Coruscant, a planet of lights, life, and luxury. A planet where those of the upper class have not a care in the words, even so shortly after the Gulag plague. The people of Coruscant seemed to care for nothing, they went about their daily lives in their grand city. Some worked, some partied, some did both. Coruscant was a world of dreams, some of those dreams were nightmares, and others were just plain fantasy. No matter what however, Coruscant was considered safe. No force in the universe could threaten Coruscant, The Republic protected it, its fleets guarding against all invaders. All but one of course, a threat that they could never foresee.
As always the planet of Coruscant was alight, people were gathered, lights were shinning and everyone was active as always. The greatest marketplace in the universe was a bustle with activity, massive crowds were gathered shopping at dozens of stores. Husbands, wives, children and hundreds of others walked around the central hub of activity. They were entirely lost within their own little worlds, the lights of Coruscants artificial sun shinning brightly. Suddenly something flickered. The lights of the exchange flashed and burned out, the screens blackening for a few seconds then coming back. The crowds stopped, and silence fell over the entire area. They watched as the lights went out, slowly each and every bulb burning into blackness.
Coruscant was in one massive wave plunged into absolute darkness. Every screen, every sign, everything that emitted even an ounce of light was was suddenly shut off. Speeders and ships fell from the sky, travel lanes shut down, entire buildings were thrown into chaos. Coruscant became darkness, a world filled with screams of terror and doubt. The planet was plunged into absolute disarray in a matter of second.
For almost an hour, nothing happened. Engineer's tried to restore power, police attempted to keep order, soldiers were deployed planet wide, and families huddled together. Then, after what seemed like an age had passed, a flicker of activity appeared on the holo-net screens around the world. Every device capable of playing video or emitting a sound was suddenly switched back on. An image appeared on them, hundreds of thousands of screen began to play the same message, each one spewing a voice of pure dread and terror, each one showing a machine with a red eye staring at the denizens of Coruscant.
32colorsGIF.gif
Then Coruscant was plunged into darkness once again. For a brief few minutes all one could see on the world of Coruscant were the star's in the sky, then something broke within the world. The ground shook, several hundred buildings across the city well apart. From them dispersed massive clouds of black. They spewed forth, filling the sky and blackening out what little light remained from the skies above.
The cloud simmered and shifted, moving about as if it were alive. Coruscant Security shined lights upon the clouds, massive search lights powered by independent power sources. The spotlight illuminated the cloud and revealed it for what it was. Millions upon millions of black winged droids floated within the skies. Their red-orange eyes looked down onto the planet, the droids stared at the world below each one watching and waiting for a command. The cloud stared downward, and then a sound broke the sky.
All across Coruscant a massive droning broke the sky, and the cloud began to rain down on the world of Coruscant. Millions of droids fell from the sky, swooping down and beginning a slaughter of untold proportions.
Coruscant was not the only world however. Every major capital began to swarm with droids. Dromund Kaas, Corellia, Fondor. Every world with a size able population met the ire of Omni. Trillions of droids streamed into the galaxy like a black mass rending the heavens.

The Works

"See, here's the problem...", the figure says with sugary sweetness. Leering eyes of smoking ghostly blue leered from the shadows of the reigning darkness the planet had plunged into. Disciple had seen this once before, centuries before: he knew how this began, and how it ended.

He'd helped the last time, after all.

Placing a finger to the lips of the bound crime lord in front of him, Disciple giggles not unlike a schoolgirl as he points a clawed finger to the sky.

"Do you know what that is? Hrm? Do you."

Oh this would be good.

"That, my friend. That's progress."

Cackling some more, he leaves the room. Behind him, one of the more notorious underworld crime lords on Coruscant lay bound with his entourage on the floor of a dilapidated water treatment plant.

They'd be left to the droids.

Was Disciple safe? Probably not. But one didn't simply create Omni and not know how he worked.

Clapping with giddy delight, he vanishes into thin air to stalk off and watch as Chaos reigned.

Zev stood in the headquarters of Stargo Enterprise, his eyes no longer the emerald green jewels they once were. The old man's eyes were now dark yellow blades that sliced through everything he gazed at. Coruscant's bright lights were darkened by the presence of the millions of droids that came swarming from no where, their forms prompting horrifying shrieks from the planet that pierced through the sound proofing of Zev's office. In the back of his mind he could feel it, this was the beginning of his dream. It was time for true freedom to reign over the galaxy and destroy these feeble governments that claimed to keep peace while only enforcing their own oppressive agendas.

