The Dark Queen- Darth Virelia — The sovereign ruler and embodiment of the Dark Court’s will. All authority stems from her. She governs through cunning, charisma, and unrelenting control. To the Court, she is both ruler and religion.
- The Queen’s chosen lieutenants, each governing one of seven domains:
- Pride — Dominion & Law
- Greed — Wealth & Industry
- Wrath — War & Punishment
- Envy — Espionage & Secrets
- Lust — Diplomacy & Influence
- Gluttony — Science & Alchemy
- Sloth — Management & Continuity
- Exarchs are semi-autonomous lords commanding fleets, armies, and sectors in the Queen’s name. Their rivalry fuels progress and keeps the empire sharp.
- The noble backbone of the realm. Dukes govern territories, worlds, and fleets under the Exarchs’ authority from the shadows. They are administrators, generals, and rulers whose influence transforms decrees into action.
- Dukes owe loyalty, soldiers, and tribute to their superiors — power through usefulness defines survival.
- The elite of the Court. Knights serve as Force-wielders, duelists, alchemists, sorcerers and everything in between — the living hands of the nobility.
- Knighthood is earned, not inherited. Knights may serve directly under an Exarch, Duke, or even the Queen herself.
- The foundation of the Court: workers, soldiers, droids, and servants who sustain the empire’s hunger for labor and production. Though powerless, they may rise through merit — the Queen’s doctrine allows the worthy to ascend.

Description
The Dark Court is an independent Sith society — a feudal dominion forged in secrecy and sustained through absolute order. It is ruled by Darth Virelia, the Dark Queen, whose reign unites alchemists, soldiers, nobles, and zealots under one design: to corrupt the Galaxy and bring about the ‘Dark Ages.’The Court is built upon structure and ambition. From the Exarchs who rule entire sectors to the peasantry who toil in its foundries, every being has a role and every failure a consequence. The hierarchy is clear, but the path to ascension is open to all who prove worthy. Ambition is the crucible from which power is forged.
Politically, the Dark Court blends Sith autocracy with feudal decentralization. Exarchs and Dukes govern their territories as vassal-kings, maintaining their own fleets and armies in service to the Queen’s greater design. Militarily, it fields a diverse force of alchemically enhanced soldiers, synthetic legions, and independent fleets unified by the Fourth Legion, the Queen’s standing army.
Even if these Dukes may rule, they do so from the shadows, pulling the strings of local planetary governments and brainwashing entire populations to be tools of the secretive hands of the Dark Court.
The Pitch
The Dark Court deserves Major Faction status because it offers something distinct, structured, and sustainable: a living, shadowy feudal empire for Sith and Dark-aligned characters to thrive within — politically, militarily, and narratively.The Dark Court’s success lies in its design — a structured but open framework that encourages writers to take initiative, form rivalries, and build enduring legacies under one cohesive banner. The faction has shown much success in its threads and going to major will allow us to interact with the other powers on the map, continue to build on the greater story of the Dark Court all the while giving our writers the space to build and create amazing narratives and be given the tools necessary to do so.
To further demonstrate our activity, we even have smaller dedicated factions within the Dark Court already, the primary example being the Queen’s Guard.
All in all, with a lovely, active and passionate community who are seeking to build a new and extremely unique Sith faction, we believe that the Dark Court has shown that we would be a fun and exciting addition to the board.
