by the bay with the swoops. The vehicles were well suited for their mission. Agile, sturdy and quick. Perfect for their needs. Still, he was curious about which members of the group that would feel inclined to pilot a swoop. Briefly, his mind ventured to Sammy - she would more than likely have loved this. Snapping back to the present, Mathieu looked to Taliya "I take it you are going with Master Sakadi?"

The lavendar skinned Master's glare would probably be enough to put any Sith on edge, but oddly, her cold stare felt both familiar and unnerving. It was enough to completely shatter his confidence and his gaze veered away from the Jedi Master. Yenna's voice instilled a modicum of courage within the boy, despite her obvious attempt at easing tension but the damage had already been done. Eleven's attention returned to Master Sakadi when her immaterial voice infiltrated his mind, however his eyes squeezed shut as he tried to bear the uncomfortable nature of having someone's thoughts invade your own.

The Jedi Master explained her reasoning for her uncaring attitude towards the wellbeing of her Padawan, turning to look at the lightsaber she carried - the 'token of trust'. Frankly, Eleven found her reasoning to be a load of bantha poodoo but he wouldn't dare speak up again. However, he made his dissatisfaction with her answer known, pursing his lips and furrowing his brows before spinning around to check back on Taliya. Kneeling back down, his friend suddenly awoke and immense relief filled the boy's heart. A broad smile stretched across his youthful face and he placed an assuring hand on her shoulder

"Taliya! You're okay! Thank the stars..." he said with a happy sigh "You passed out..." Eleven began to inform her, stopping to turn his head and quickly glance at Master Sakadi with a disapproving look. Shaking his head, he turned back to Taliya and removed his hand "Uh, yeah. We landed."

As everyone began to dress in their warmer gear, the Padawan followed suit as he too made his way to the lower deck replaced his robes with a thermal body glove, a sweater, winter boots and a cream parka with a hat and goggles. Readying his backpack, Eleven met up with the others in the swoop bay.

"We're going to ride these?" he said with a smile and a hint of excitement in his voice, approaching one of the bikes and gently caressing it with his gloved hands. Turning to his smaller Master, the Padawan raised an eyebrow "Master, how are you going to ride one? You aren't exactly... the tallest person here." he queried, chuckling awkwardly.

Looking around a bit confused as to why there was tension as people left to go change, she nodded when Mathieu confirmed that they had landed. She smiled a bit wider when Eleven turned his to her as she still rubbed her forehead with the palm of her hand. "Yea, though I think I'm going to get a bump on my forehead," said Taliya sheepishly, making a face to the minor throbbing headache where she hit her forehead.

Following everyone else, Taliya took her bag and found a place where she could be alone, as she not only was too shy to just remove clothes in front of everyone, but she also didn't want everyone else to see her remove most of her outfit. In hindsight, when looking through her bag, Taliya probably should have packed some snacks or warm drinks for when they go out there. Quickly the Padawan removed her light brown robes of the Jedi Order followed by pulling off her boots. She thought about if she could take more clothes off, but knowing what she does now, about the planet, she decided against removing her Jedi outfit and got into her warm winter clothes of the Parka variety.

Standing fully equipped in a white Parka suit, fur trimming the edge of her hood hugging her head she closed her bag and exited the room with the bag over her should. It was a bit weird, having so many layers of cloth on, especially an outfit that kept her so warm as it did given the fact that she had never had any need for warm clothes before. Putting her bag back, she found the others right as Eleven stated how short his Master was, which Taliya found a bit amusing. Heading in the direction of her master, she stopped a bit, when Mathieu spoke to Taliya, asking if she would be going with Sakadi, giving the big man a decisive nod.

The young girl's opinion of Mathieu had changed a bit, given as he seemed friendly enough and did aid everyone didn't crash into anything. Of course, there also was the fact that he corrected her in a rather odd manner, telling her and Eleven that he wasn't a bully like Taliya had called him when he grabbed Eleven I the beginning of the trip.

