After decades of brutal enslavement at the hands of the Echani Compact, the desert-world of Thyrsus is finally free. However, whilst other cultures would reflect on their generations of devastation and struggle, the Thyrsians were different.

Peace and inaction were anathema to their martial society. ​

Thus to honour the lives that were lost during the hostile occupation, and the reclamation crusade thereafter, the Council of Elders - in conjunction with the Supreme Sun Guardian - have decreed that Thyrsus shall be host to the first ‘Feast of Blades.’

Combatants from across the Galaxy shall be welcomed to participate in this test of skill and compete for honour, glory, and prizes worthy of their prowess.

The edicts of this feast shall be simple, as this is a test of bladework and skill. ​

Every combatant shall have nothing more than a weighted blade, and conventional body armour.

Every fight shall be to third blood, and shant progress towards a death bout; unless agreed upon by both combatants.

However, the Clash of Swords shall not be the only entertainment offered during this celebration of Thyrsian Culture and Life. High above the sands of the arena, one of the Golden Company’s skyhook's has been gravitically-tethered in place, to act as a lavish viewing platform for those with credits to spend.

As the date looms ever closer, I just wanted to add that the IC bar aboard the Skyhook will be open - so your character's can drink my stores dry.

In addition to that, Jedi, Sith, or whatever religious denomination your character ascribes too is welcome. Weapons will likely be checked at the "door" and there will be tight security aboard the station - however that won't stop holdout weapons, the Force, and the odd bar stool from flying once everyone's good and drunk.

As to the fight in the arena itself? Well, I think it'll be interesting to have it be a free-for-all, last person standing affair, no?
