Aiesha felt the calling to visit the Jedi temple of Ilum. Lately she had felt the desire to travel to jedi temples across the galaxy. Aiesha felt the need to study and learn from jedi masters, although she was a knight she always felt the need for knowledge. Plus she loved visiting temples, every one she visited gave her a different perspective of the force. Aiesha loved helping people, and tried with every temple she had visited.
Aiesha sat cross legged mesmerized by two pillars on either side of a crystal clear waterfall pouring through a jagged rock face, appearing to be a monolith. At the right time of day you could catch an aural kaleidoscope of different colors bouncing off the rock face a wonderful peaceful view.

Aiesha had a specific reason for visiting Ilum, she believed a Jedi Master here would be able to teach her ‘Serenity Trance’. If not here than she would travel the Galaxy till she met one with the ability. The temperature was starting to get cooler, snuggled into her robe, she chuckled she closed her eyes inducing Tapas to keep warm, she knew eventually she would have to go inside, for the moment she was at peace.

"Phew that last jump really messed with me." Mason said to himself as he jumped out of his X wing. It was freezing but Mason didn't mind much. His Jedi robes flapping in the harsh winds.

Mason felt drawn to the Ilum, he didn't know why...not yet. He began to walk towards the entrance of a cave, for some reason the force was strong in the area. He had heard of a Jedi temple on the planet, could this be it?

Mason had only heard scattered whispers of it.

Soon Mason walked into an open area with a woman sitting cross-legged. What caught the teen's eye was the waterfall that sat between to pillars.

Wow!" Mason whispered as he walked closer to the woman.

"Isn't it beautiful? I like the way the light reflects off the trickling water..." The tall teen said as he stood next to the woman. Mason bundled his robes closer to him as he spoke, steam leaving his mouth with every word.

"I am Mason"

Aiesha loved meeting new people, especially those just learning in the ways of the force. She could sense a niceness about himself. The colors vibrant changing before their eyes she watched for a moment smiling as he gave his name. If one touched the water with water with the ability could feel its memories, often in temples helps soothe and calm the spirit.

“Nice to meet you, I'm Aiesha” she stood and was about to touch the water, she leaned over,

“Wanna see something cool, They say in places like this if you touch the water you can see and feel the memories of the water and the stones.I can show you. It's easy all you have to do close your eyes, take my hand and touch the water”

Aiesha joyfully smiled reaching out her hand.

Mason chewed his bubblegum as he watched the water. Almost caught in a trance. Soon Aiesha stood and intoduced herself.

The woman asked if he wanted to see something cool, then launched into an explanation of how the water could possibly show memories of the past if touched.

Mason's mind was running, to him that was so cool, his eyes would light up as the woman reached out her hand. Mason smiled and ran his hand through his hair making sure it stayed in place.

"Woah that's amazing! You would really show me?" Mason reached out his hand to Aiesha.

He was a bit nervous, he had no clue what to expect. The force was a strange thing to Mason. He chewed his bubblegum anxiously. For a second he stopped chewing and closed his eyes with a deep breath he calmed himself.

"I'm ready..."

“Ok no peeking” She said jokingly.

Ashara took masons hand in hers, drawing from the force around her, as though a warm fire neatly kept with only the burning embers radiated from her hand, Aiesha placed their hands in the water fall. Vibrantly the colors danced across the whole rock face an auriel borealis faded between the echoes of time brought forth in this single moment.

‘Feel the quiet, and let go of your thoughts, allow the force to see for you, allow the force to show you its memories.”Aiesha would protect mason.

Mason giggled when [member="Aiesha Solari"] joked to him about peeking. Soon Mason felt the Force around him, more than he usually did. The water touched their hands, it was cold but Mason didn't mind, he focused on Aiesha's words.

The teen listened to how quiet the world around him was, the only sound was the voice of Aiesha, but even that was fading as he felt the force surrounding him. Pulling him to feel out and see the memories that the temple held.

Soon flashes of the past would flood Mason's mind. Past Jedi of all walks coming to the caverns to find their lightsaber crystals. Echos of times before. Mason smiled.

He hadn't done this before, reaching out to the force in this way. It was all new to him.

