Telos the Truth [The Primeval dominion of Telos]

Objective: Snowball fight!
Location: Outside the temple.
Allies: [member="Azrael Asura"] | [member="The Smallest One"]
Enemies: [member="Keira Ticon"]

The arrival of a new ally was probably a blessing for the Sith who was now becoming overwhelmed by the sudden appearance of enslaved farmers and settlers. Although Anja was mostly focused entirely on the fight at hand she would lend assistance however she could if things got too tough.

Keira, on the other hand, was using playful banter as always. Shouldn't she know by now that words didn't irritate her? Nonetheless without realizing it too, Anja could feel a strange connection with the Dark Jedi herself, perhaps it was just from the fighting but it went beyond the force. Rather than answer, she went in close, aiming to step on the Jedi's foot and hopefully pushing her back to which the hilt of her blade would then be aimed towards the opponent's throat. The witch was attempting to throw her opponent off balance and control the pace of the fight, her milky blue eyes gazed into Keira's throughout. The heart inside her chest pounded vigorously as the battle began.

Location: Inside at the front doors
Objective A - 2: Kill the Jedi and her apprentices.

I followed after the little Jedi. Really there was only one way to go down. This hallway. Seeing as how I was alone, I however could hear talking back behind me. Deciding to amp up the game, I drew my sword. And in a flash, anyone that had the force would feel a spike in the darkside. The sword strengthening me. Yet it also tainted me. I could feel it's power within my hand as I walked along the hall. Scraping the tip of the blade on the ground.

"Run, run as fast as you can."

I smiled as the scraping of the sword left marks in the ground. The heavy footfalls with the clank of scaled armor came with every step I took. I could see in the dark as the same Jedi Padawan looked from behind another corner. Only to vanish behind it once more. I continued on. Stalking after them like a feral Nexu after their prey.

"I'll catch you, because I'll slaughter you like a lamb."

Objective: Z - Slug around aimlessly/Whip anything that moves too fast... or too slow... or at all... or doesn't... whip everything.

Truth be told, Zambrano had little memory of how he got here, where here was, why he was here. Truth be told also, he generally didn't give a kark about things like that. Regardless, ever the eccentrically minded, the Warlord had been wandering on his own when the Temple closed, not even bothering to engage with the rest of the group. He'd visit them later, obviously for their own good. You see, the thing is this: this isn't just any ordinary temple, this was a Jedi temple, and it had Jedi artifacts, and some Jedi still running the show.

"Jedi..." The seemingly foreign word rang quietly through the cavernous hall. Just saying the word prompted the need to thrash at something, his whip connecting with the wall harmlessly, as he pressed his free hand into his welt covered head. He coughed, and blood and mucus was once more expelled, as was often the case. There was no hate in the word, or the saying of it... it just... hurt. There was no explaining it, and the Hutt possessed no level of rationality or sanity to come to conclusion as to why it might hurt. One might even go as far as saying he didn't care why... he was no scientist looking for the answer for the universe. He didn't even care what caused it, when it was caused, where it was caused, how it was caused, or really any other question word followed by the word "caused". Zambrano was a creature purely in the present tense, his past being filled with overwhelming pain, misery, and isolation, and his future looking no less bleak, he had little choice. Not that he ever had a choice, none of his actions were actually voluntarily thought out, merely impulses and inhibitions of those impulses that shaped his every action.

Thus today, among all other days, the Hutt was most susceptible to violence, because he was surrounded by the subconscious reminder that he had fallen deeply over the past four centuries from his once envious position as being one with the force. He was corrupted by pride, and now lorded over it whether he intended to or not. None could match his stubbornness, to have forced himself out of balance in order to protect his legacy, only to become the corruption itself and persist involuntarily for the next forty decades in order to ensure that despite everything that legacy continued. Truly, he was among the bleakest characters in the galaxy...

As the mob set upon her, the dark woman was forced to unload her gun's entire ammo capacity into the five ragged warriors that converged on her, their abdomens ripped and fried by the blasts at near-point-blank range. The wave had been staved off, but now she was out of power. Another reloading of her weapon would most likely spell doom.

Then a voice rang inside her head--annoying, at best. Aid?

Well, it did seem to have the local 'militia' distracted for the moment, performing a morbid and quite inefficient assassination of one of them. Oh, well. It was buying her time to reload her weapon after all.

The Sith returned her attention to the ample supply of targets and resumed fire--this time taking care to avoid shooting the dinosaur thing that thought it was a commander. How cute.

