The Tower. Madalena sat behind her desk, her back towards the setting sun of Eve, as she gazed at the paperwork in front of her. It'd been a while since she'd returned from the captivity with the Outer Planets Alliance, and only now had she slowly begun to settle back into her position, the very one that she'd had doubts about ever since coming back.

The analytical part of her mind had been crunching numbers, patterns, reading in depth into everyone's personal files. Another pile of papers were there as well, mostly dealing with the creation of a normal HQ for the Wild Hunt, but she ignored those for the time being. They needed to do so much before that became a necessity, and she wanted to take everything available to her, and improve it.

Hours, she had spent, watching footage of their fights. Destruction on several planets, battles on others… Their mission success had been… Modest. Not enough victories while fighting the dinosaurs of the galaxy, but also not as many losses as she'd have feared. At least on that, what she had tried to instill prior to the Battle of Zonju had been maintained.

But it wasn't enough.

Agents of Chaos hadn't managed to hit a single percentage of what they could, in the time that she'd been away. Certainly, the win of Kuat and Alderaan was a great one, but to Madalena, it emphasized how much they needed to step it up in other places to make sure it would not go down in history as their only victory.

It was for that purpose that she had summoned this small meeting that day. From the dossiers, she'd selected several people, whom she believed were diamonds in the rough. While no one had stepped up in her absence to do what she did, she could recognize, from the footage and reports, that these few, had the potential to not only be as good as her, but maybe even better. But to see if that potential could be fulfilled… They were going to need time.

Thirty seconds to when their meeting was supposed to start. Madalena was ready. If anyone had shown up early, she let the receptionist know to let them in.

It was time to begin.

Ingrid was sitting in her office, when she got Madalena’s message. It was about having to travel to Scintilla. Scintilla, she remembered Scherezade’s threat if Ingrid ever hurt Scintilla they became enemies. She still didn’t understand why the other woman said that. Well she figured out the EE and the AoC can’t be allies forever, both factions were really different, and their goals are different too. But yet, she didn’t want to deal with it yet. She sent back a message to Madalena, that she would be at the meeting.

Because she didn’t have too much time, she took a few days off and travelled to Scintilla. Ingrid brings with herself the AoC’s armor, because this was the AoC’s home world and capital. Long time she wasn’t here. In fact she loved Scintilla. Maybe it was not a frosty/ice planet – these were her favorite – but Scintilla was different. Few hours later she was docked near the Wild Hunt’s tower. Maybe she was a little late, but not too much. When she arrived at the HQ the receptionist sent her up to Madalena’s office.

She wears her armour this time too. In the AoC no one saw her face yet, except Scherezade, and she wanted it to stay that way. Now she was the Eternal Empire’s third person, after the Emperor and the Empress, and she was still part of the CIS’s Intelligence – she spying on them – and the CIS’s not know her face too. And so it was all right, it could have been anyone who wanted to be. Meantime she arrived at the office and entered after knocking/ringing.

”Welcome! We never met before, Valeria Ragal, the Red Witch!” she held out his hand to the other woman.”What will be the purpose of the meeting? she asked.

Hanna, Post 1
Location: The Tower, Eve - Scintilla ( Madalena Antares Madalena Antares Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim Herah Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred Nassier Zirfae Nassier Zirfae The Bridesmaid The Bridesmaid )

It had been months since she had last seen Madalena Antares.

The last time was immediately before she went to sleep in a cot in her cell, before being dragged out for interrogation while still passed out in a deep slumber that had been brought about by the numerous painkillers she had been given after the surgeries she had underwent to save her life. Nevertheless, she remembered every moment of the interrogation, which she had spent deep in prayer, beseeching Discordia for strength while the OPA inquisitors sought futilely to extract information from her. They had never inflicted pain upon her person, but initially, they sought to make her talk by making her as uncomfortable as possible. Relentless and unceasing prayer had brought her through that, which made her interrogators realize that they weren’t dealing with one typical soldiers-of-fortune that made up much of the ranks of the Agents of Chaos, but rather a devoted fanatic with a will of phrik. They then attempted to make her as comfortable as possible. Everything from donuts to the finest cuts of nerf steak were brought out before her and set on a platter. She was allowed to eat a single small bite from each. However, in order to have the rest, she was required to divulge information. Unfortunately, the interrogators had made a severe misstep in telling her that she would only be allowed one free bite, before she began to eat it.