His smile soon faded as the force took him to the caverns where the crystals were held, padawans not making it out, darkness. Flashes of failed tests and frozen corpses. The teen tried to shake the feeling of helplessness and hound himself only going deeper into he darkness.

Mason squeezed the woman's hand. His mind was racing as more memories flashed. His face displayed a bit of fear and worry. He was scared.

Ashara felt fear and despair through Mason, she could see what he saw. For a young boy so many emotions all at once, tears filled her eyes this was not what she wanted. He tightly squeezed her hand she felt him slipping into the darkness. She clasped both his hands in hers, there was only one thing she could thing of to do.

Gently she placed her forehead against Mason's, she allowed herself to meld her mind with his, transferring the fear to herself, so Mason could hear her words through the foce.

“Noo no. No. Come back to me, Don't be afraid I am here. I will protect you.”

Mind meld was a very dangerous procedure, mostly used in battle meditations, but she had learned another form from the Kel Dorians on Baran Do.. She could transfer her thoughts to keep one from slipping to the dark side. The downfall was it would consume much of her energy and focus would take a toll on her.

“Mason, I am soo sorry, I am here”

[member="Mason"]

A thought? No a feeling, Mason felt [member="Aiesha Solari"] squeeze his hand. Soon he would feel their foreheads touch. Then a voice through the force. It was Aiesha's. Coaxing the teen back to reality. Mason opened his eyes and slowly realeased the woman's hand. The wave of fear, anxiety....darkness was all but gone. He smiled weakly.

"That was something else...for the most part it was a good experience, well until the end...." Mason grimaced then rubbed the back of his neck.

"Sorry about that..." Mason said apologetically as he ran a hand through his hair.

Mason let out a dry cough before turning to Aiesha. "I'm the one who should be sorry Aiesha." Mason said as he took a deep breath.

"So on a lighter topic...what are you doing here?" Mason tried to change the subject with a pop of his bubblegum.

Aieaha observed such resilience in the young lad to experience most people would have aimed sort trauma, but he took it as an experience to grow from. She was in awe how the Chiss could take such an experience and then into a positive.

This is why she came here to learn and grow, and gain a new perspective. What she thought she came for she had learned entirely different, Aiesha came to learn the Serenity trance but she learned how the young can take fear and overcome it.

“At first I wanted to learn a new way of meditating, instead I have learned something else.” For a moment she drew into herself and what she had been through.Something humans deal with so differently than Chiss

“I wished to find serenity here such a peaceful and loving place” she smiled wholeheartedly”and meet new people.

[member="Mason"]

Mason looked to the waterfall peering into it. The colors were still magnificent for sure, it didn't matter much...the memories that is, what happened good or bad were all experiences he should learn from. He smiled as he turned to [member="Aiesha Solari"]. She began speaking about what she came to learn, saying she learned something entirely different. Saying that she looked for Serenity. And to meet new people. Mason's smile grew even bigger.

"I do appreciate it Aiesha. You're the first kind person I've met in a while." Mason said with a grin.

"Have you ever been here before?" Mason said as he instinctively checked his nails. (Yup they were still pink and still there), a habit he found hard to break, His appearance meant a lot to him. Even if it was a petty childish thing to do. Mason ran his hand through his hair.

He looked to Aiesha. The lanky teen was glad he met such an awesome person in such a barren land.

Aiesha smiled as Mason was speaking, his kind words speaking of her in such a matter. For her it had been a long while since she had seen young people who haven't seen the horrors of the dark side. Aiesha could not help but smile, she came to teach a ne she was learning a valuable lesson.

“Well nope this my first time being here. I have been trying visit Jedi temples throughout the Galaxy.”She laughed at something that happened earlier.

“You know young man, you blew a bubble.and.it popped in my face” She tried to keep a straight face but ended laughing. It didn't matter she had remembered what it felt.like to be his age again, without all the worry and trials that he would go through later in life.

“How do you like living here, are you from here?”

[member="Mason"]

Mason definitely wasn't used to the kindness from [member="Aiesha Solari"]. Sure he grew up on Coruscant, and met pleanty of people. But that was different. Aiesha said she hadn't been to the temple before and that she wanted to visit every temple in the Galaxy. Mason looked at her amazed. Truly, was she setting out to do that. Amazing.

