PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Lyssa has light green skin and a sharp jawline with prominent cheekbones. Her almond shaped eyes are a fiery red rimmed with yellow (like Vader's) and are smeared messily with black eyeshadow. Her lips are painted black as well, and she sports complicated geometric tattoos. On her cheeks she has three triangles which form the shape of an arrow pointing away from her nose. On her forehead she has a crown of diamond shaped tattoos which taper to a point to fill the space between her eyebrows. On her hands she has three diamonds in an arrow shape pointing down. Her hair is mostly black save for a singular streak of white snaking its way through the french braid that she does it up in. Her clothing is very traditional for a sith, she wears a hooded cloak over deep black robes. She wears a black leather belt that is embossed with metal. Underneath her floor length robes, she has metal legs which she doesn't bother to cover with shoes. They make a soft clanking sound when she walks.

INVENTORY

Lyssa has:

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Lyssa is fuelled by rage, hatred and a need for revenge against the Jedi, in particular her father, however other individuals often experience vicious outbursts from her for seemingly no reason. She is sensitive, and cannot take any form of constructive criticism. She is almost always angry, and in the rare moments when she isn't, she remains somewhat bitter and sarcastic, her anger bubbling just below the surface. The only time when she is ever truly at peace is when she is flying, or when she is with her mother, Iselda, who knows better than to criticise her or provoke her. For that reason, Lyssa will not hear a word against Iselda or her profession, and Lyssa has also vowed never to kill any woman who has a child. It is the only rule that she follows.

STRENGTHS

Pike master:
Lyssa is reasonably good with a normal, single bladed lightsaber, as she was trained to use one by her father. However, her speciality is her ability to wield a lightsaber pike with deadly accuracy and precision. Her mastered technique of using the pike is a combination of form seven (Juyo), form one (Shii-Cho) and the martial traditions of the kaleesh, whom she spent three years with. Lyssa prides herself on this unique lightsaber form, she calls it Ikari, the way of the Acklay, which in her arrogance she has appointed to being the eighth lightsaber form.

Ace Pilot:
Lyssa loves flying. She has always been naturally gifted at it and is easily able to execute complex maneuvers that many other pilots would not even dream of. This is mostly due to her using the force to aid her abilities, and guide the shots she takes to always hit their mark. She is also very knowledgable about ships, in particular her own ship, which she is fiercely protective of.

Doppelganger:
Lyssa's father spent a lot of time teaching her and her sister the force technique known as doppelganger (similfuturus). As a result, she is very proficient at it, able to create perfect, illusionary copies of herself. These self duplicates are her speciality, but she is also very good at creating replicas of objects and other people once she has had a moment to examine them.

WEAKNESSES

Explosive anger:
As Lyssa's anger and hatred grows, so does her ability to use the force in increasingly dangerous ways. When she gets angrier, she begins to lose control of her powers. Things often explode around her as she accidentally uses force combustion (flamusfracta) and should she feel backed into a corner, she will release crimson lightning which is incredibly self destructive. These abilities often cause her serious injuries and a lot of physical and mental pain.

Tunnel vision:
Lyssa is blinded by hatred and anger in every fight she has, every interaction she has, and every worldview she holds. She is obsessed with her goal of getting revenge and consistently fails to see the bigger picture in many situations in which a little wisdom would be beneficial.

Cybernetic:
While Lyssa's robotic legs have some advantages (the ability to hide weapons, and to magnetise to metal floors) they have many more disadvantages. Due to the clanking sounds they make, stealth is difficult for Lyssa. Furthermore, her mobility and ability to use acrobatics are hindered. Also, she has to be careful what environment she is in to avoid sand, snow or dirt getting into her joints and causing mechanical problems.

HISTORY

Lyssa's father, Heru Cluada, was a jedi who grew tired of the order, believing it to be limiting his power. So he left, however his quest for power was cut short by a starship accident that left him with a permanently damaged ribcage. Unwilling to give up on his dreams of power, however, he sought out a prostitute on Mirial to give birth to his child whom he could raise to be his apprentice. However, the prostitute in question, Iselda Myrin, suprised him by giving birth to identical twin girls. She named them Liriel and Lyssa, their names meaning perfect rage when put together, which was how Iselda felt about the fact that she would never see them again. Heru raised the two on Kalee, treating them less as daughters and rather as students. He encouraged them to try and solve problems with the local, warring kaleesh population, which he thought would help his daughters to grow tough. He judged both of them harshly, however it was clear he favoured his eldest daughter. This caused a rivalry between the sisters and Lyssa in particular grew to hate her sister. When the time came for Heru to choose which twin would be his padawan, he chose Liriel. Filled with fury and jealousy, Lyssa ignited her lightsaber and in one quick motion murdered her sister. She triumphantly told her father that he had no choice now but to train her instead. In this moment, Heru realised the error he made raising the twins. So, he ignited his own saber and cut off both of Lyssa's legs, and then cut her saber in half, damaging her kyber crystal. He left her to bleed out, but Lyssa was in luck. A kaleesh warrior found her and took her back to his village, where the shaman used ancient, medicinal techniques to bring her back from the brink of death. These medicines are what created the white streak in her hair. Once she had come to, the shaman explained that the reason she was saved was because the warrior wanted her to be his wife. Wishing to survive, Lyssa accepted. She lived as the kaleesh's wife for three years, building rudimentary wooden legs for herself and learning how to fight with a shoni spear in the traditional kaleesh way. In secret, she took her broken crystal and made a lightsaber pike for herself. Eventually, she built up enough trust that her husband let her contact the outside world. She immediately contacted her mother, who came with a stolen shuttle and a gun. Under the cover of night, Lyssa and Iselda slaughtered the entire village. Iselda then took Lyssa back to Mirial, and had her wooden legs replaced with robotic ones. She also gave her the shuttle and her blessing to seek revenge on her father, and that is what Lyssa has been attempting to do ever since.