And so, Hanna left the food untouched and continued in her prayer.

Upon her return to Scintilla, she still had her apartment, even though many had presumed her to be dead. It was a relief to finally sleep in her own bed after an extended stay in the hospital, where she underwent multiple operations to transplant organs cloned from her own DNA, which replaced the cheap cybernetics that the OPA had fitted her with. Her faith had never waivered, and for that, Discordia had rewarded her with a second chance at life.

For once, clad in something fashionable, Hanna stepped inside of the office after showing her ID to the receptionist. She initially frowned upon seeing the woman in dark pink armor, but seeing Madalena at the desk was more than enough to shift her expression into that of a smile. She quietly took a seat, feeling somewhat shy in the presence of the extroverted armored woman, but that did little to temper her joy at seeing Madalena for the first time in many months.

"Scintilla? What's that?"

Somewhere in the galaxy, in a place Nerium had long forgotten making the active decision to settle, the variable given form was hunched over a datapad, contemplating the summons with head cocked to the side, her free hand buried in her hair as if she'd forgotten it was there mid-motion. The name was unfamiliar, or perhaps it was very familiar, just lost to active thought. It was so hard to tell these days.

"Or maybe it's a who? No, I don't think so. Maybe a where."

She kept contemplating the name, as if it were one of life's great mysteries. She'd already made the decision to go, even if she couldn't quite place who, what, or where it was. Surely, she'd figure it out eventually. And if not, someone else would. It would be an adventure, one way or another. She sent a message back, though whether or not it was legible to anyone other than herself was another question entirely.

!!?@$ASD!

A few days later, she was there, wandering towards the tower in a very roundabout fashion. Eventually, she did make it there, though not without arriving with a frozen treat in hand. The wild head of hair looked between the other attendees in term. "I, uh...Hi! What are your names?"

A meeting was called and she responded by making her way to the Scintilla tower, She dawned the light armor she normally wears and had not much on her except her nightsister daggers as she walked she enjoyed being apart of the hunt it let her expand her more destructive tendencies but for now she wanted to see what the meeting was about. When she arrived she looked around seeing those who arrived so far all of them fellow brothers and sisters of the hunt.

As she looked to Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim who was the first to introduce herself she figured, Why not do like wise its only fair they know who she is.

I am Herah Was all she said as she gave a small bow to each of them before looking to Madalena Antares Madalena Antares to see what she wished to discuss as she was the one who called them all here.

Morgan made her way towards the Tower, happily whistling while she did so. She'd been called to attend to some kind of meeting, but she wasn't entirely sure why anymore. Surprisingly though, the normally ever-curious woman wandered around without worrying about it too much. Instead, she played around with a small metal sphere with three legs attached to it, a small and broken droid. She kept throwing it through the air as she walked, playing around with it as if it was a teddy bear, which, to her, it kind of was.

When she arrived and saw the group which had already arrived before her, Morgan sort of froze on the spot. The rest looked... like they actually knew what they were doing. Perhaps she'd underestimated the seriousness of the situation. She swiftly caught her little robot friend out of the air one last time before she slowly stuffed it inside her pocket.

Morgan looked around, confirming this was actually the place she was supposed to be and then introduced herself. "I.. uh, hi there. I'm Morgan. Pleased to uh... meet you all and all that."

Scintilla Tower

Silence was punctuated by the metallic click of Judd's old mechanical lighter. Without much care he brought the flame to a cigarette, the tip glow orange. He flicked the device close and exhaled a cloud of smoke as he leaned against the window. The others filing into the room were unfamiliar to him, not that he tried to be socialize. As far as he was concern everyone was a waste of good oxygen until proven otherwise.

He still wasn't sure if these people were the right fit for him. Some of them seemed a little to religious for his taste. But when recruited he was promised a chance for mayham. Nothing can stroke the rebellious side of a man who'd grew up in Hapan society like a promised to do as he liked.

Still...if they offer kool-aid as refreshments I'm out.

