Major Imports: Fuel sources are the predominant import. There is only minimal fuel production on the planet. Minor food and water importing.

Major Exports: Starships, metals, weapons systems, exotic plants and wildlife

Major Locations:
Meera is the capital city. Located beneath the planets equator, it is a sprawling metropolis where generally only the nobility live. It is surrounded by a vast subterranean jungle on all four sides, with a large underground river that runs through it. The seat of government, the King and Queen hold court from their palace in this city, and all major industries on the planet have their headquarters within this city. Manufacturing within the city is strictly prohibited in order to preserve clean air for the nobles that live there.

Nequara is the manufacturing capital of the planet. All technological manufacturing, including of small vessels is done in this city, which has access ports built into it to the surface of the planet so that vessels built within can be moved out. Subsequently, this city is very dingy and more polluted than even the regular atmosphere of the planet. The subterranean jungle here is diminished, and produces very little light in comparison to the other cities and villages of the planet.

Ciris is the location of a defense force base. It is situated in the northern pole of the planet, beneath the surface ice so as to obscure radar scans. Tubes to the surface, hidden beneath partitions which can be opened and closed, allow fighter craft and small defense craft to move swiftly to the surface when it becomes necessary for the planet to be defended.

Culture: Generally the planet is focused around mining of high value metals used in the construction of durasteel. There is also a substantial amount of titanium to be found on the planet. This focus on mining has lent itself also to a substantially large growth in the technology sector (see below). The planet thrives on a ruling class of the monarchy. As such there is a system of nobility, those related to the King and Queen, which are subsequently shareholders in the planets wealth. Those who do not fall into this role are generally regarded as workers. However, because the system relies on workers in order to be efficient, the King and Queen have adopted a system which delegates food, wealth, clothing and shelter to the workers in substantial quantities in order to avoid unrest. In addition, these working class individuals have the opportunity to choose which field of industry they wish to work in. In order to mitigate the fact that not everyone can be a ship builder, there is a set number of positions available in each job field, and it is first come, first serve. Those who do not get their job of choice usually end up in the mines.

The people of this world worship no gods, although they believe in the Force as an entity deserving of respect. In this sense, they do not hold festivals and celebrations for gods or harvests or anything of that nature. Celebrations occur for births and deaths only. The only large celebrations occur when the birth or death of a King, Queen, Prince, or Princess happens. Smaller celebrations might be held by various noble families, and much smaller by those of the working class.

Technology: The planet would be considered on par to other planets in the galaxy. Its cities would be reminiscent of those found on other technologically focused worlds, albeit underground rather than on the surface. They have ships and weapons, though they don’t possess any major defenses such as shields, defense platforms, or capital ships of their own.
History: During the formation of the galaxy the planet came into existence. Originally it was nothing more than solid rock, but then an insectoid species came into fruition, inhabiting the more habitable interior of the planet rather than the exterior.

The race is thought to have descended from an insect species that evolved on the world. However they came to be, they have no recollection of it, and respect no authority that may or may not claim to have had a hand in the process.

They are not a young species. They’ve been around for a long time. The great plague wiped out a significant majority of their people. Many of their villages and cities that once thrived now lie abandoned with no populace to sustain them. Still, they managed to recover and thrive afterwards.

In their early years they were ruled by the strongest, often fighting and killing one another until the strongest stepped forward and claimed the right to rule, killing all who opposed. For years and years this right to rule passed down to the strongest until that strongest became recognized as a lineage, and subsequently a monarchy was formed.

Over time the desire to fight was bred out of them as peace was seen restored to the world. The monarchy learned that the best way to control the people was to keep them happy rather than utilize brute force, and as a result, they sought to make people happy and haven’t looked back. This mentality has affected their everyday reactions with outsiders, seeking to obtain the same balance with them as they have with each other.

In a nutshell: they started off killing each other, the strong rose to power, the strong retained power, a new government was formed, the strong realized that in order to survive the weak needed to be happy, and subsequently decided to make them happy rather than rule with fear and strength.

At present the planet is not habitable on the surface as it is nothing but rock and debris, and the atmosphere is unbreathable by most species. All living is done within the planet’s crust, in subterranean hideaways filled with lush bioluminescent jungle.

Notable PCs: Nc’thor

Intent: To create the home world for a new species to be part of the Republic and bring a new avenue to alien race RPing through the creation of both a unique home world and that planet's native race.

Notes: There is a submission that intertwines with this for the native species. It can be found here.

@Nc'thor Hello, i only have one problem with this submission;

I would like you to state that it only manufactures small vessels. Large Starships like Star Destroyers, Heavy Cruisers, etc.. have been stated in canon to need a Shipyard in Orbit, rather than one of the surface.

Other than that this is pretty standard :)