Objective: Escape the Academy and fight Jedi
Of all the places she wished to avoid in the galaxy was the place she ended up trapped in. A Jedi Academy. Memories and more memories of the days when she walked side by side with Jedi continued to flood her mind. She didn't hate them, she pitied them. Well, except for her former Master she hated him. She tried to play the perfect Jedi but in the end she failed. Not because she was weak but because they were weak and to bossy. Being a Vahla, the Darkside coursed through her like blood courses through living things. They wanted her to expel it, but to her it was liking expelling an important part of who she was. In the end, she killed her Jedi Master. And here she was in their backyard.

She tried to move through the halls avoiding any confrontation with the Jedi. They had reports a Jedi and her Apprentices were skulking about and if she was destined to face them, then so be it. Since she was unable to speak still, her options with dealing with them were very limited. And without her best friend Tag around to speak on her behalf, she knew nothing good would come out of a confrontation. Either they would kill her or she would be forced to kill them. Or worse, they may even try to convert her back to their way of life. If it was her choice, she would choose death than sitting there listening to them preach and preach and preach.

They stopped shooting at him. That was, really, the only reason why he spoke in the first place. Not to get them to praise him or thank the Gods their over-sized lizard was back. Really, he just wanted them to stop wasting their ammo on his impressive reptilian scales. Despite his intentions, a few of the R.A.F. (Reptilian Armed Forces, a smaller, but elite unit of the Primeval) cheered at his appearance. For a few days now they had been relying on the orders of his HRD assistant, Everyn Diaago, to know what to do. Although they could tear into enemy troops like few others... most weren't terribly bright on their own. Part of that could potentially be due to their species. Most were Barabels, a good portion were Trandoshans, and about fifty were Vidvhansaka. The last of those being the only generally well-educated kind. Azrael himself was a De'Nochsax, a large lizard species known for their hellish appearance, many limbs, and incredible intelligence. Kind of over-powerful compared to the average humanoid. Which was why most of the universe was glad that so few of them still existed in modern times. Otherwise they'd be controlling everything! Probably! Having even one on a battlefield could, at times, determine how the fight would go. Especially when the one present was a master of the force. Unfortunately our Rael wasn't quite to that point yet.

But he could still kick some serious ass.

"Azrael has come to join us! Fight! Fight for our father! For our Gods!" One of the Barabels called, letting out a shrill cry before rejoining the fight with renewed vigor. Seeing his commander enter the fray was enough to fill him with reptilian pride. He was not the only one who felt that way. The dozen or so R.A.F. members stationed outside the Temple started working harder. Usually there would be at least 50 of them (out of their roughly 250 members), but Everyn and some of the others were locked inside the complex. Only a single squad remained in the cold. Six Barbs. Four Doshans. Three Vhans. A good amount. With their dark father with them they'd be able to accomplish much. With that in mind Azrael quickly spoke to his men (and only them), telling them to keep the attackers off of the Host Lord, along with the woman who appeared to be her guard. Meanwhile he would deal with those in the immediate area. Taking down twenty of them shouldn't be that hard. Right? Yeah. Definitely. 'Grinning' the beast activated all four of his blades (two regular red, two yellow club-styles), clicked his mandibles together (for echolocation, of course. his eyesight was to weak to rely fully upon), and started fighting. Within ten seconds he had stabbed two foes in the center of their chests, lobbed the heads off of two others, crushed another skull with his bare hand, and thrown another man five meters back, so his cranium smacked into the ground.

It was fun.

*Destiny had fought her way outside of the old Jedi temple. She was alone this time, simply lending aid to the Primeval. Upon exiting a large battle could be seen to have broken out. She joined in, using her physical strength and prowess to fight the zombie like group. She needed the practice, and she would get it. Two farmers ran at her aggressively only to find their necks snapped. She pulled out her classic Westar 34's and began working on others at range when there were non close enough. This was the definition of a low risk effort, and knowing the Primeval something bad was bound to befall them.*

Four Gulandi approached the scene, alerted by the sound of blaster fire outside the temple. Quickly they rushed over to put an end to the farmers and settlers that were seemingly possessed. Armed with blades, the corrupted Sephi charged into the fray and began to cut down on any opponent in sight. Rallied battle cries and the sound of blades clashing broke the ambiance, snow soaked in blood trailed with their footprints. Even with their aid it seemed that an entire settlement at the least must've been under their control... More and more rushed up the slopes to defend the temple.

This was no tactic of a Jedi, whoever did this was indeed a force-user but the dark side was strong in this power. Perhaps the unpredictable power in these times had lead to a far more potent form of mind trickery? Even though there were so many questions the world seemed uninterested in providing time for answering. Battle raged, soldiers and denizens clashed, people were dying.

At least they could give their Host Lord time to finish off her enemy.