Jai slowly walked up to the Tower, a pair of Strill in tow. He had received a message from Madalena to come to the Tower, and had slowly begun to walk to the door. He looked down at his Strill, telling them to stay before walking in and heading up. He still wasn't quite sure what this was for, but he... sort of trusted Madalena. The young Mando would soon make his way up, and walk in to see a lot of people he didn't really recognize. There was at least deWinter and Morgan there. He knew them both. The armored Mando then sat down, looking as people introduced themselves. He looked from under his helmet finally speaking up.

"Well, I don't know everyone. I'm Jai'Galaar Gred."

Judd Hunter Judd Hunter Madalena Antares Madalena Antares The Bridesmaid The Bridesmaid Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim Herah Nerium Nerium Hanna Hanna Nassier Zirfae Nassier Zirfae

The first woman to enter her office was Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim , going by the name Valeria Ragal. Scherezade was told that the Red Witch was one of her sister's friends, and had been part of the Wild Hunt since its very early days. It was strange that she and Madalena had never met; in the early days, the Hunt had been so small that Madalena had been certain she knew everyone in it. The woman in the armor was the one that had proved her wrong. However, completely oblivious to the fact that the woman was serving two more governments as well, one of them considered an enemy and the other one soon to be considered as such as well, Madalena gave her a warm small as she shook her hand. "Hello, Ms. Ragal," she said, her tone warm to match her smile, "I assure you, once everyone arrives I will spare none of you any of the details."

The next one to enter was the unicorn lady, Hanna Hanna . Madalena looked at her, giving her an acknowledging nod. The two had been captured together by the OPA, and Madalena had promised to speak if Hanna was released. For a long time she had wondered what happened to the diminutive girl, and when she learned of the endless medical processes she'd had to go under after her own return, months before Madalena herself… The important part was that Hanna had indeed been returned as promised. And that made the OPA an enemy that she could respect, even if it would not make her back down from the will to destroy them completely. There were many who had views such as that, against many governments around the galaxy. Madalena was one of those who truly believed in the cause. But Hanna… Hanna was a zealot, through and through. And that made her proud of her.

Third came a very… Colorful woman. Nerium Nerium . Madalena knew close to nothing about her, as she was so completely new that she yet to embark on a single mission. For the decision to include her, some would have asked if Madalena was mad, for it was the Force that had tipped off that she should look deeper into her file. There was so little there, and yet, Madalena, the Sith Sorceress, knew without a doubt that there was something that could happen here. That the anonymous woman, clad in colors both insides and out, would be a good fit for what she had in mind.

Herah was next. A redheaded witch… Madalena had her doubts about including the witches, initially. When she had commanded combatants in the SOuthern Systems, she had never felt completely comfortable around the Mandragora. Only later did she come to know that this was because of the falsified memories that had made up her first version in this dimension, and the distrust had been planted there by her sister, who had been betrayed by the woman who was the Nightmother at time. But even freed of the emotional baggage of those events, she supposed she had simply never been exposed enough to them. Herah had come on several missions by now, a few of them with Madalena, and she had never given the Head of the Hunt any reason to complain. But now… Now they would see if Herah could not only not give cause to complain, but also give reason to rise.

The Bridesmaid The Bridesmaid . Madalena smiled. She had recruited that one herself, and had been incredibly happy to discover that she was still with the Agents of Chaos after all these months. She'd been a borderline no one from a planet so backwater that she barely knew anything of the galaxy at large. Madalena had known, even in those earlier days, that there was much more that met the eye. That bit by bit, they would remove the onion layers of lack of self confidence and find a mighty warrior underneath.

Then she looked to Judd Hunter Judd Hunter . The smell of his smoke was almost unbearable to her and if he hadn't put it out himself, she would've done so for him. Probably while dangling him over a kilometer above ground with nothing to grab him in the event that she let go.

And last but not least, Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred . The Mandalorian that they had found on Concord Dawn, that they had brought along with many of his available people all the way to the Unknown Regions. The Mandalorian that the promise of a free Mandalore had been given to. He had become a prominent member of Agents of Chaos, a combatant they could count on, and… A trainer of birds.