The woman then laughed saying that Mason blew a bubble in her face earlier. The lanky teen's face went red with embarrassment.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" Mason said as he covered his mouth with a huge smile on his face.

The woman asked how Mason liked living here, and if he was from there. Mason chewed his gum as he shook his head.

"I'm actually not from here, it's my first time here as well. Actually I live on Coruscant..." Mason said he bundled up his robes a bit.

"I was a Jedi with The Dominion a few months back. Though I had to deal with a few personal matters which caused me to take my leave from the Dominion. So now I just travel." Mason said as he looked around the entrance.

He smiled to Aiesha as he ran his hand through his hair yet again. "Frickin hair." Mason grumbled as he fixed it.

Aiesha had been traveling the galaxy, she had heard of the dominion but thus far had yet to be involved or met anyone from that order. Aiesha belonged to two different orders the silver jedi and the Baran do which had taken up most of her time. But as of late she had taken a leave absent in search of her own meditations due to the fact she was studying for herself and helping those in need.

“Hmm I have been to Coruscant a few times, Do you miss being away? I miss my Home I used to live on Onderon, I haven't been home in awhile. I like traveling though. What's a neat places have you been.”she snicker before responding

“I forgot my brush, It's in my ship. Mason are you getting cold, I have some spare jackets, or perhaps we should go inside and get warm”

[member="Mason"]

The woman asked if Mason missed being home. He took a second and thought. She missed her home on Onderon, even asking what neat places Mason has been to. Mason chewed his gum and smiled.

"Do I miss Coruscant? Hell yeah, the amount of clubs and the amazing night life. As for places, havent been to much yet, just jumping around, nothing too interesting." Mason said as he looked around. He smiled as the woman laughed

The teen smiled as Aiesha said she left he brush on her ship, and asked if he was cold.

"Ha, as did I. Didn't expect my hair to be do problematic. As for the cold, I'll manage, but I am interested in exploring the temple." the Jedi said as he chewed his gum.

He ran his hands down his robes. He wasn't a fan of them, too stuck up. He preferred his designer clothes. Mason smirked. He was such a weirdo.

The tall teen looked towards the Temple's entrance.

"lead the way... hopefully there aren't any creatures lurking" Mason said with a hint of fear in his voice.

Aiesha smiled, she herself wasn't one for the night life. She grew up in a wealthy family of politicians and an emissaries. So most of her time was spent in training as a jedi as an emissary. Sometimes she believes she had missed out on certain experiences in her life.

“I have never been to the clubs on Coruscant”Ashara chuckles slightly.

Aiesha chuckled Mason seemed so awkward with what he was wearing, she remembered a time when She felt she had to wear what was expected of her.Lately she had grown accustomed to hit. It had been some time she had the opportunity to get dolled up for a night.Perhaps she needed a night out to forget what was going on in the real world.

“Me too let's go adventuring” Aiesha smiled.

The temperature was starting to drop, and perhaps it was as good time as any to head on inside and explore the temple.Aiesha sensed something very close, and it was not very comforting, Aiesha motion with her hand.”Stay behind me”

“I sense something, you will be ok,I have placed a protective barrier around you”

Slowly they trekked to the entrance, when a loud howl sounded around them and a Gorgodon made itself known. Aiesha was not a jedi guardian, her abilities more for defense than anything else, although she was more than able to handle herself in lightsaber combat being proficient in the seven forms.

More than likely the Gorgodon was merely hungry when it took up their sent. Aiesha did want to provoke the reptile, at the present time her lightsaber still remained at her side.

“Carefull, He might be hungry there mabe more sleeping, Do you have any rations you can give to him,I have heard when you see a Gorgodon there lightsaber crystals to be found. He may turn to be an ally.” She calmly spoke.

Arriving at: Ilum

Came to Ilum in: Blessing of Loste (Dynamic Class Freighter)

Wearing: Hoodlum's Leathers (http://starwarsrp.net/topic/138757-hoodlums-leathers/)

Armed with: Dark Favor (http://starwarsrp.net/topic/138978-dark-favor/)

Laertia's trench knife

With: Moya (http://starwarsrp.net/topic/138583-alchemized-biot-moya-virtu/)

It had been a long time since she had come to Ilum.