He spun around slowly and faced down the image of this one called Omini , who was plastered all over every channel. His voice rang into Zev's head, he told of how the plague was only the first step in his mission...the mission that Zev was destined to accomplish. This droid, he was here to help Zev, he was a god here to help his prophet in the restoration of true peace and personal freedoms. Slowly Zev took a cigar from his pocket and lit the stick of tabac, placing in his mouth for a long puff.

"Finally, the time for action has arrived."

The angel droids swooped across Coruscant, firing down on the soldiers who dared to stand out in the streets. Zev watched the mayhem as he walked through the streets, his golden eyes seeing visions of flames and destruction. Behind thunderous clanks echoed off the streets as legions of droids followed in flawless unison with Zev. Each droid had been hidden away in the Stargo Enterprise headquarters and outposts throughout the planet, and were now out to wreck havoc on this pitiful excuse for a democracy. In the front marched the tall B2 Super battledroids, their arms pinned to their chest as they awaited to kill many Republicans. Behind them were their lesser counterparts, the B1s and scattered among them were the ever deadly P series drodikas. For now the thousand or so droids were his only army, but soon his orders would reach Syndicate Space and the true fight would begin.

On step at a time Zev lead his troops down the velvet carpet to the interior of the senate building, its outer guards had already retreated inside or been dispatched by the angels droids. The sounds of death inched ever closer to the Senate Buildings doors as the droids followed their mobster commander. Calmly Zev took a cigar from his pocket and stopped in the middle of the large room, his droids marching past him, closing in on the door. Zev stuck the cigar in his mouth and lit it, blowing a huge plum of smoke into the air, watching the droids in the front fire a series of rockets at the door, blowing it into a cloud of swirling dust.

Unbelievable. Simply outright outrageous. Never in a millenia would've the Senator of Kuat would've guessed that such a thing could've happened. But it did. It had happened in a matter of minutes. In mere seconds, almost all of the powers in the Galactic City went out. The brilliant lights of Courascant had faded, the usual humming of the city's air traffic came to a halt, to be replaced by darkness and shouts and screams of panic as it spread like wildfire throughout the Galactic Republic's capital.

And within one single hour, the heart of the Galactic Republic was in serious trouble. The Senate did not even have the time to call a state of emergency, much less to even evacuate the Senate Building. Millions upon millions of deadly droids rained down upon the Galactic City, slaughtering people in uncomprehendable numbers. This was an outright disaster. When the Senate Building's senate dome suddenly became total consumed by darkness, the Senate went into a panic. As far as Brunswick was concerned, some senators were probably still in the unlit Senate Dome, trying to find their way out of the exit. Senator Brunswick had been lucky. He had managed to find an exit quite quickly, but he had no real clue on how others were doing. Hopefully the Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor were still okay. As he crawled out into the dark corridor of the building, he saw a Senate guard running towards him, looking quite battered.

"Sir! You must leave! This building is under attack-" The guard's words were cut short when the entrance door behind the guard suddenly blew up, consuming the poor man in combustion and immiediate death. What stood behind the now destroyed door were simply frightening. Legions upon legions of battle droids, all aiming their weapons in his direction. This was bad, bad, bad. Senator Brunswick quickly dashed as fast he could to the wall, in which there was a control panel located. He quickly pushed a button, which caused a door to suddenly shut right infront of him, thankfully between him and the droids. With another push of a button, alarm started sounding throughout the Senate Building. Brunswick knew that it was a matter of mere seconds until the droids simply destroyed the door infront of them again. He had no weapons with him, and not pausing to catch his breath, Darren Brunswick dashed quickly to his office, where he knew he had his pistol in one of his cabinets, as well as his keys to his personal starship.

Zev calmly walked into the senate building as he droids began the onslaught of the Republicans inside. Drawing his pistol he looked around as plasma rounds sizzled through the air. His droidikas had activated their shields and begun a slow march towards a group of senate guards who had stacked up at the far left of Zev's position. It was magnificent, when one droid would burst into flames from an impact ten others would storm up to replace him. As Zev stood watching, cigar and pistol in hand, a senate guard burst through a door in the wall directly in front of him. He didn't make it two steps before Zev laid into him with his pistol, the plasma bolts tearing through his armor and scorching his internal organs.