"Please, be seated," she motioned to those who had not yet. The chairs were spread in a half circle in front of her desk, and once everyone sat down, she herself stood up and walked to the front of it, looking at them all.

"Some of you do not know me Madalena continued, "I am Madalena Antares, and I am the Head of the Wild Hunt of the Agents of Chaos. For the last few months, I have been away, held as a prisoner of war by the Outer Planets Alliance.

I've hand picked each and every one of you for this meeting, because change is upon us."

Madalena waved her hand, and the shutters to the office closed, leaving them in a relatively dark room. Her holomap sprang to life, the skies of the galaxy spreading all around them, planets appearing in between them or sometimes, as was the case of Coruscant and Madalena herself, were half inside their head, visually speaking. Madalena had always loved the sight of the galaxy like that; vast, full of life, and beautiful to behold.

Another click of the button, and colors sprang on the map, marking the territory of each and every interplanetary government. It was hard to miss the red, the purple, the green, and the blue blobs of color, but there were also rising blobs that, for the moment, were much smaller, though those who had kept an eye on them would recognize that once they were even smaller still.

"The galaxy is changing," Madalena continued, "Old factions maintain their strength. New Factions build new strength… And yet, it's all more of the same. Save for the Brynadul threat in the Galactic East, which none of the larger empires have even thought to try to tackle, it's just... "

She sighed.

"We shall shortly embark on a new campaign to tear those factions down," she said, her tone warming up again, "You will all receive the details of it very soon, but I'm here because I think that going for it the way we've been working so far… Has failed. Agents of Chaos are incredibly proud to have managed to push both the Republic and the Grayson Imperium off of Alderaan and Kuat, but that is our only notable win to date. We have lost against the Outer Planets Alliance, we have lost against the Brynadul, and we have taken a few more losses around the center of the galaxy.

This is not because we are not strong. Our strength is not lacking. But strength is not enough, has never been enough, to win wars. To put it bluntly, we might be the Agents of Chaos, but we need better structure when we fight, or will continue to hit full gas on neutral.

And that is precisely why you are all here. Whether you have proven yourself in our missions, or I believe you have potential, you are all here because I believe you need a chance to do something bigger. So I am giving each and every one of you a title. Each of you, will become an Aspect - an Aspect of Destiny, an Aspect of Dream, an aspect of Death, an Aspect of Destruction, an Aspect of Desire, an aspect of Delirium, and an Aspect of Devotion.

As the Aspects, it will be your job to take leadership. We have many combatants - more than enough. Show me what you can do in the upcoming campaigns. I will give you a free hand and budgets for training, weapons, gear, and anything else you might need. By the end of the campaign… Those of you who are still alive, will form the new Council of the Wild Hunt."

I'm a likable guy. Ask your mom.
Judd sighed as he put the ciagrette out on the nice table. This was worse then a cult. A group that just threw bodies at the problem and didn't even have the balls to acknowledge the hypocracy of their words. He'd served under enough leaders with that kind of mind set. He should have just got up and walked out. Instead Judd opened his mouth. More likely an execution moment for him. Not the first time...

"Far be it for me to start poking holes in your little plan ladyship. But you claim you'll aren't about being the strongest, then say go fight for us and may the strongest win. Now I have no doubt the one's smart enough or just lucky enough should lead. But being the survivors isn't much of a way to pick your leaders."

nightmare guised as daydream
At the instructions to sit, Nerium did just that, pulling her feet up to sit cross-legged in the chair before her. She listened to Madalena with curiosity in those mismatched eyes, all while shifting to each of the other attendees every so often. Her attention faded in and out as names, both familiar and otherwise came into play. Republic...Alliance...other names, they all blended together in a way that nearly elicited a yawn.

By the time Judd spoke up, her attention had shifted from people to just about anything else, which presently involved picking at her nails, occasionally tapping a melody on the table. "It could be a fun way, though." she mused, head cocking to the side as she did so. "Weed out the boring, the uncreative." That last word she drew out, putting extra emphasis on the ending consonant as she looked up to make eye contact with Judd directly, less to suggest that he himself was not creative -after all, it'd be rude to make such assumptions about a stranger- but rather to demonstrate that now she was listening. Active listening, what a funny thing that was.