Now, Taliya was quite an optimistic, if not quite a bit of an awkwardly shy girl in a lot of areas, so she did want to be friends with the tall broad man. However, she was still a bit unsure of him, though cautiously optimistic.

Standing by her Master, Taliya smiled wide, coming off rather sweet as the younger girl looked very much looked up to her mentor and Master. Looking at the swoop bike by them, Taliya had never flown one, so she had no real reference of what to expect. Although, they looked interesting.

It was a relief for the little green Jedi to have a proper kit for these kinds of missions. The Jedi order had to accommodate for various species in the galaxy, but equipment for her stature was usually not always available. For the first time in a very long time, she felt valued and accommodated as she dressed in her cream winter kit and slung her pack across her back.

That amazing feeling swelled when they reached the speeders and she hopped onto the nose to inspect the vehicle. El approached and voiced his valid concerns about who was going to drive it. At first Yenna was unsure, but as she slid the cockpit open and slumped down to check the seating adjustments, a bright grin formed along her features. "I am." She answered simply with a brimming confidence she hadn't felt in years. Her gaze shifted to Sakadi as she reached out telepathically to draw her attention. She had no words to describe her excitement and gratitude, but she could convey the feelings through the Force to emphasize just how happy she was. Her bright grin continued to reflect that as she looked back to El. "Drive with, who do you want to?" She asked her padawan.

Ideally, she would want to share the experience with him, though she knew he had his connections with others in the group that might draw him more towards them.

As she waited for them all to get situated, she slid the seat forward and adjusted the controls for her stature before she started the speeder up with almost no hesitation. "A while, it has been..." She commented with a low giggle as she revved up the machine.

Once the others had gathered in the small cargo-hold of The Momentum, Sakadi strode toward one of the two-person Swoop-bikes. She circled around to the back of the vehicle, and pressed a well-hidden button that opened a small compartment. Just large enough to stow her backpack in.

"Taliya can stick with me. As for how you divide yourselves over the remaining two speeders, please remember that we have to stick together out there." Sakadi commented. She was highly cautious of the danger the ice flats presented. It was a place shrouded by eternal night, with treacherous winds and hidden chasms. As far as she knew, there was no life on this side of the planet due to the extreme cold. But it wouldn't be the first time the Force proved her wrong.

Once she took place in the driver's seat and had all the systems running, she glanced over to the other two speeders. "I've uploaded the coordinates to your speeder's internal computers. In case we lose each other, we meet there. Furthermore, don't let your engines cool down. Once that happens you're stranded." She then turned to Taliya specifically. "Taliya, the sidecars of these swoops have been outfitted with a small laser turret each. When it comes down to it, you're the gunner. You understand?"

"If everyone's ready, let's go."

The permafrost fields stretched out far ahead of them into the darkness, their vision only obscured by the rugged cliffs and mountains that rose from the surface. The roaring winds fought against her grip to gain control over her speeder, the control poke of her vehicle juddering constantly. Sakadi thought that the path they followed was one formed by wind erosion. It would explain why not one snowflake reached the ground of this frozen wasteland.

She glanced at the sensors of her speeder. The temperature was rapidly declining, well on its way to absolute zero. They were approaching the dead zone, she guessed.

"How are you doing Taliya? projected Sakadi. "Do you still see the others?" She had put the girl in charge of keeping track of the other two speeders. That way she could focus fully on finding the safest path. Something that was going quite well, or so she thought.

Although that rising confidence jinxed it.

An alarm blared inside her speeder. Her eyes darted to the distance calculator. The sensors told her that they were approaching something. She couldn't tell what through the darkness, not until it was less than three-hundred meters away from them.

"Taliya… hold on!" A large chasm carved its way through the icy surface, obstructing their path. But what was perhaps more concerning, was that they were going too fast to stop in time. It left them with only one choice.

The speeder roared as it accelerated to full throttle. The reckless plan was clear. She just hoped that the others would follow.