Zev strolled over, releasing another plume of smoke from his mouth. The man was still squirming in pain, so Zev finished him off with two pinpoint shots into his T zone. Zev turned, his face emotionless, when a command droid walked up to him. He was an OOM series commander droid of the B1 series, very effective in combat situations as they possessed very capable tactical planning programs.

"Mr. Stargo, our troops are advancing further inwards and Senator Brunswick is reported as to fleeing Eastward into the building." the droid notified as it saluted Stargo

Zev nodded as he took another puff of his cigar before tossing it to the side "Good Commander, very good. Execute all the senators you find, freedom demands it." each droid had already been updated with the profiles of every Republican senator

The droid looked at him as it processed the info "Roger sir, what of Brunswick?" the droid inquired as it formulated the plan

"Where did he go?" Zev asked, wanting specifics

The droid pointed to the door Brunswick ran through "through that blast door sir."

Zev nodded as he looked at the door "Have your men blow the door, I'll take two B2s and deal with him." Zev had a bone to pick with the senator responsible for laws that had caused trouble for his business

"Roger sir."

Brunswick would audibly hear the loud shrieks and shouts of pain along with the sound of blaster fires as he quickly ran to the eastern wing of the building, where his personal office was hopefuly still intact from the droid attacks. He blinked slightly in suprise when he suddenly heard an announcement from within his comlink, telling him that the Republic's officials were retreating to Kuat for the time being.

Senator Brunswick was panting heavily by the time that he had reached his office. This side of the building was the darkest part of the building, and it was almost in complete darkness that the Kuati senator had to feel his way into his office. The corridors were strangely silent, except for the clinking sound that unmistakenably belonged to the battle droids that must be marching inwards to finish off every living soul in the building. He did not bother closing his door as he entered his office, and quickly tried to fumble through his cabinet, looking for his blaster and starship keys. He tried to do this as quietly as possible, and while he searched for his items, he could hear the droids coming ever closer to his office.

In his cabinet, he found more than what he was looking for: an EMP grenade, which would effectively shut down at least a good half a dozen battle droids. Brunswick soon found his keys and blasters, then quickly applied full ammo to his blasters. Brunswick knew that it was too risky to try and get out of the building at that point. Whoever was behind this would make sure all of his targest were killed. So Brunswick came back out into the dark hall ways, where he hid himself among the shadows of a statue of a chancellor that served long ago. He waited, paitently, his heart beating furiousely, his blaster aimed squarely at the entrance door to the corridor.

Zev marched down the hallway, two super battle droids at his flanks. The Eastern Wing was dark and very silent, most of the senators must have fled from this section of the building before his legions got here. No matter, if there were any living souls in the building still, they would not be living for very much longer...the droids would make sure of that. As he marched, his two droids scanning for lifeforms in every room, he began to rethink his actions. Had he done the right thing by marching into the senate building? Yes..maybe at least he thought he was right. Either way it didn't matter now, it was to late to turn back even if he was planning to.

Zev's transmitter buzzed in his pocket and he grabbed it as he continued to walk "Mr. Stargo, our troops have entered the council chambers. We have found some senators inside and they are being dealt with."

"Outstanding Commander, call me when the building is clear."

"Roger, roger" the droid echoed back just as Zev and his droids walked through a door into a dark corridor, where a statue of the chancellor sat immortalized. Zev thought nothing of it, until his droids stopped and buzzed a warning

"Target has been identified" The droids growled in a deep robotic tone as they deployed the blasters in their wrists at the statue.

It had been perhaps fortunate that the Supreme Chancellor had not been in the rotunda when the trouble began. She was however in her private study directly below the Senate room.
At first the power went out, but she was not unduly worried. Her room had a private, self sufficient generator which kicked into life and brought the lights and power back on. It was then that the ground shook, the power died again, and one of her guards pointed out.
"Look!"
Aurelia turned, and in the grand window she saw explosions. She saw chaos, she saw a danger greater than any she had witnessed before. At first her mind thought it was Sith, but then she saw her attackers. Droids.

The message from the creature Omni was still in her mind, and she knew this was a threat to all.

"We're leaving," she ordered her guards. They went to the door but it was locked. Fortunately, it contained a manual interior gear to open the door for just this eventuality. It took precious moments to open the door, and by that time the building above was filled with screams and the sound of blasters. Aurelia did not turn a backward glance as she walked through the halls, aiming for a private hanger the Chancellor had in case rapid escape was needed. As she walked she picked up her comm.
"This is Chancellor Saelari, I need assistance. I am heading to Hanger 14." She had faith in the encryption of this network, which only members of the Jedi Council and high military had access to. But...behind them the trap was closing.
"Chancellor, this is Jedi Master Wraith, I will meet you there," a voice came back.
Aurelia nodded, relieved.

