Rumors are spreading in the underworld and among the galaxy’s information brokers: the elusive scientist Tera (Liin), who escaped the Makeb incident with research on a “synthetic Force,” is setting up multiple research sites across the Mid Rim.
But not everything is what it seems. Some of the new labs are nothing but smoke and mirrors - decoys meant to draw attention, buy time, and feed false data. Still, some real work continues amid the ruse… and only a few know which labs are the real thing.
Now scavengers, mercenaries, spies, and Force-users of all allegiances are converging on these installations - each with their own goals. Will they uncover the truth, or will they fall into Tera’s carefully laid trap?
This is an open thread tied to the Catalyst Protocol story arc.
Whether your character supports or opposes Liin's goal of creating a synthetic Force, there's room to participate.Looking for:
*Force Users (Jedi, Sith, scholars, hunters, seekers)
*Non-Force Characters (bounty hunters, mercs, spies, corporate agents, rogue scientists)
*Factions with an interest in synthetic power, blacksite science, or controlling dangerous tech
Anyone with a reason to track Liin’s work—or stop it.
You don’t need to have been in the earlier Makeb thread to join. This thread is an entry point for new characters and factions to enter the Catalyst Protocol arc and join the others already involved. The lab in question may or may not be a true research site. Have fun discovering the truth - or getting played.
