The Abominable (Iella)

Syn watched the scene play out while he focused with his blades and force energies to empower and focus. He sent energy to Iella as he finished with what he was doing. Finding a way to end the life of Naz and the thunk of a head hitting the ground while Syn left the body in the rafters. He lept back down and into the frey as the heart was cut from its chain. The thing striking the ground and Syn moved... Not like that, there was soemthign to be said for destroying crystals and when it came to sith crystals you didn't want to be near them when they shattered as he reached out with the force and pulled. To bring Iella to him and pushed the force to protect them a small bubble of energy when it cracked and shattered from the drop. Screams echoing and reverberating throughout the chamber they were in and the undead were going into a Frenzy. Then there it was, a strong darkside feeling and sickness lingered as one of the larger being towered over the others and Syn looked upon it. "Oh frak." He remained very still and held the blade in front of him. He was prepared for a fight and from behind the throne an ancient sword scratched across the ground.

Iella felt the hand of the force wrap around her body. The strong power lifted her up and toward Syn, just as the crystal hit the ground and smashed. As the screams issued from the broken relic, Iella blocked her mind to their cries of anger, hatred and pain. Lost souls now released from a bond who knows for how long. The bubble held but the darkness grew and grew and so Iella focused on the light side of the force .. her eyes narrowed and watched, almost in silence as the scream began to recede.

She heard Syn's voice, "You said it", she said as she too watched the looming figure come before them. Her white blade still ignited roar with a pulse she had never heard before, the dragon is most definately awake. Her own mind narrowed and set the being .. no emotion in her body just the want to end this.

"We do this together", she said low.

He gave a nod of his head to that, they had always worked together and always come out on top because of it. As he focused on the force it brought his body in line and prepared him.. "Together". He let the armor gleam for a moment before moving forward with emerald energy sparking off his blade. The roar that came from the missing mouth brought the blade up and it blocked the saber as he felt ever from a dead body the power. The pulse of the darkside was strong with this being and Syn moved the blade off to the side so Iella could move in and make contact. All he needed to do was provide the distraction while her blades could work for getting the beast on the ground. He only saw one way out of this and he spoke tugging down that invisible line between them. We are going to need to light up the area, a wall can purge the spirits from the room.

As twist of her white blade rotated in her hand, a well practiced move and a habit. Iella moved in sync with Syn forward their connection proving vital in this event. She sensed his initial move and positioned herself on the flank of the being. A slight pivot from the being as Syn engaged him, Iella struck the back. Her white blade biting into the being. The blade pulsed as it tasted the dark side, wanting more.

Hearing his words, she though of something. You remember in the cave on Illum, that white blast of light side energy that was raw that issued from me in a blinding flash, I can control it now.

Syn gave a nod of his head and affirmed her knew what she was talking about. In his mind there were many things happening as he continued to push the enemies blade back and up. The attack from Iella brought the thing into a howling rage as Syn spun around to be next to Iella and he focused. Pushing his force energy into his body and then deep into her as he pushed the force energy down feeling the sigils they held burn against the darkside. His blood might boil but he was so much more as he held the force deep and spoke to Iella. "Alright, focus it, we want to get everywhere." His head turned to her and a smile crept on his lips at the sight of her.... She had come a long way since Tattooine and there was so much more coming through the ranks of the jedi and standing by him through everything. We feared for her as much as always and was willing to take any pain as his blood boiled and burned in a wash of heat from the building pressure and energy. Even pooling his own lightside energies was a counter to him, he hoped his children wouldn't experience this fully but knew it was a possibility. "Do it now."

The raging knot in her stomach, her ever present source of the Force swirled and built within her. So many times she had felt the power of it, and she knew that she had not discovered it's full potential. But that was something she had deliberately done. Jedi should never want for more power, power that is not needed and she believed she had more then enough to fulfill her purpose. In time maybe she might find a situation that would require more, or find her lacking but she had skill enough to deal with anything. And if not, well that would be her undoing and completely her own fault. Her destiny still to be revealed.

In control now, she rapidly drew on the source and called it to her body, the throbbing energy surged and set her skin alight with the white light. Her blade calling for the darkness, pulsed in harmony with the heart and as the Force pushed around her ... the glow on her skin brightened and grew more radiant. The once raw power she felt as a young girl there to be summon and as the energy come to it's climax she released it.

From her came the flash of white light, her arms out wide, her eyes focused on the heart and push the light side of the force toward it. Her body began to shudder with the sheer power, but something was not right. She continued with a new wave of power, but still nothing. She remained there hoping Syn might have the answer.

Syn felt it and kept pouring power, Iella had a knot of energy usually in her core where some had insatiable hunger and devoured, it was a powerful thing and as he stood there holding her felt his blood boil. That was the painful part though, some hotness to his blood while he just let the force come out of himself and danced off his skin. He had seen force light done before and standing there now doing it only cared about protecting Iella. She mattered, she was solid and constant in this universe as the light went away and he stood there feeling the force return to them.