But then, from behind, a noise, a blaster opened fire, and one of her guards fell. "Go, Chancellor!" the guards ordered, most staying back to defend her. Only two came with her into Hanger 14.
But when they got there...they found that either their enemy had intercepted the call, or had been prepared, as many machines were there...waiting.
One of her guards only had time to shove her into cover before he was cut down. The other fired as best he could, but there were at least twenty of the abominations and it could not go on for long....

Aurelia tensed, waiting to do...something, her hand drifting to her side where perhaps she had something concealed. It was time for a last stand....

Spencer sat in the middle of her room with her Master. @[member="Phylis Alince"] had woken her up rather early so she was trying to stuff her face in peace. The woman seemed to enjoy waking her up early to get to training right away. Spencer continued to shovel food into her mouth as she glanced every once and awhile towards her Master. She enjoyed being around her despite the constant mornings of training. The woman knew what she was talking about and learning from her as well as Ashin Varanin, it helped fueled the growth of the Padawan.

“Master, what do you have scheduled on your oh so exciting training?”

As the snarky padawan grinned happily and attempted to shovel in another bit of food, the temple rocked hard as if it had crashed into something. The food went flying and the bowl of cereal flipped and splashed the milk all over Spencer as she fell of her seat. Looking up at Phylis she frowned and threw her spoon at the Knight.

“What the Force was that?! Frak I didn’t know Id upset you that much! I like your training sheesh!”

Phylis winced as the spoon hit her on the forehead. "Ow...that wasn't me!" Phylis protested.

Suddenly she grasped her forehead. "Something very bad is happening, Spencer. We need to go now." She'd never been quite so insistent before. She left it quite clear that she was the one in charge here.

Calling her lightsabre to her from where it had been sitting, Phylis led Spencer outside. They could see the flames, the explosions, and they could see the onslaught. "They are coming, @[member="Spencer Jacobs"]. We need to evacuate the younglings at once. Come with me."

As the sounds of the oncoming droids drew ever closer, Brunswick dared to steal another quick glance at the window in his office, in which he had left his door open. Courascant was in chaos, and he felt slightly in panic. What could this mean? If someone told him that it was the end of the world, he'd have believed it. More than likely, the Galactic Republic was in a state of emergency. Which meant, ofcourse, extra powers were given to the now "Supreme" Chancellor. Suddenly, he heard someone speak, almost right ahead of it.

"Mr. Stargo, our troops have entered the council chambers. We have found some senators inside and they are being dealt with."
"Outstanding Commander, call me when the building is clear." said a voice that he recognized.
Zev Stargo? Could it be? That old CEO of Kuat Drive Yard's rival company? Leading an assault on the Senate? In a normal day underneath the artificial sun of Courascant's Galactic City, Brunswick would've had a good laugh on it with his fellow senators. But as of now, his fellow senators were slightly occupied with getting slaughtered by battle droids, and he was currently hiding behind a statue, trying to not get killed.

"Target has been identified" Darren Brunswick immiediately took out his EMP grenade. All hell broke loose within a second, as what he was able identify as B2 super battle droids starting firing away at where he was, and the Kuati senator tossed his EMP grenade at the droids. Hopefully the grenade would take down the two droids, and will also stun Zev a bit.

Alli Wren loved to meddle, when she heard of this attack from her sources, She couldn't believe the fact that her 'ally' was going to attack the senate, her ships watched as he deployed they were going to arrive late but better late then never. She smirked as she hacked all channels of communication in the senate building. " This is Alli Wren with Baktoid Industries, please find a safe exit and inform me of it, and I shall have an evac in minutes, We are here to assist against Stargo Industries, but my scans you have bigger problems. Please inform me where my droids can assist. We have the Senate hall covered, republic foces can concentrate elsewhere." Her droid carriers had come in handy to have built as she suddenly hundreds of her own droids, the latest and greatest in Baktoid Industries Tech began descending on the Senate hall, Droid fighters, began to fight the flying droids of omni, distracting them as landers deployed hundreds of her own Mark 2 Droidika's and other models as they began battle with Stargo's own droids. She awaited for a radio of some postion to save someone. Alli hated when friends turned out to go crazy... it seemed the CSA wasn't meant to be.

