...it's a floating wonderland, open to one and all as a luxury holiday destination, gambling capital, place to hire general no-gooders and many other delights!

Okay, I would like to build a space station or take one over and do it up as a resort, with a thriving criminal underworld for all those looking for smugglers, pirates, slaves, duels, assassins or any other illegal goods. It would be open to one and all and host events such as podracing, arena battles, balls, galas, and anything else you can possibly think of.

Is there any interest in such a thing existing? I like to think that it would be a place for factions to mingle, network, infiltrate, etc as well as those unaffiliated to a faction to come and spend their hard-earned credits. I'd be more than willing for it to be a joint venture between several different people, to make a neutral place for everyone to rp without being too constrained by faction affiliations.

If you'd be interested, please let me know! The sooner we can get this underway, if the mods are happy for us to, the better - every galaxy needs a resort like this after all! On the other hand, if it is a silly idea, please also let me know so I can go back to the drawing board

Awesome! Perhaps it can be built as a project between factions and independents? We could run a thread to 'broker the deal', so to speak, perhaps sign an accord that no single faction will try and gain control of it. That way it makes it easier to run events for everyone to get involved in! Then we can build it and have the grand opening, events galore!
