STRENGTHS
- Really Bloody Fast: Courtesy of the Jumpmaster Deluxe Hyperdrive, the Conestoga sports an absolutely ridiculous 0.33 hyperdrive rating. Clearly the professor is making up for all those public transport shuttle trips that would take weeks to arrive at their destination.
- Plot Armor: Between the military-grade shielding and the matrix/durasteel hull, she won't be blasted to bits any time soon.
- Trust Me, I'm a Doctor: The Conestoga's medbay requires no medical personnel to operate. It can treat up to ten people simultaneously, including performing complex surgery on a variety of species, using fully automated bacta tanks and surgical pods.
- Lawyers, Guns, and Money: The Conestoga retains all of its original eight-centuries-old armaments. We don't even know if some of these guns still work properly. Uninterested in space battles, Nimdok doesn't place much value or priority on having them replaced, repaired, or even regularly maintained. (In other words, if this vessel does try to fire its weapons, it's a roll of the dice, baby.)
- Old Girl: The Conestoga, while (mostly) updated and fully operational, is an older vessel with some outdated technology remaining. She is thus more likely to suffer from mechanical errors, software failures, and general issues. Sometimes at the most inopportune times.
- Ion: Getting hit with ion-based weaponry will disable the ship's shields. In such a scenario, its only defense will be its armored hull.
After spending the past few years utilizing painfully slow, annoying, uncomfortable public transportation, Nimdok finally bought a ship of his own. Well, that's not exactly correct. Someone else with more money and resources purchased it on his behalf, as well as paying for the upgrades and modifications. She was also the one who insisted on the fancy medbay out of concern for the reckless archaeologist's health. Nimdok just wanted the ship to be fast and have enough space for his artifacts.