Keter

The Renegade
Keter sat in his chair in his chamber in Dis, his fingers steepled in front of his face as he watched the message again and again on his workstation. He could have played it on his eyes, but he wouldn't have put it past the AI to have programmed in some sort of subliminal code into the message to corrupt any machinery that came in contact with it. His red eyes glowed in the gloom as he smiled slightly. Barnabus was already clearing out the memory banks of his Fury and data storage, making sure nothing had been potentially infected. AI were tricky things, and made a poor audience. But the story it was weaving...it was gripping.

Fortunately, Keter knew that he and his family were safe. Dis was located on a forgotten moon deep in the Outer Rim, a world that had no value whatsoever. Nothing would come for them. That made his base of operations secure. Of course, the amount of work Feena was going to face was something else. He was glad she wasn't on Coruscant. He tapped his chin. It was all so very curious. Where had this Omni located it's production facilities? On what technlogy did they run. Keter remembered reading about Star Forges, but this sounded somewhat different. Armies of unknown droids....but no ships. How had Omni spread through the galaxy so well? Teleportation? Fixed hyperspace gates? Some other silly and fantastical and impossible means?

He wanted to know. But one thing at a time. The blond sighed as he opened a secure channel to his fiancee, probably keeping an eye on the children at the moment. "Feena...I'm going to need your help. You have allies in the senate correct?" he asked, his eyes moving over to a screen displaying the few images that had been making their way from Coruscant as people took to their ships to escape the machines. The winged droids seemed most impressive...

Vladimir read the message on his holovid... and then his eyes became filled to the brim with rage when "The Plague was made to thin your numbers." came up, then he quickly smashed the projector. Could his misfortune have been simply caused by this so-called "Omni" and could Omni be the source of his lack of Force power teaching over the years?

Feena was sitting in the courtyard as the children played. On her lap little Felicity, hardly a year old, watched her siblings chase each other as she sucked on a bottle of juice. It was always peaceful here on Keters little moon. For that, Feena was very thankful. Sure, she would have liked to be a little closer to civilization (and work) but it certainly was safer for the children.

"Feena...I'm going to need your help. You have allies in the senate correct?"
Feena set Felicity down to let her wander after her siblings.
"Some," she answered, "What help could you possibly need?"
That worried her some. The last thing she needed was her fiance to drag her clients into his schemes. She had to work with these people, after all.

Coruscant: Pre Clockwork Event
It had been a normal day. Well, a normal shore leave day at least for Turin and he was on the prowl, bouncing from club to club looking for worthy prey. "Where are all the beuties?" he asked himself in wonder, looking at his chrono. Only 16:25 Galactic Standard. It made sense that there was a lack of women in most of these places. Nobody day drank during the business week, well, besides him at least. With a defeated shrug he headed into one more club. Despite the early hours this club seemed to be bustling with activity. It was actually refreshing. Before entering he was stopped by a Gamorean bouncer, but with a flash of his blaster pistol and his military I.D. he was in.

Coruscant: Clockwork Event
He lost himself in the crowd, dancing, drinking, it was great. Hours went by and he could see the sun starting to set through the plexiglass. And then the power shut off. All of it; the lights, music, even outside he watched in confusion and fear as the lights around the planet shut off and things powered down. He could hear the crashes and the screams from the sky line. It sounded like it was raining speeders. A loud screech could be heard above the screams of confusion in the club. As it got louder and louder people began to quiet down.

Crash!

A speeder feel straight through the middle of the roof, killing the few below instantly. The speeder itself looked like it had been hit hard enough to shoot it out of the skylanes, the driver had been dead long before the car landed. More screams. "Hey! Hey! Everyone calm down! Republic Navy!" the crowd wouldn't calm down. A blaster shot was fired from the bar table, the tender attempting to quiet the masses. With a nod the Gungan turned the the attention to the young Navy Lieutenant. With a grateful nod Turin turned back to the crowd, "It'll be okay, the power will be on soon!" in truth he really didn't know what was going to happen, nothing of this scale had happened ever to his knowledge of the planet's history.

