The Demise of Witty Sam [invite]

Cadan gave a small nod. With a swift movement he raised his gauss rifle and began to pepper the enemy with bullets, hoping to take them by surprise. While he did that he would begin to search for somewhere to take cover from the return fire.

the first shot hit the largest guy in the neck. He fell dead right with the others freezing for a second.

Then both [member="Cadan Tazi"] and [member="Tiro Vanek"] opened their deadly fire. As the bolts rained down on the small group of mercenary guards they threw themselves to the ground. First not realising from where the fire originated from.

the second merc was hit in his stomach. He lay there screaming unable to act on his own.

The tower was protected by a durasteel shield on all four sides. Protection was good from up here.
The third guard was hit in his head. He dropped dead without a noise. The fourth was sprayed across his legs and immobilised.

Then the two remaining mercs turned, realising where the fire came from. In kneeling positions they tried to back away as they fired a few shots toward the tower. The lasers shots were unprecise, passing by it or onto the durasteel construction.

With two more accurate shots from Cadan and Tiro each, the men fell to the ground. The process had been bloody and loud but effective. Left on the ground was the corpses of four guards and two wounded. One dying and the other crippled. Their screams echoing through the forest and most likely into the open bunker.
Perhaps as proof of that the blaster proof door started to close up. From the position in the tower neither could see it since the gate was bellow them. but both Cadan and Tiro could hear its rusty devices grind the gate closed.
It was a slow proces with wheels turning bit within a minute or so the bunker would be shut down anew.

Tiro cursed under his helmet. He certainly didn't expect there to be so many security precautions in place. As the door shut itself tight, Tiro looked over to Cadan and gave him a short shrug.

“So. Any ideas as to how to get in?”

Cadan thought about the idea then looked down to his wrist where his M99 Rocket system was mounted. He held up his left arm so Tiro could see. "Perhaps this would work?"

Cadan knew that the door was probably very well built, but this may their only chance and Cadan didn't want to go back to Sempra empty handed.

Tiro eyed Cadan's gadget. It could work, but such a heavily fortified door could deflect anything up to a Pulse Cannon. But Tiro was willing to try anything at this point.

"How about we shoot them simultaneously? Bigger bang."

Cadan nodded. He then began to move into position. Hoping to not come under any fire.

Once in place he would outstretch his left arm and point it at the door. With the press of a button his rocket would fire sending the projectile flying towards the heavy door. Upon impact the missile would explode leaving a fiery and smokey cloud. Whether the move had been successful would show once the cloud had cleared.

Tiro aimed the length of his arm towards the door and shot a his wrist mounted rocket towards the door. The missile flew through the air leaving a transparent mist in it's wake.

If one rocket wasn't enough, two had to be...

The missile hit the door with a sound explosion! Smoke and dirt rushed outward covering the entrance for some time before the dust settled down.

The doorway was breached and the bunker lay open. Inside awaited the now panicing sam, once called witty.

A smile crossed Cadan's face as he looked to the ruined door. He began to advance before the dust could settle. "Come now friend, we 'ave a person to catch." There was almost a skip in Cadan's step.

As he proceeded Cadan was constatnly scanning the paths ahead for any signs of danger.
