The man looked at Kahlil and squinted, before glancing down at the child next to him with a scoff, "You're foolish if you believe buying such a ship for a child will be the kind of motivation that outbids me," he began with a very high and mighty tone. "I believe that this ship should be returned to its rightful owner," The grin on his face almost seemed to be filled with malice and selfishness.
"I'm sure the Sword of the Jedi would be thrilled to know her ship is still around after all, and I'll be the one to bring it to her. For a price, of course." He chuckled a little to himself, not realizing who he was talking to. In fact, he likely knew nothing about Valery either, and had simply read up on the basics after finding out about this ship.
Vera wasn't liking any of it. What did he want a favor from mom for? Why was he looking like that? Why was he talking with such an annoying, posh tone from the core worlds? Fuzzy, simply growled, and he noticed it but seemed to only be pleased by their annoyance.
"I don't wish to make this an embarrassment for you, however. So if you decide to step out of this, I'm sure I can mean something for you too." between his fingers, he rolled a credit chip. One with a lot of money on it.
