Tempting The Darkness

Nate got bored one day... Needless to say that boredom had lead to an impulsive trip to Mos Eisley. For reasons Nate wasn't entirely sure about. As the man of 21 entered a local cantina and took a seat. Leaning back against his chair and closing his eyes. Nate was looking for a job to complete. As when he wasn't training to become a Jedi. (Though Nate was still in contemplation about that) Nate was seeking to pick up work, in return for temporary resources and transport. Though Nate wasn't in store for the adventure he was about to run across.

Nate focused on his environment and used the force to aid in scanning the area. Both visually and through hearing. As he heard of some mild smuggling operations. All of which seemed to be set in order. Nate picked up on a bounty hunt or two. Which Nate saw no immediate need to partake in. Then finally Nate listened in as someone mentioned a distant trip. Though Nate didn't know whom the person was talking to, as nobody responded to them.

So, Nate stood up and looked around. Till his eyes focused on the individual who spoke. As he tilted his head. Keeping his expression neutral. As he stood up and walked over to the table the person was at. Then reached out and grabbed a chair. Sitting across from them, as he looked to the person. "I hope you don't mind my intrusion, though I overheard something about a trip?" Nate asked in a calm and collected manner.

Aspen would be sitting across the table from the man whom had been speaking to her about. As the man in the back spoke up. She looked back at the man and quickly took in his appearance. He was pretty tall compared to her but he didn’t intimidate her in the slightest in fact he kind of intrigued her something about his stature made her automatically like him.
“You heard right we are going to the uncharted sector.”

Nate looked to [member="Aspen Laval"] and though he didn't smile. He seemed to relax in a calm sort of manner. Nate shook his head and resumed his posture. As he was seeking to join the group it was possible. "Uncharted territory. Is there a specific reason as to why you'd head out there?" Nate asked as he furrowed his brows some. Nate new better to jump into a trip with strangers. Unless he had an idea what the cause was about. Where they were headed (in this case a general idea), and whether Nate felt he could trust the individuals he was traveling with not to screw him in some manner. Nate didn't understand why though despite the woman's dark aura around her. He felt that he could at least count on her to have a reliable opinion of whether she intended to harm him or not, though as for the man whom she was with. Nate wasn't entirely sure about, and Nate disliked being unsure about something.

Nate waited patiently as he looked between the man and the woman. Though tried to avoid turning his attention more towards the woman. She appeared to be rather shorter then himself. Which didn't surprise Nate. Though he liked to keep a profile of an individual. In case things did end up going down hill. Nate looked about the Cantina and kept tabs on everyone. Despite the fact his attention was mostly drawn to the present conversation.

"We are headed there because we have heard reports of strange things that had been happening in those regions and I have been thinking about trying to chart some of these regions." She said looking up at the man and her attention was stuck on him and she would smile thinking this could work for her.

She needed another crew member for her ship. Another hand on her ship was a good thing especially one who may know how to pilot a ship or at least fire

Nate looked to [member="Aspen Laval"] and thought a moment. "Well, Ma'am. As long as your heading this operation. Would you be open to adding one more member on the journey?" Nate asked her curiously as he for the first time. Offered one of his once in a rare moment smiles. Holding it for a brief moment, before it vanished again. Though his body language indicated that he was still in a good mood. Despite his face returning to being expressionless.

Nate saw his own benefits towards exploring uncharted lands. As it would provide him challenges which he could further learn his force abilities, and other skills. Also Nate would assume he'd do his best to figure more out about the lady. As his attention would likely be drawn to her more, then the other crew members. Especially if she was in charge of things. Though Nate wasn't currently aware that this woman was a sith. Though it probably would not of mattered any way to Nate. As long as him being a Jedi in training didn't matter much to the Lady. Besides Nate was a bit conflicted on the whole lightside, dark side viewpoint of the force.

Nate took a seat, dipping his head in appreciation to the woman. "My name is Nate." He spoke to the group. As he decided to take the time to stop the mild obsession he'd developed with [member="Aspen Laval"] to see who was present in the group. Wanting a better profile of each individual. As the group would likely be around one another quite often. Nate wasnt one to travel with people and not have an idea where he stood on the totem pole physically.

Nate nodded his head and then relaxed back. "How soon until departure?" Nate asked to use business as a means to occupy his thoughts. As he reached out and subconsciously slid a cup back and forth with the force. Not paying much attention to it. As it was a skill he used to help him focus and remain calm.

Aspen would look at the man he looked like he could be a good hand around the ship. "We leave at first light." She said looking at the new man and then she 'accidently' touched his leg to see his reaction

Nate blinked as the cup he was sliding through the force went off the table. Nate looked to [member="Aspen Laval"] and shifted some. As he focused his eyes on her. A slight shimmer crossing them. Though he kept his expression rather neutral towards the 'accidental' touch of his leg. As he lifted a finger and suggested she indulge upon that potential another moment. As for now they should focus upon the journey. He was sure they would have a lot of time to get to know one another once on the ship. Either that or sometime before the ship depending on how arrangement were set up.

Nate nodded his head. As he stood and turned. Beggining to head off from the group. As he closed his eyes and breathed. Doing his best to calm his thoughts once more.

Nate went and settled down in a local place to rest. As he got prepared for the following day. Not expecting any company that evening. So when he felt a presence near by. He glanced to the door. Furrowing his brow and waiting to see if a knock would come, or if it was a false alarm.

Nate walked up to the door and opened it. As he looked down to the woman. He smiled some and stepped aside to let the woman whom he met earlier in. "Is there a way I can help you?" He asked her curiously. As he looked about the room and tidied it up, despite it not being his home. Nate wasn't even sure that he understood why he wanted to tidy it up.

He looked to her and tilted his head. "Really(" he asked more so in confusion to that being the reason she arrived, then the announcement. As he noticed her step towards him. Which he stood his ground for the moment. Not sure what exactly to make of the situation.

He furrowed his brows some. As Nate generally didn't display emotion. Though this woman brought out something in him. "Thanks?" Nate responded as he motioned for the woman to have a seat. As he sat on a chair.
