STRENGTHS

• Bring You Down to My Level: The voidstone used as the centerpiece of the ring impairs connections to the Force and weakens its effects around the wearer, a boon as the intended wearer is not Force-sensitive.
• Small Target: Despite not having any built-in defenses for its wearer, the ring's small size and chromium is itself a defense against those trying to destroy it.

WEAKNESSES

• Only Goes So Far: The ring's effect has a limited, personal range of about 2 meters, and those farther away will not suffer impaired Force connections.
• Only Does So Much: The voidstone weakens Force powers and impairs connections, but does not completely negate them, nor does it offer any protection whatsoever against things such as telekinetically thrown objects.
• Nerf or Nothing: The voidstone has no effect on anyone not Force-sensitive, and offers no protection to its wearer from weapons or damage of any kind.

DESCRIPTION
Once upon a time, Aurelius Baldor had a rule for himself: don't karking involve yourself in the affairs of Forcies and saber jockeys. In a perfect galaxy, he may have held true to that, but this dirty galaxy is far from perfect, there's money to be made, and Forcies are in every corner of the galaxy. So what's a crime lord who didn't win the midi-chlorian lottery to do? Protect best you can from its effects, that's what.

Once Aurelius caught word of the Force-suppressing voidstone, he knew it was perfect. Paying a pretty penny on the black market for a workable chunk of the stone, he handed it over to his geniuses at Shadowhand Skunkworks and told them: "Make a ring. A damn good one." And one can't really say they didn't deliver. Apart from being attractive to the eye, the resultant ring does as advertised and impairs and weakens the Force around it. Aurelius christened the beautiful ring The Equalizer, hoping it will help him equal the odds against Force wielders.