"And these titles," her gaze shifted to Madalena, "have you already assigned them? Or are we picking off the list ourselves?"

Ingrid nods at Madalena Antares, so they have to wait for the others. Until this did not happen, she sit one of the chairs. At least six others are coming. Who were damn different from being guessed at anything. She noted the names; she has never met their majority, so she has to follow these people. The good old minor paranoia; which is needed in her job, if it weren't for her, she would certainly be dead by now.

”Valeria Ragal, aka the Red Witch, bounty hunter.” she introduces herself on her pseudonym as they may know her.

After the formalities Madalena started to speak. Ingrid was aware of the political situation in the galaxy, it was a must for her work, so she totally understood why the other woman said what she said. As she spoke, Ingrid began to realize what it could all be, it was also part of her job, so it wasn’t surprising. As a matter of fact, if she was not mistaken it was a smart move, very smart. Yep, and she was not wrong, a Council. Interesting.

”Do we get a separate task with the ranks, or are they just new aliases for the outside world?” she asked.

This question was more important to her, than the other questions. Actually she could have asked why they were, but this did not seem too important right now…

Hanna watched as Madalena took in every Hunter or Huntress that entered the office. Hanna did so as well, her eyes shifting towards the direction of the voices as almost everyone, save for a man smoking a particularly pungent cigarette, introduced themselves. Nevertheless, Hanna frowned at the man’s counter to Madalena’s orders.

“It’s also a convenient way to weed out the unfaithful.” Hanna added on to the colorful woman’s response. “We wouldn’t want a Hunter on the Council who’s only here as some cowardly soldier-of-fortune, rather than a true believer in our cause.” The diminutive Huntress looked to the towering man with an intense glare of suspicion, but she knew that he wasn’t the only one in the room with potentially questionable loyalties. However, of all the new faces in the room, he had made the worst first impression with Hanna.

“I know many people, both Hunters and otherwise, who truly believe in what we do here. In fact, I see them at least twice a week. If you don’t like our lady’s plan, then there are many others who would be honored to take your place.”

Wait. What?

There was a lot to take in, and for a moment it seemed like every word that came out of Madalena's mouth shocked Morgan even more. A good couple of months ago she barely knew that there was anything else in the galaxy beyond the dump of a city she came from, and now she was take leadership together with these people?

Morgan hastily looked around, trying her best to read the facial expressions of the others. She felt incredibly out of place when she did so. Most of the people she was looking at seemed to be somewhat hardened warriors, or at least professionals.

She was kind of glad when Judd Hunter Judd Hunter spoke up, expressing his opinion. At least there was someone else who wasn't sure about this. It calmed her a little bit, and gave her the false feeling she wasn't alone. That feeling quickly disappeared when both Nerium Nerium , a woman who seemed to be equally as interesting as unnerving, and the woman who introduced herself as the Red Witch seemed to like Madalena's proposition.

Her confidence was entirely shattered when Hanna Hanna started to berate the man. Morgan started doubting herself more with almost every word the woman spoke. 'A cowardly soldier-of-fortune' or 'the unfaithful'. While she wasn't entirely sure what those things meant, she felt incredibly unsure. Was she one of those things?

Morgan started to silently fiddle with her jacket as she continued to read the others' expressions. She definitely felt like she just accidentally stumbled into the creation of a cult which she knew next to nothing about. Eventually she decided to speak, as staying silent wasn't going to help either.

"What does surviving have to do with being faithful or not? It just sounds like an unnecessary way to die. I mean, we're all here for a reason, right? We're all good at something. Why would you want to 'weed out' anyone?"

Morgan definitely had her reasons to be wary. While she was definitely capable with a gun, she was still quite young and most of her skills and general knowledge was nothing compared to probably every single other person in the room.

Jai looked at everyone as they commented after Madalena spoke, his hand against the face of his helmet. He looked at them all again, finally speaking up.

"Would you stop arguing!" He sighed a little, looking at them all. "Look, she said she chose all of us. Trust me. Survival has its place. I... know first hand. And before someone asks how not a road any of use wants to explore. But listen, you think she's expecting you to fail when she's already said what's going on." Jai then sighed a little, realizing something. "S-sorry for yelling everyone."

