Good Ol' Scoundrel
The Antarian Rangers, also referred to as the Rangers, is a militarized branch within the Silver Jedi’s reach, responsible for maintaining a peacekeeping and defensive role of systems under the protection of the Silver Jedi Order. The Rangers are renowned for possessing a smaller size in numbers than other faction’s standing militaries but making up with their quality and expertise.
Several branches exist within the Antarian Rangers. Pilots, engineers, infantry, special forces, and even basic combat-support roles and non-combat positions are all available for training. As a smaller in size but greater in quality armed force, the Rangers are structured into expeditionary forces which contain elements of each of the aforementioned roles.
The mission of the Antarian Rangers is the preservation of peace and security and the defense of Silver Jedi aligned territories. They are to overcome any factions responsible for aggressive acts that endanger the peace and security of Silver Jedi aligned systems.
CAPABILITIES
Every ranger is an operative,’ a statement ripped directly from ‘every marine is a rifleman,’ defines the single ranger as a skilled and trained individual. Rangers, depending on experience and training, can either be slotted in with larger units or deploy to combat zones in smaller, more specialized teams.
The Antarian Rangers are fully capable of asymmetric warfare with conventional, irregular and hybrid forces. As a force it maintains combined-arms expeditionary force which provides a smoother implementation of combined-arms warfare principles and can be rapidly deployed.

AWARD SYSTEM
To further add depth and flavor to the Antarian Rangers, an award system was implemented for the sake of rewarding contribution in different aspects. The awards are, more or less, based on real life military decorations.

Distinguished Valor Medal - For above average courage in a combat situation.
Medal of Service - For enlistment into the Silver Jedi Rangers, meeting all requirements and training to earn the title.
Wroshyr Tree Medal - For receiving a wound in the line of duty and not perishing.

OOC INTENT
Our intent is to offer an enjoyable experience of military roleplay to writers who are interested in writing military characters. Nonetheless, without the rigidness of real life military as to allow creative freedom to bloom. We intend to be a playground for both those who wish to write Non-Force Combatants and those who wish to mimic all the aspects of real soldier life without burdening either with any requirements but that to have fun.
