SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Assault Droid serves as a large heavy weapons platform to support infantry and other vehicles in the field with its M-44 and M-2 weapons. These weapons give infantry access to hard hitting fast moving supports that can tangle with vehicles across any terrain and can effectively move with the infantry.
  • Heavy armor plating and reinforcements to electrical wiring give this droid the ability to shrug off most ion weapons, including grenades.
  • Battle Fists allow these droids to tear down objects that would normally be in the way, or in cases where ammunition is depleted, be an alternative and brutal method of attack where the droid literally tears the vehicles, or building apart.
STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Firepower - This droid carries the M-44 Autocannon, and M-2 Heavy Machine Gun, both of which are very heavy, anti-everything and anti-smaller everything weapon systems. This droid also carries with it enough ammunition to keep these guns firing for a long time, unless you'd preferred to be literally torn apart with the battle fists.
  • Relatively fast and agile - This droid is meant to support he infantry, and so it was design to keep up with infantry and to a lesser extent, vehicles that would be carrying infantry into battle. The real key point here is though, that terrain that would normally deny infantry access to utilizing heavy weapons isn't a problem anymore because you have a 5 meter tall walking tank that's carrying a really big gun.
WEAKNESSES
  • It's a lot dumber than the previous model - Where the TCD-1 focuses on highly "intelligent" and adaptable droids to fill out the ranks of infantry squads, this droid doubles down on brute strength. It can't really think very well on its own, and while it may learn a few things, it simply doesn't have the spare CPU to try and reach the level of the TCD-1 in levels of free thinking and adaptability. Don't use this alone, keep other units in support to give it direction.
  • EMP/Ion resistance can be worn down - Another thing like it's little brother is the shielding against EMP/Ion weapons, however this droid doesn't have the same level of shielding as there's simply too much droid to cover. This means that while it can tank a few hits from dedicated ion weapons, it won't last forever.
DESCRIPTION
Designed in tandem with the TCD-1 the TCD-2, otherwise known as "The Heavy", takes the mantra bigger is better and runs with it. This droid is armed with an M-44 and M-2 weapon systems for use to systematically destroy whatever is put in front of it, and the only thing that's safe from these weapons are super heavy vehicles. Designed as a support for dismounted infantry to give them essentially mobile 35mm autocannons that can walk around but also move into assaults with them, these droids fill that role extremely well. And while they are a lot "dumber" than their smaller brothers, they make up for it with sheer firepower, and the ability that should they ever run out of ammo, they can literally tear apart most of what's in front of them without any issues. So essentially, if you have a problem, you can throw enough of these at it and it will cease to be so. Because if they can't shoot it, they'll just tear it apart. And with support like that, any dismounted infantry unit will be absolutely unstoppable in the field of battle.
