HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Prior to the monumental First Battle of Bastion, concern grew among the higher echelons of the New Imperial Order regarding the sustainability of the war in the long run; especially with gloomy forecasts that even a victory over the Sith Empire's capital would not be enough to sway a ceasefire from the Sith. With constrained resources typical for a rogue state as the New Imperial Order, further exacerbated by the Sith-Imperial decree of enacting Scorched Earth Policy on the Braxant Run worlds lost by the Sith to the New Imperials, the mutinous Imperials were in dire need of resources to even carry out a siege of Bastion.

COMPNOR found the solution - the creation of the Black Fund; an unaccounted publically, secretive fund built from clandestine and illegal operations. Utilizing the connections of their more experienced members such as Jaeger Harrsk Jaeger Harrsk 's connections with Core World corporates and politicians and Djorn Bline Djorn Bline 's associations with the underworld, COMPNOR was able to enact a massive funding campaign. Be it blackmailing Core world politicians and corporations to promising them favors in New Imperial dealings to twisting hands of key elements of the Trade Federation such as Aerarii Tithe Aerarii Tithe .

Be it the formation of interplanetary smuggling rings, drug cartels such as the one from Ithor spearheaded by Djorn Bline Djorn Bline and Tavius Muuaji Tavius Muuaji , mercenary work, assassination contracts and the likes of other illegal activities. All created a massive cash flow into the Black Fund's coffers which was utilized initially to carry the cost of the Battle of Bastion and the forecasted Total War which resulted in the eventual erasing of the Sith Empire from the face of the galaxy.

As these activities developed and their profits grew so did they became COMPNOR's source of funding clandestine operations, a few of them are noted in the Events section of this submission.