An annoying, grinding sound echoed across the underground halls, and Laguz briefly wondered if their breaching of the long-sealed subterranean Temple of the Jedi had awakened something that had been sleeping in the depths, lurking and waiting for such a day to come.

The shifter dismissed it all as silly thoughts, however, and adjusted xir grip on the weapon in xir hands. Whatever monstrosity dwelt in that inky abyss — if any — would suffer a quick and painless death by the virtue of xir true aim. If there was one learned skill xe really excelled at, it was shooting.

And if anything got into xir way that day, Laguz would gladly prove it.

They kept coming and coming--strange people who could have passed for normal if they were not charging the temple. That was something the Sith assumed they did not do every day. And if they did, well, they were even crazier. Something was controlling them, and it was not some Project X by the Primeval R&D.

The dark woman had racked up a high kill count, to say the least. She had had a close call there, but now she felt in control. Her final power cell completely drained, the hooded figure holstered her gun and retrieved her lightsaber, igniting the blade without a pause. But who to attack? She had the crazies to the right (who seemed to be held in check by the Royal Air Force, or the Lizard Patrol, or whatever that abbreviation meant) and the Host Lord's rival to her left.

She would stand there for now; let someone give the signal. This was not her sort of game, but she would apply herself where it was most necessary.

Still, she was kind of leaning towards attacking the dark Jedi.

It seemed that the girl had been uninterested in following the croke's arbitrary command and instead attached istelf to the thing as he had come to call it. Few of the scouting party had taken the path that he had chosen, none of them aside from he were more... important members such as the Bleeding Sun. It mattered not. the doorway on the other side of the pillar of greater girth in the entrance room was left open. Strange. It's mouth led into more inky blackness. Sprouting from it was a long bridge but that was all that could be seen. Without more lighting there was no way that Ebenezer could tell what lied ahead. Or, more likely he could, but what he managed to hold at this moment could be described as "wobbly" at best, he didn't want to risk tampering with the force further than he already had.
As they approached further it became obvious that what lied in front of them was a cylindrical building indeed. No, there was something afoot here. But What? What was lying in wait for this band of ne're-do-wells?

According to everything xe'd noted so far, the Sith crybaby wasn't coming along; oh, well. Laguz preferred to work solo anyway, so xe wasn't very heartbroken over the fact. The next chance xe got, the shifter ducked out of sight, transforming xir body as xe did. Towards the floor, shed the fur, the fat, the hide — they were no longer needed underground — spawning adhesive feet even as xe reduced in mass and size. Withing nary a blink, the shifter was no bigger than a household cat, scurrying across the smooth metal surface and deeper into the maze of corridors.

Xe'd done xir best to memorize the map even before they'd arrived on Telos, and the place, in the end, wasn't all that big. A couple of mistakes were made, but the sniper always backtracked, sticking to walls and ceilings instead of the ground to avoid detection by either allied and potential enemy forces. The small legs carried xir breezily around, and finally the shifter found what xe'd been looking for; the bridge. Laguz only spared a single glance at the gaping darkness below before shrugging it off and slithering to the underside of the pathway, intent on reaching the chamber on the other side before anybody else.

When those little legs came to a stop in front of the now ancient door, the casual observer would be regaled with a rather nasty sight; the shifter reached inside xir own body, extracting one of the tools xe'd brought along. Who goes into ancient ruins without a plasma torch? The inexperienced and the fools, that's who. Since Laguz was neither, xe wasted no time tearing the entrance wide open, not unlike a hungry man would rip into a can of tinned food after going without for weeks. Greed throbbed in xir ever changing veins as the pieces of metal melted and fell away, the flickering light of the flame warming up the long-abandoned interior.

So close.

Telos wasn’t a planet with a lot of luck, bombardments, officials who were corrupt to a concerning degree, jedi academies which only brought them more into the light of day, it wasn’t ever a good thing to live on that particular world. Neither was it today with the Primeval descending upon it like a horde of… hordes.

But that wasn’t what Irani was concerned about, he, as the persona of Darth Carach did not particularly care what would happen to the Telosians after the Primeval was done with its conversion rate, truthfully the only reason he was here was because of an appointment.

An appointment and the promise that if the Sith helped conquer Telos, that Korriban would be spared from further indignation, which was for the Voice of the Dark Lord a truly just cause.

Currently Irani was sitting in the waiting room of a luxurious building, waiting for one of the corrupt officials to give him entry so they could start the negotiation treaties. It was an important day.