The end of it all had the corpses gone and dust on the ground, even as limited as the light was between them it could still harm darkside being while he looked to her and around the area. Something wasn't right, it still felt wrong and foreboding but he looked at the being there and felt it. They hadn't succeeded or at least not as he thought they would, whatever this was it wasn't the heart... THat was the man but he had been attracted to the same thing as they were. A crystal heart pulsing with thousands of dark souls... questionable there would be two but the room was clean. Their enemies ash in the earth now.

The swirling of the force around the two though told him no matter what they had succeeded as he looked up. "Impressive master jedi's, you faced something few could survive against and even less understand. You have succeeded in your trials and earned our greatest secret. The ability to retain your form after death to guide and help others." The being continued to hover around them while Syn looked at Iella and while he knew something had come this could have been a very dangerous thing. He wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth and take this lightly while he moved feeling the whispers of the force disappear.

"We should seal this place up and head back, whatever this was, whatever was really here is gone for now but ancient things have a habit of creeping back."

Iella stood and looked out around them. The only thing remaining was that heart or at least what they thought might be it. The voices speaking she knew at once and only a smirk crossed her face, secrets of things unknown are sometimes dangerous and ill wished for. However, they had done it as it where and now to return.

She turned and looked at Syn, her face not changing expression and simply nodded her understanding. They moved toward the exist and out and she haltered and waited for Syn so they together could seal the place, forever, she hoped. But things dark do find a way to return to a place where they can do harm once more.

"What is the plan to seal the place?". She looked upward at the stone work of the entrance "bring down the walls?", that too would be easy enough for Iella, her shock wave would do all to easy however, that is dangerous considering the last time she tried such a thing. She smiled remembering her fall to the bottom of the cave on Tython.

Bringing down the walls was easier but just at the entrance was to simple, walking with her he spoke. "Well bringing down as much of the temple as we can. Not even the two of us could wall of light the planet and stop the darkness here. It will return possibly stronger, that is the way." He was almost sad saying it like that but looking back her clenched his fist. The energy crackling and compressing in his fist until he threw it at one side of the wall to flatten it. "I'll take this side." The Kinetite moved with his command and as it impacted the wall looped around to strike in different area's. Syn's fingers coming up while he trusted Iella to break her side and help bring the temple down.

Later on for returning he took more the quicker way climbing up and moving through to reach the old city and the ship. There was still many things they could do but bringing the ball of Kinetic energy with them to flatten and destroy passages would have to do. He had serious doubts others would come this far down like they were. Most chose not to explore or stay to the basic tombs. "I know this wasn't the ideal date night but I had a good time, you always d bring out and teach me something new about myself."

She nodded her understanding, Iella had no intentions of creating a wall of light for this place, they where not strong enough but her inclination was to destroy the place anyway. Korriban is not a place to stay for longer then necessary and she want off this infernal place. It made her sick to the stomach and only it's destruction would be an answer to ridding the galaxy of it cancer.

Iella moved into position and without hesitation or mercy, she raised her hands and summon the force along her arms. The ball of the force that resides within her core, churned and filtered throughout her. Focusing the energy, in the manifestation of a shockwave, more deliberate then setting it to free form, she pushed the force forward aimed directly toward a large carved column. As the wave struck, the rock cracked. Again another wave toward the wall of the underground cavern. Her arms raised high over her head and another wave hit the ceiling. A rumble became audible as the roof began to crack .. the weight of the structure above, now laboured heavy on the foundations and debris and rubble began to fall.

She knew she had done enough, and she turned and left the place to it's destruction. She did not turn back, the sound of the exploding rock told her the result.

"It will be a date I will never forget", she smirked as she rejoined Syn. "Now lets get back to our ship and get our children out of here. They have been exposed long enough, to long for my liking".

Leaving the place proved easier then he had thought at first mostly because nothing cared for them going it was entering. Iella's readiness was something her preferred and staying there on the ship as he let the droid set the course and take them home the jedi master cared little for what they did next. It was like a weight had been lifted and he focused on getting to Hapes, on getting their children and moving forward with their lives. The first step being they were going to have their children, the second go off and enjoy life, then when the time came do whatever else was needed to ensure that above all else they lived forward in a time of peace.

Or he was willing to just not fight, he had seen the jedi spit in the face of those they hide behind for fighting to often now and he laid down in the bed after changing out of the armor. The old thing worn from use compared to other fresher things he had found. "I agree." He just laid there and held her on the bed not needing anything more then to just feel her warmth and realness, smell the scent of her under sweat and dried muck. Their children when they finally arrived joined them and he made sure the ship was hidden letting the current envolope the ship as they left, his focus on protecting the only things in the galaxy that truely mattered to him as they headed off into the sunset with a hyperspace jump.