"I can't use my comlink! I can't call my husband!" a young Cathar woman shouted. More began to mumble which quickly turned to a roar once again. Another blaster bolt burned its way into the sealing. "It'll be okay, my beacon still works." he said, pulling the small unlit tab from his jacket pocket. Cracking it like a glow stick it began to glow bright blue and he tossed it to the barkeep. "What now?!" an angry Besalisk shouted. "We wait!" Turin answered. And so they did. In about an hour the power began to turn on in certain areas, mostly screens and speakers and coms. However, the same message played over and over for about a minute. And then darkness again.

A rumble, then a quake. Buildings feel there was more screaming, inside and outside. When the rumbling finally stopped a loud hum, 'No more like a drone.' he thought to himself. Black filled the sky and suddenly they were upon them. Everywhere outside blaster fire filled the air accompanied by screams and the sound of breaking metal. A droid army had descended upon Coruscant. The guards in the club attempted to fight off the droids however many of the unarmed patrons were quickly put down. It was a slaughter. Moving as quickly as he could something snapped back into place in his mind. Maybe it was the fact the he could die any second, or maybe it was that so many were dying around him and he felt a need to protect them, but he did something he had not done since his Imperial days. He touched the Force. With a heavily straining pull here and a small pull there he had pulled a young girl into the cover of one of the durasteel tables with him. Sweat adorned his brow now as he looked over at the young girl. She was panicking holding a smoking wound in her stomach. She couldn't have been more than seventeen. She had probably used a fake I.D. for a fun night with friends.

He couldn't tend to her now though. The guards were just about finished. Taking out his own blaster pistol he looked at the girl whom had her eyes closed, blood sliding from the corner of her mouth. As he was about to hop the table and start fighting, she whimpered and grabbed the sleeve of his jacket. "Don't leave me..." tears were in her green eyes. Fear, regret. Fear of death, regrets unknown "I don't wanna die...I-I haven't even...Even..." the green in her eyes dulled as she slumped. She was now with the Force, or heaven , or whatever you believed. The pain from those around him was too much for him to handle now that he was open to the Force fully again. "Argh!" a migraine Pain. Pain of millions. It was intense. His vision blurred and the droids were closing in. A shuttle landed and blaster fire filled the room, the droids were down. He felt himself lifted off the ground and into the shuttle. Up, gone.

In what felt like days, but was a few minutes he woke in the infirmary of the Republic's locked down military headquarters. He had to help. Pushing the nurse out of the way, who was a cute little blonde by the way, he headed to the hangar where he saw @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""]Thessa Kai and @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""]Judah Dashiell. Keter smiled at hearing her voice again. It always lifted her spirits. "You'd better come inside and hear this. Something big has happened. On Coruscant." It wouldn't do if her friends were caught up in all this. Besides, with all this chaos, he could take the opportunity to look into a few things he'd been interested in for a long time.

Feena swooped down and lifted Felicity up in her arms again at once. Something on Coruscant. When she heard those words she knew she had to go.
"Come," she said to the two older children, "inside. Now. Into your bed rooms- Don't argue."
Lucinda had opened her mouth to protest but shut it again, smart enough to know when it was important to listen. She grabbed Cecils hand and the two of them scurried off together. Felicity on the other hand was too small to be left alone, so Feena took her with her when she took off to find her fiance. Coruscant was her home for many years. It was where she did most of her business. And she had friends there. If anything happened to it...

"Keter?" she called out when she stepped into his chamber, "What is going on? What's happening on Coruscant?"
Felicity seemed to pick up on her worry and started to get a little fussy. Her mother hushed her softly holding her over her shoulder so she could not see the images on the screens.
"What is this?"

Tink tink tink

The EMP grenade bounced across the floor over to Zev. Barley able to react, Zev leaped to the side just as the grenade went off and released a wave of blue energy. His droids began jerking violently and their voice emitters began buzzing with an ear bursting static growl. The advanced B2 series droids had an automatic reboot system, one that would kick in eventually, but for the time being Zev was on his own. However, Zev's droids were not the only ones affected by the grenade, he too had been hit by the effects of the pulse. Normally it should only daze him, but he felt this grueling pain in the front of his head as he stumbled back to his feet. What was he doing!? Why was he here!? He shouldn't be doing this, it was insane! Doubts began to wash over him like a wave, but they were met with one solid belief that was not his own, he was doing this for Omni and Omni was doing this for freedom.

When Zev finally got on his feet, he saw his assailant pop up from behind a statue with his blaster in hand. "Brunswick!" Zev growled. He brought his hand up to fire at him, but realized he had lost his pistol. He had no time to look for it so he dove one of his B2s that stood jerking from the EMP and pulled his knife.
