- Inferno Gun: The Purifier is a very powerful incendiary weapon whose projectiles can reach a temperature similar to that of common lava, guaranteeing the incineration of all but the strongest of substances and beings with prolonged exposure.
- Yatatatatadodeda: Due to its simple construction and the nature of the Magkast Compound ammunition, it is nearly impossible for a Purifier to overheat, allowing for a continuous assaualt only limited by the amount of Magkast in the Purifier.
- Hot Potatoes: Compared to similar incendiary weapons, Purifiers have a considerably smaller area of effect, its hotter flames burning a smaller area centered around each chunk of Magkast Compound.
- Range Sandwich: As a result of the kinetic properties of Magkast Compound, the Purifier is only effective between the ranges of two and ten meters. When a target is less than two meters away, the Magkast has not gained enough speed for enough time to activate, leaving it in a useless solid form no more dangerous than a stone fired from a slingshot. Past ten meters, the newly liquidated Magkast rapidly succumbs to gravity and falls to the ground short of its target.
- Biiiiiiig gun: Weighing in at just over fifty kilograms when fully loaded with a regular 1000 shell magazine, the Purifier is a cumbersome weapon. Even among the physically gifted Draelvasier, the Purifier is relegated exclusively to Juggernauts and the elite elements of the Zealots, with limited exceptions.
The Purifier was aptly named: its flames have played a significant role in wiping numerous planets clean of their previous "impurities".
The brainchild of the same engineering team that had produced Magkast, the Purifier was a long-overdue project to apply the potent compound in a widely distributed armament. The team first observed and reverse-engineered captured Silver Jedi Concord incendiaries, experimenting with the expenditure of fuel and the firing mechanisms. However, once the liquid fuel of the repurposed weapons ran out, the engineering team moved on to creation of their own unique product.
To many outside observers, the Purifier closely resembles a traditional minigun. However, no Draelvasier engineer involved in the Purifier project had any knowledge of such a weapon. Instead, by incredible coincidence, the engineering team decided that a simple rotary barrel would achieve the best balance of rate of fire and firing range. After three months of experimentation, the product was deemed servicable and entered service with Juggernauts and Zealots by the tens of thousands.