Mathieu gave Master Sakadi a nod as she brought Taliya along. The two of them didn't appear to have been connected for long. Sakadi's rather distant style could be misleading him, of course. In his eyes, however, their relation was much unlike that which existed between her and Cassie. But then, maybe it would be hard for the Jedi Master to establish a new relationship similar to the one which she had with the Kiffar. There was much pain involved - something which both she and Mathieu himself had very recently been reminded of.

His eyes ventured over to Eleven and Yenna as they discussed their set-up for the journey. A meek smile appeared on his lips. Their bond seemed strong. It was good, for with his undeservedly large baggage, the clone would need someone to support him. Mathieu wanted to be that person but his recent duel against Cassie had left its marks. He would try to be nice, there was no question about that - but whenever he saw the boy, his mind immediately snapped back to darker thoughts.

Slowly, Mathieu's eyes continued on their path to the remaining speeder. The one without a side-cart. From time to time, he would regret not being a more prominent student - one who would catch the eye of a Master who would take him on. It was a fleeting thought and one which he quickly tried to brush away - it was just as Chaussidier had taught him - One could learn from mistakes but dwelling on them never did anyone any good.

Mounting the speeder, the large Morellian had to work a little to get it going. He could hear how it stuttered and groaned underneath him - far from the sound a rider wanted to hear. Still, they all had to work with what they got. As Master Sakadi called for them to depart, he let out a short "I'll be right behind you"

The main objective was to catch up. Mathieu had lingered a little bit behind the others as he had tended to ensuring that the landing ramp closed properly. If it didn't there was a risk that they would all be stranded on the planet regardless of how the mission went. The young Morellian was a decent pilot - something which was indeed rather fortunate as it allowed him to steadily reduce the distance between himself and the others. Allowing the light emitted from their engines to guide him was most beneficial and taking what appeared to be a shortcut from time to time helped.

Upon taking one of those shortcuts, Mathieu slowed down to make a slightly sharper turn. It was a mistake. For with the reduced speed, making the jump over the chasm was made much riskier. While he thanked his lucky stars for not having a side carriage attached to his vehicle, he was very well aware of how much he weighed in comparison to the rest of the party. It was all set up for a tight jump. The engines roared when Mathieu pushed his speeder to its limits, trying to give himself as much speed as possible when making the jump. Soon, he could hear the repulsor lifts working at an extremely high rate as the vehicle left the ground, forcing it to try to compensate.

A loud and ugly metallic noise could clearly be heard as the speeder literally touched down and scraped its bottom part against the icy rocks below. It was likely that the others wouldn't be able to hear it, considering the unfavourable wind conditions but anyone looking would see pieces of metal and rock splatter away from the point of impact. Still, the large Jedi considered himself lucky to have survived the jump at all. His luck continued as the speeder still appeared to be functioning - being stranded now would likely be a death sentence. But, there did appear to be some serious damages to the speeder - most notably the exhaust system. While it was not critically damaged, it was bad enough so that smoke would appear from the engine exhaust the noise from it had increased tenfold. 'Discretion' and 'stealth' were now no longer an option for whoever used the speeder.

"I--" he started to protest, before ultimately giving up with a sigh, seeing how happy Master Yenna was at the Swoop being accomodated for her size was pleasing to see. Taliya was going to ride with her Master and he didn't feel comfortable enough to ride with Mathieu yet, his chest still persisted to hurt from earlier. With no other Swoop bikes around, he would have to ride alongside his own Master. "I'll ride with you." Eleven resigned, a defeated tone in his voice.

Suffice to say, Eleven was sort of jealous of Mathieu - being able to ride on his own. Riding one of the swoops looked like a blast, although he did pilot the freighter to safety earlier, it wasn't the same. He was under the stress of a life or death situation and couldn't fully have fun in piloting. Begrudgingly, the teen stepped into the sidecar and leaned his cheek into his left palm. How humiliating.

