Rule of Two
The Ayrix

Affiliation: Chandrila Group / Chandrila DataTech
Manufacturer: Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps
Model: Indispensable-class Corporate Flagship
Modularity: Like other Indispensable-class ships (see link above).
Production: Unique
Material: Mirror-polished durasteel hull, glasteel viewports
Classification: Non-Combat Command Carrier/Transport
Length: 1500m
Width: 400m
Height: 300m
Armament: The Indispensable-class is a non-combat vessel, an elite transport. Its weapons capabilities are solely based on deterrence. Its armament rating is 7, with a heavy bias toward defensive weapons. Like the Colo-class frigate, the Indispensable's defensive loadout includes layered coverage from CIWS, antimissile octets, short-range anti-boarding null-burst projectors, point-defense missiles, and quad lasers.
Defenses: When Alicia Drey received her own Indispensable-class from Ajira Cardei, she outfitted the Ayrix with her own technology. Combined with it's shield, hull and the Portable Dampening Field (PDF) it has outfitted, the defensive rating of this ship works out as 7.
Hangar:
- 1 squadron of Annihilator-class boarding shuttles.
- 1 squadron of N-5 fighters.
- 1 squadron of GN-0401 Virtue bombers.
- The Initium.
- Comprehensive docking/hangar capability, focusing on the ability to support (refuel, repair, clean, etc.) a varying but substantial number of corporate shuttles and light freighters. This capacity can be expanded with the modular areas.
- Silk Holdings Silkworm Hypertransit Package
- Silk Holdings QQ-543N/53R Cap Drains
- Portable Dampening Field (PDF)
- Stygium cloak (applies only to some or all of the internal holds/hangars, as detailed below)
- Modular holds (as detailed below)
- Comprehensive high-security communications package
- ArmaTech Aegis Shield Receptor Nodes
- All normal starship systems, including good but not excellent deflector shields
Speed Rating: 16
Hyperdrive Class: 0.5, backup Class 10, from Silkworm Hypertransit Package; range 150,000ly
Strengths:
- A Silkworm Hypertransit Package with a long-range fuel supply allows the Indispensable to cross the galaxy without dropping out of hyperspace, at extreme speed.
- Low-publicity stygium cloaking capabilities (which apply only to internal hangars and cargo holds) permit the Indispensable to appear as if it is carrying no cargo, even to sensitive or close-range scans.
- High modularity: 60% of internal space can be reconfigured for various corporate purposes, from ore processing to office space.
- Comprehensive cap drain coverage gives the Ayrix high resistance to EMP and ion weaponry.
- It's Portable Dampening Field (PDF) blocks other vessels from scanning the Ayrix in a certain cargo hold.
- Low armament rating (7).
- Low defensive rating (7).
- Very few anti-capital weapons, over and above the low armament rating.
With her own Indispensable-class to command, Alicia named the vessel Ayrix as a pseudonym of [member="Darth Ayra"] (her alter ego). Due to it's stygium compartments, which she observed as a method of transporting the many artifacts and holocrons she had gathered as a Sith Lord, Alicia had been pleased with how the deal had gone, planning to invest the sums into Project Praesidium. She had Chandrila DataTech install one of the three Portable Dampening Fields (PDF) she had constructed with Circe Savan to increase it's defensive capabilities. The PDF was installed in one of the Ayrix's cargo holds, making that part of the ship completely undetectable by conventional means. Following the Mandalorian Empire's dominion of Mygeeto, Alicia had the Ayrix slaved linked to the Empire, using her Golden Pass to come and go from their space, namely Echol'ya.
Other than the PDF installation and name change, the Ayrix is no different from other Indispensable-class vessels, retaining the designs and intent that Theed Palace Space Vessel Engineering Corps had for them.
Development Thread:
Intent: To show that I owned my own unique Indispensable-class and to showcase some of the installations and modifications I plan for it starting now and going forwards.