Madalena waited a breath for the questions to begin. Judd Hunter Judd Hunter was first, questioning pretty much everything. "You are not yet picked as a leader, Mr. Hunter," she explained calmly, "You people here, are not what's left. We have plenty of people in the Wild Hunt and without. But you, are here because after reviewing the files, I believe you may potentially be a leader. Some of you are here for your experience already gathered with the Agents of Chaos, some of you are tested without that. No one is offering a free pass into anything."

Turning to Nerium Nerium , she nodded. "For now, you will all be titled Aspects. Those who make it through to the other end… I have a name in mind for each of you, but if you don't like it you will be able to choose or even create another."

Ingrid L'lerim Ingrid L'lerim 's question followed. "I will be personally handing you out separate tasks in some of the missions," Madalena answered, "In others, you will be expected to show initiation and create ones for yourself and those that surround you."

But when Hanna Hanna spoke, Madalena needed a break. The young woman was beyond an enthusiast and believer in the cause - and Madalena knew exactly where her heart lay. But while her motivation was admirable, Madalena was of a different opinion, that the zeallotness was, while welcome, not mandatory. There were plenty who would fight with them for the opportunity to liberate a place they wanted to, but not want to do the same for other places. And as long as they knew who was who and what was what? Madalena didn't particularly care.

But before she could say anything, to find the diplomatic solution out, Morgan, The Bridesmaid The Bridesmaid , had already spoken, her shock at the words laid out plainly, and Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred soon followed.

"Stop!" Madalena said, her voice amplified by the Force, making sure no one could possibly miss it.

"We have no reason to weed anyone out," she said, rising from the table to stand, "Hannah, your belief in the cause is wonderful, it is admirable, but it is not a requirement. Trust, loyalty, these all play big parts in what is to come. If a soldier of fortune joins us, works with us, and does not betray us, he is welcome to remain with us, grow with us, and even become a leader with us. The Followers of Discordia have their place, but other people do as well."

Walking forward, she stood in front of Hanna, gently placing her hand under her chin in a motherly way, "You are not here because you love Discordia," she said, her voice now much quieter, much gentler, "You are her because you are a rising combatant. You survived being a Prisoner of War with the Outer Planets Alliance and you never broke under interrogation. You held out until they sent you back home, none a morsel of information the wiser. Your love for Discordia gives you the strength, but your actions are your own. I would like to offer everyone else that comes under my wing the same - to have their actions counted as their own."

Madalena gave her another warm smile, and then raised her gaze to look at everyone else.

"We are meeting here because we have an opportunity," she said, "but if any of you do not wish it, you may leave. No harm will come to you and your position will not be harmed."

When she heard the arguing between the questions, she sighed in her helmet so that no one could hear it. Kids! She didn't really know why they were here if they couldn't even behave. She has no doubts Madalena knows the reasons. Rather, she didn't even pay attention to the couple. The answers were more important than the kids. Others asked even more questions, Ingrid nodded when she received the answers. Now she knows more details now.

Trust and loyalty. Loyalty was not a problem to her, but the trust it is. There were only a handful of people she trusted. None of those present were like that, she didn’t even know them. In her job the trust was just a luxury, if someone entrusted it to someone other than her- or himself, maybe that person will die, because someone will betray it. Probably someone she/she trusted. No, working with someone was not the same as trusting her/him. Maybe she can’t trust in others, but she was a good team player.

She had no further questions yet, and she didn’t want to leave, she will accept the position. She believed that this was just the introduction and the essential part was now to come, so she just waits. Now Ingrid remains silent, if he has more information about this whole thing, maybe she will have new questions, but not now. She just waited and let the woman continue the meeting. As long as the others have no further questions for now…

It was Madalena’s thunderous voice that brought an end to the bickering amongst the assembled members of the Wild Hunt. For a brief moment, the room fell silent before the woman stood from her seat and delivered her ultimatum. No one would be weeded out or culled from the herd. Hanna glared at the cigar-reeking mercenary in disapproval, but given the Dark Paladin’s firm resolution, there was little else she could do to express her displeasure. However, when the diminutive Qilin heard Madalena address her, she looked up and gazed attentively into her brilliant emerald eyes. Hanna listened quietly as she spoke, her expression remaining neutral even though she intensely disagreed with her decision to allow the mercenaries a position on the new Council.