"WHOOOOOOOOO!!!" Eleven joyously hollered as they rode through the ice flats. Okay, this was still fun too. Freezing cold aside, the thrill of speeding through the planet at this intense speed, the wind harshly blowing on his face and through his clothes, it felt great. However, this feeling of freedom and peace triggered another flash in his mind - a quick few flashes of being on a speeder bike, narrowly avoiding a truck, and a... brown haired woman?

His expression of excitement stopped for a second when he shook his head, suddenly returning back to the present. The swoop's sudden beeping startled him, causing him to yelp in surprise "What the--? Master what is that?!" he called out to her, fighting against the wind. Coupled with the beeping, he felt a pit in his stomach and his neck hairs stand up - something wasn't right. "Master, something's wrong!" he warned Yenna, as if the beeping wasn't enough warning.

It was almost pitch black but his brown eyes narrowed as he made out Sakadi and Taliya suddenly accelerate forward. Turning back, El noticed that Mathieu was doing the same. Something definitely wasn't right.

Having never written anything like what they all were about to do, Taliya had no point of reference, other than books and movies. She could see that Master Yenna and Padawan El were overexcited by the thought of getting to drive them, so she looked up at her own master as the woman mentioned her name. "Mm," Taliya made a slight nod and a smile to show she understood her master's request and question. While El looked absolutely crushed that he had to ride shotgun instead of driving the Swoop-bike, Taliya was much more comfortable riding tag-along and let her master do the driving.

The moment the door opened, Taliya felt the jaw-dropping cold hit her, making her immediately despise it. An enormous rush all the way into her stomach as her Master blasted off with their swoop bike into the icy cold environment. It was so cold and windy that Taliya completely forgot to project her message back to her Master and just started to yell. "IT'S S-S-SOOOO COLD M-MASTER!" yelled the young girl feeling the cold biting into her tiny bones, not to mention, her lips started to get chapped.

She looked over her shoulder, even turning a bit in her seat to get a better look, lifting her hand to keep the wind from hitting her in the face. "I think I see them" projected Taliya to her master, though it was a bit hard with her wild the wind decided to be at the moment.

Right as she turned around, her eyes went wide, seeing the chasm appear and then her master deciding the best course of action, to drive towards it. "Uhm master, what are you doing? Master?! MASTER, YOU'RE DRIVING TOWARDS IT?! AHHHHHH!!" screamed Taliya the entire jump, clutching her tiny hands to the edge of the cart she sat in, squeezing her eyes shut and waiting for whatever happened next.

As Yenna situated herself behind the controls of the swoop, she glanced over to Sakadi as a mischievous grin formed along her features. "Engines cool, don't let?" She repeated as a snicker bubbled from her. "Will do." She muttered, starting the swoop up with the throttle wide open. Eleven got into the sidecar, though she could feel the mix of emotions from him as he looked around to the other swoops. In any other instance, she would have let him drive... but this was a rare instance where the little green Jedi felt a little selfish.

When Sakadi gave the word, Yenna launched the swoop with a howling laugh, soon falling into line with the other two. Though it didn't take long for her to treat the trip as a race, pushing the speedometer as high as she could with the harsh terrain. An enormous smile was affixed on her face as she spared the occasional glance at El to make sure he was still fine in the sidecar. The little green Jedi fell back a bit to drive in formation with Sakadi, a good choice to make as the warning sounded off on the navigation computer. In the distance, she could faintly notice the chasm waiting for the three swoops. "Hold on!" She called out to El as she opened the throttle, pushing the machine to its limits.

All three swoops managed to make it over the gap, though Yenna noticed the smoke bellowing from Mathieu's swoop where he touched down. :: Mathieu, alright, are you? :: She asked over the comms as she drove a little closer to him. "El, check for damage. Okay, is his swoop?" She asked her padawan as she continued to focus on the path ahead.

The winds and snow made spotting potential dangers rather problematic. Her vision was extended through the Force, but even the senses could not cover everything. At least they didn't take any harsh hits in the landing. :: Okay, is everyone? :: She asked them all.