Marth had been staying behind with the others, trapped inside the academy though not doing all that much. Was it the sense of no freedom? Or maybe he'd just had a bad day. Wasn't that easy to tell. The Umbaran walked along, through the dark hallways. He had narrow eyes, rifle in hand with his lightsabre clipped to the back of his belt. He had the barrel pointed down, slowly patrolling the academy, looking for any artifacts of value. Nothing so far. Then, a figure flashed past. He blinked, must have been that Jedi. Marth gave chase, quickly running ahead to the end of the corridor, watching as it ran. He ran for a few moments before stopping at the sight of [member="Nickolas Imura"]. He nodded, "We going after that thing..?" He asked.

Telos.

It was a world famed for being destroyed. Thousands of years ago, beyond the Old Empire, the Old Republic, and long before the Gulag Plague Telos had been a massively prosperous planet. It had held agricultural ties, business, and industrial ties, everything that a modern developing world required in order to function. Yet all that had been ground into a halt by the Sith.

Telos like dozens of other worlds had been ground into dust. Destroyed by conflict and bombarded into nothingness due to petty indifference held by Sith and Jedi alike. Alric knew that theme well, it was one that was happening in the galaxy today, it was one that always seemed to happen.

Of course, Telos had been rebuilt, more than once it had been raised from its status as a death world and brought back to its former glory. This time was no different. That was why he was here today, to help and rebuild, to recapture some of Telos' former glory through the reconstitution of one of its more famed entities.

I continued to walk on. As I turned a corner, it was then from behind me I heard running. Stopping, I looked to see an Umbrian come up. Rather small actually. Still, I continued on answering the question of the apprentice. However, it was clear that I was not happy about now having someone with me. However, that would not change how I would act towards this Jedi

"Yes. I was hunting the Jedi. If you join me, don't get in my way."

He couldn't see it through my helmet, but it was very clear that I did not want him in my way. If he did, likely I would throw him across the room. Physically. I let my sword scrape and continue on walking after the apprentice. Knowing soon enough I would catch her. All she had to do was slip up.

"Come out Jedi. I want to talk about joining the Primeval. Join us and you will be spared."

If I could have one join me, then it would be worth not killing them. if not, then dead she will stay.

As soon as the hole was big enough, Laguz dropped xir tool of choice and snuck inside, much like a cat burglar would enter a sleeping house. Every movement xe made was careful as xe foraged further into the darkness; well, not that it was dark for the shifter, per se, but anybody else would probably be wandering around aimlessly, trying not to trip up on something and fall over. The sniper, however, saw just fine despite the nearly palpable blackness around xem, and proceeded with clear goals in mind.

Xir fingers drifted along the diagonal walls, sweeping up centuries' worth of dust and debris. A different individual might feel like they were desecrating something holy, something untainted and immaculate, but Laguz knew better. Oh, did xe ever. The shifter had done xir share of reading on the planet, utilizing xir age-old connections to get access to material others couldn't. Erased, classified files and data thought forever lost had been made available to the hunter, and xe exploited this advantage without a shred of shame.

One by one, the treasures of the ancient chamber were engulfed by the morphing body, disappearing without a trace.

It would certainly not be easy.

Not by any stretch of the imagination. Titan Industries was no involved in rebuilding more than half a dozen worlds, the largest of them being Corellia. Yet Alric knew that this was an opportunity that he could not pass up. Telos was by all accounts one of the most famed worlds in the galaxy, that and Titans relationship with The Primeval was already strong, if he could rebuild Citadel Staiton then it would cement that relationship.

They could use the station for whatever they pleased, and Alric would gain something great.

A new Corporate headquarters in the quadrant of the galaxy, and production facilities to aid in both terraforming and the creation of new technologies.

It was an opportunity that Alric recognized, and as Titan Industries came into the Telos system with all of the necessary things to recreate the massive orbital station Alric knew that this little project would be successful. It would take time without doubt, but it would create something great, something that Titan Industries could tout to the galaxy.

The fight continued, more and more enemies swarmed the point and even the barricades of dead flesh -- previous victims -- seemed to be less and less and obstacle for the fearless denizens. Madness! Despire having cut down at least a dozen, one of the Gulandi Sephi finally perished when a pike drove through his chest and ruptured an artery. It was a rather quick death, bleeding out for less than a minute before succumbing to shock as the heart and other vital organs shut down. His three brethren were not concerned; death was nothing for a Gulandi to fear. The fight would continue until the were victorious or defeated, there was no retreat, and even if they were ordered to the likeliness of their obedience was shy of anything worth counting on.

In the distance a tower of rising smoke could be seen, it seemed wherever they came from it was likely they had set their homes on fire for reasons that were their own... It became quite obvious that their indoctrination may not have been intended at all or perhaps they weren't truly indoctrinated but wished to defend the temple for reasons other than obeying their masters. When one of the Gulandi looked back to Anja Aj'Rou and her duel, it made things far more chaotic. This was not the galaxy of legend...

This was galaxy at war.
