Testing The Waters

To focus only on one threat is an invitation for another to sick a knife in your back. The Jedi existed in many locations throughout the galaxy, and regardless of the Sith Empires desire to destroy the Silvers first, it was important to keep an eye on the other locations they hid in. The Galactic Alliance had their order, there was the Sacred Lotus, and recently a new group formed on Yutan under Commenor's rule. While Commenor eventually had them vacate the planet, the fact there was another Order was enough to reach the ears of the Lord of Trials.

Carratos was a bustling cityplanet, heavily urbanized and as of recent years held a more profitable and peaceful population. Pirates did not run free as they had so many years prior thanks to the One Sith's rule, and even after the fall the planet kept on its feet. It was here that Krest flew to in a common freighter, his hands crossed over his chest and his head bowed as he awaited the call from his droid on their arrival. Spies had located none other than [member="Romi Jade"] , an apprentice to the Grandmaster of this new Order.

"We're dropping out now my Lord. Where would you like to be dropped?"

"The Spaceport will be fine. No reason to drag unwanted attention just yet. Use the normal codes."

​"Acknowledged." There was a click as the intercom turned off and the elder Lord slowly pulled himself to his feet. Dressed in the bright reds and blues of his people and the mark of his position as King of the Iridonians he grasped a hold of his cane and moved to the exit ramp. He would test the Jedi, but not in open conflict.

Not yet at least. First he had to find her.

"That's all I've got hun..." A voice, but no face. Whomever, or whatever it was had most of their features covered.

Sigh

She released the air she been harboring in her stomach, leaning over slightly to rest her forehead against her fist. "Alright...thank you." she nodded and gave way to a defeated smile, her head following the confidants departure until she got enough feet to exit her company completely.

She folded her arms into one another before shifted her weight towards the left side of her body, having a slight lean to her stance. Eventually her eyes fell when the person vanished into the crowds. This was Carratos...she'd been going much further North, furthering her investigation into this rumor of a Sith Empire forming. So far she gained nothing completely insightful...

Her chest grew, filling with air as she turned and looked around through the streets. Her features were highlighted as orange and pink hues kissed her skin; welcome to the urban sprawl.

"Hmm..."

Veiere would probably discourage her from looking further into this but...given their current state, it was best they knew whatever was coming their way. But due to her position...she couldn't be away as much as she might have needed to in order to find the answers she wanted.

Perhaps that would soon change.

It wasn't long before the elder Zabrak found his target. A small drone hovered above the crowds as it searched for [member="Romi Jade"] , or at least someone looking like her. Once it found her however it returned to the King who was seated at an outside bar not a block away. A smile formed over his lips as he glanced down to the recording that popped up when the droid returned to it's holster.

"So she's not hiding. Keep an overwatch for me." The droid disconnected and hovered before the Lord and nodded before flying back to observe the wayward Jedi. With a flourish of his cloak he stood right up with his cane in his grip, but for once not leaning on it. With his back straight and shoulders square he walked from the bar the perfect picture of a King. Appearances were everything. As he walked he reached out with the Force, probing for the mind of the Jedi with only a question.
