DESCRIPTION
The Consul's Ward is suspended primarily from the shoulders and upper torso, leaving the biceps and inner thighs exposed while protecting the triceps, chest, forearms, hips, and shins. This configuration preserves full range of motion in the arms and hips. Articulated tassets shield the hips and upper pelvis, while the kama conceals the thighs without restricting movement or stance. The base armor plates were drawn from standard DAF armory stock. On their own, the materials are conventional military alloys. What distinguishes the Consul's Ward is the refinement process that followed. Prior to final assembly, Diarch Rellik personally authorized the transfer of the armor to his personal collection where he gave the armor its finer details personally.

This work did not involve Force imbuement or ritual alchemy. Instead, it focused on controlled material refinement: pressure cycling, resonant heat conditioning, and internal reinforcement.

These processes strengthen the metal's resistance to kinetic shock, reduce vibration transfer from sonic impacts, and limit material fatigue that could compromise structural integrity or environmental seals. The armor gains no exotic properties and does not approach beskar or Kov'dra equivalence. It remains durasteel pushed to the upper limits of what careful craftsmanship can achieve.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• Ballistic-Optimized Armor Architecture:
  Constructed to absorb and distribute physical impact, shrapnel, and blunt-force trauma common in kinetic-heavy warfare.
  
  
  Sonic Dampening Construction:
  Internal material layering and density reduce resonance transfer and structural shock caused by sonic weapons and high-energy impact waves.
  
  
  Sealed Undersuit Interface:
  A skin-tight undersuit synchronizes all armor components into a unified system. While the armor plates themselves are not airtight, the undersuit enables full environmental sealing when paired with the helmet submission.
  
  
  Tasset and Kama Assembly:
  Articulated tassets protect the hips and upper pelvis. A layered kama conceals the thighs without rigid plating, preserving stride length and rotational freedom.

STRENGTHS

• Extreme Kinetic Resistance:
  Highly effective against slugthrowers, shrapnel, explosive overpressure, blunt-force trauma, and physical impacts.
  
  Extreme Sonic Resistance:
  Resistant to sonic cannons, vibration-based weapons, and concussive shock effects.
  
  Extreme Poison Resistance:
  The sealed undersuit and filtration systems render most chemical, biological, and contact-based toxins ineffective while system integrity is maintained.

WEAKNESSES

• Minimal Energy Resistance:
  The armor provides only the inherent protection of durasteel against blaster fire. Direct blaster impacts are expected to penetrate with sufficient force, consistent with Clone Wars–era armor performance. Defense against energy weapons relies primarily on positioning, movement, and lightsaber technique. The Kama surrounding the legs also gives some defense but nothing above standard blasters.
  
  Lightsaber Vulnerability:
  The armor offers no meaningful protection against lightsabers. Sustained or direct contact will breach plating.
  
  Seal Dependency:
  Poison resistance is contingent on the integrity of the undersuit and its connection points. Airborne threats requiring respiration control are handled by the helmet system, submitted separately.