As if she had sensed Hanna’s displeasure, Madalena approached her and placed a gentle hand on her chin. Nevertheless, for a few moments, Hanna turned away from her, unable to bring herself to look at the emerald-eyed Huntreess. She had believed that her faith in Discordia was what had brought her not only to the Council, but also out of the clutches of the Outer Planets Alliance and back home at the Scintilla. It was Discordia, the Dark Lady of Chaos, that had seen to her survival when she was on the edge of death. Where she was weak and incapable, Discordia had lent her strength and skill. By technicality, her actions were indeed her own, but it would nevertheless be an extreme act of hubris for her to take sole credit for them.

A singular tear slipped from the diminutive Qilin’s eye when she finally locked eyes with Madalena. She still held deep respect and reverence for the woman, but that did not make the sting of disappointment any less painful. She had taken Hanna under her wing, shielding her when she was all too eager to die in the name of Chaos. Now, Hanna knew that her destiny was to live for Discordia, but also to fight and sacrifice when necessary.

“I’m not leaving.” Hanna resolved as she wiped the tear away from her cheek. “Never.” She continued. “But, how am I supposed to trust these...mercenaries that are always so eager to cut their losses and run at the first sign of hardship? The Thyrsians are offering chests of gold to all who flock towards their banner, the Confederacy pays their mercenaries handsomely, and there is always work in the Darkwire. We are wealthy, and there are few who want in the Scintilla, but when the day comes that an enemy fleet surrounds and lays siege to our home, what will prevent our loyal soldiers-of-fortune from slipping out on the first shuttle that they can find and departing for greener pastures?”

She was glad that they weren't arguing anymore and listened more to what Madalena Antares Madalena Antares then again when she thundered her voice it was hard not to listen to her she saw this place as her family but was disappointed that there was some who thought those here would turn tail and run or would have to remove them to take their place but was pleased that was not the case as she watched everyone's reactions towards her response so far and turned to Hanna Hanna who addressed her concern about people being paid off when the moment is at its most dire, While it was a concern she wasn't sure who would do such a thing and who wouldn't though given Hannah's reaction to being offered to leave and her response she wasn't among those who would turn tail and run.

Neither will she this place is her home and in her eyes these people are her new family that took her in when she had nothing but the clothes on her back and her bow and a few arrows, now she has all the family and gear and chaos she can ever asked for, She wants to hear whateveryone else says first before speaking her piece but for now she will remain quiet and wait and wait and see what everyone else has to say towards Hannas remark.

Morgan curiously looked around, silently watching everything happen. She had an opinion of her own, but it was much more interesting to watch the rest give theirs first. She curiously eyed all of the other participants one by one, eager to know their opinions. Some had already spoken, while others seemed to have chosen to remain silent for now. Hanna Hanna however seemed to express quite the disagreement with what Madalena had said just before. Morgan didn't share the woman's concern or her views, but then again she assumed she wasn't exactly as fanatic as Hanna was. Still, no-one seemed to speak up, so Morgan felt like she had to say something to defend herself and some of the others. She wasn't used to having a serious talk, so she took a little while to choose her words somewhat carefully.

"No one's going to run away", she eventually replied with a sigh. "I'm pretty sure most people here have already fought or maybe even bled for us. Anyone that would run at the first sign of hardship would probably already have done so by now. Plus, why would you deny a good fighter because of a slight chance they'll leave us in the future? Because, from what I've seen so far, that chance is always present, in every single person, regardless of their current ' devotion '."

Right, speech over. The others were better at monologues anyway. That was enough serious talk for a little bit. After all, Morgan still had quite a few doubts herself. While she felt some pride that she was considered good enough to be offered the chance of such a position, she wasn't so sure about whether she deserved it or not. Sure, she'd helped here and there, but she was still incredibly new to all of this. Madalena's offer was definitely interesting but Morgan just couldn't shake the fear that she wasn't up to it yet.