Since joining The AIE, Laertia had decided that if she was going back to battle then it was best to connect with her roots. She hadn't brought her lightsaber. That was because she was here to make a new one. She had instead brought only her shotgun and her trench knife, as well as the necessary parts to construct a new blade. Ilum mostly came in blue and green crystals, so she figured she would pick green, but if blue called to her she would go with that. But she was also here for something else...an old piece of equipment she knew to be here based on discovering an old De Lifte Family hideout that indicated its presence here. Some ancient heirloom of Moya De Lifte herself, the woman whose resemblance was born by her artificial caretaker.

She was dressed in her street wear, which doubled as armor, a black spiky jacket that was well insulated. Her sawn off, double barreled shotgun, an old antique she had bought in a pawnshop as a kid and used for years was holstered to her right thigh, a bandoleer of shotshells, mostly electric and incendiary, slung over her shoulder. Her knuckle duster double edged trench knife in a black sheath strapped to her left thigh. Her quarters aboard her old, beat up frieghter, the interior painted pink with black polka dots and lined with shelves of framed photos of her and the band of Jedi Shadows she had once been a member of. There were also photos of her various pet rabbits that she sometimes used in her magic acts. The frames had red and blue hearts of varying sizes painted on the antique wood frames.

Laertia had never actually been to Ilum to construct a lightsaber. She had gone to Ilum to kill a Sith attempting to corrupt an old jedi chapel in the mountains but she had never taken a crystal from this place.

Laertia didn't like using natural crystals normally. She wasn't against using them in a pinch of course but she preferred the advantages of synthetics. Her first two lightsabers had had synthetic crystals at their core. Normal blades felt too loose to her for some reason.

Laertia finished preparing as the ship landed on the cold surface and she put a knit cap over her very black hair. The scars on her face from the shrapnel marred an otherwise lovely appearance, her pale skin lit by the white glow of the lamp above. She strode out of her quarters...and collapsed immediately as a migraine started and she could barely think, let alone move. She had had to lay off her medicine to avoid damage to her internal organs. The pain was so great that in that moment she knew she would be tempted to climb into her power armor to relieve the agony as she silently rolled a little in pain on the floor of her old ship, disoriented and forgetting where she was for a second, everything feeling sluggish before the agony receded, everything coming back to her in the process as she stood up. She wanted her rabbits. She went to the cargo hold, where her magician equipment was stored. Her rabbits, each kept in a large comfy, spacious pen all gathered closer to their transparisteel pen doors when they spotted her.

Laertia opened the door of her black furred Rabbit named Durasteel, petting and kissing the rabbit's ears and head and stroking its soft back with her fingers, the rabbit nuzzeling against her. She petted it another few minutes before putting it back and taking each rabbit out in turn, repeating the process. She had raised all of them from babies. She felt better after that and stood up.

"You don't have to torture yourself you know..."

Laertia spun and spotted her biot caretaker, Moya, clad in long, heavy brown robes armed with her silvery lightsaber. She was escorting Laertia to the temple, since while off her medication and having no way to mitigate her medical condition which was unpredictable, it was actually an extremely bad idea for her to get into a fight. Crawling into the power armor she had retrofitted would instantly make it all more bearable...

"I don'tz wanntz to becomez duhpenndantz onn itt, Moya. I gotzta bee abul too tollerayte duh payne reggulaarlee." Laertia responded.

Moya sighed. Getting involved with the Jedi again was a bad idea, but she kept her peace. It was Laertia's choice. Her burden.

Laertia and the Biot walked down the ramp to the ancient temple, Moya drawing the extra warm robes to her body as she escorted Laertia to the ancient temple entrance, seeing flickers of blue and green amidst the snow. Laertia sensed at far distance two Jedi at the distance and grew a little tense as she sensed the giant animal there.

"Hiya, follkz..." Laertia said awkwardly but with as much enthusiasm as she could, giving a small smile. Moya gave a small bow to both.

"Yoo tooz needz hellpz wit a gyannt monnsturr?" Laertia asked, her injured brain suddenly giving her a bout of unwanted stage fright. She didn't hold their gaze for long.
