The sun rest in a lofty cradle over Jutrand, castling long, artful shadows throughout synth streets and techno modular homes. Srina was buried up to her elbows in the dirt while kneeling amongst carefully potted plants that seemed to have been collected from all over the verse. Few would expect the enigmatic woman to spend time doing something pedestrian, but those who knew her well would find horticulture perfectly within her wheelhouse.

Her private quarters were a sanctum of solitude. A place of respite—And ingenuity.

"Welcome...", she began, her voice a melodic contrast to the dangerous beauty that surrounded her. Srina was expecting an emissary from Korriban to aid her in re-structuring the Sith Academy on Jutrand. It wasn't that the tutelage was subpar in the capital. It just wasn't what she envisioned would bring the Sith of their era into the future. Darth Empyrean Darth Empyrean wanted to see them take initiative without being told or having their hands held. This endeavor might give them the strength to do so. "I'll be with you momentarily…But it would be wise not to touch anything barehanded. Do not do as I do."

It was a familiar warning.

There wasn't a single petal in her grove that didn't have some sort of effect. For better or worse some poisons were so fast-acting that a medi-team could only hope to arrive in time. Even then, discerning which poison was the culprit would have been nearly impossible. Srina was only able to tolerate it through exposure. She hardened her immune response by inoculating herself.

For all her strengths—Srina was not her husband. She was still mortal. That came with fallacies and the inherent transience of being near-human. The Echani understood assassins had been sent for her head before, likely, to destabilize the Emperor…But Srina knew of only one way to try and safeguard against it. Slowly, but surely, make herself impervious. She had the strength and physical prowess to win nearly any test of martial superiority…But what defense had she against silent and virtually undetectable killers?

Those which could not be detected?

Between that and her alchemical pursuits, it only made sense that she maintained a proper botanical suite. Her garden was a spectacle of deadly elegance; vibrant but with venomous flowers blooming with an intensity that seemed almost unnatural. Their colors were exceedingly vivid against the backdrop of dark soil and the surrounding onyx architecture. Her guest would find rare and exotic plants, each with their own secret, lining generous paths, and often illuminated by the soft glow of bioluminescent fungi.

Clad in attire that merged functional with regal, Srina wore a sleek, form-fitting ensemble that had been tailored to allow ease of movement. The fabric, dark as the void, was accented with subtle motifs that echoed the shapes and patterns of the flora surrounding her. Her gloves, durable yet elegant, were designed to handle even the most venomous in her nursery without sacrificing the precision of physical touch. Srina found contentment, here. It was a delicate state of being.

Thrown amidst cruelty and nurturing.

Inviting—Yet perilous.

Eventually…She finished potting and brushed her gloves off carefully. Even the soil could be acidic. Golden orbs lifted from her work to lay on a rather familiar creature. It was not entirely whom she had expected, but, not an unwelcome surprise. There was a streak of dirt smudged across a flawless cheek and her nailbeds were caked with it. "You have journeyed long…"

"May I offer something to ease the effects?"

Many individuals suffered from hyperspace sickness. It would be remiss of her not to ask. Obviously, however, the Empress would send for it. Until her hands were decontaminated and her clothing changed, she wouldn't dare get too close to her guest.
