Tatooine's Looney Lifestyle.

Caelen_Tercept

Got an interest with a Twi'Lek~?
There was something that always drew Tercept back to Tatooine. He didn't understand it, really. But he always liked the sands. Either way, he traveled on towards the main, lively part of tatooine, mos eisley. He looked around with an interest to everyone, heading around towards the 'alleyways' of the town, climbing on one of the smaller buildings to sit down. He looked about with his newly inclined vantage point, looking for something to do.

Valae placed her hands on her hips and breathed a content sigh. It was nice to be home. The twin suns were high in the Tatooine sky, and the streets of Mos Eisley were as busy as they always were. Of course, there were all sorts of folk walking about today -- a wide variety, in fact. Some of the moisture famers had come into town for a break, spacers walked the alley ways, and mercenaries looking for contacts.
What was Valae's reason for being in Mos Eisley?

Oh, she was just here to kill some time. Currently staying back at her family's scrap yard, she had come just for the amusement. Her home was a bit of a sorry sight at the moment, and she wanted a break from her attempt at cleaning. Walking along the dusty street, she let her gaze wander about at will. So far, it was the same ol' stuff -- but her eyes widened slightly.

There was a man climbing along one of the smaller buildings. Valae shaded her eyes with her palm, and watched as he took a seat on one of the rooftops. "Hmm, interesting place to sit." She mused to herself.

Tercept did glance up at the suns, but of course, he didn't mind them. For right now, that is. His hand would move from the front of his head to the tip of the lekkus, feeling the scars they had from the nails of...Someoneeee. Either way, he glazed along the crowd, stopping at the sole woman, looking her up and down quickly examining for weapons or items. Since he was (hopefully) facing away from the sun, he raised his hand in a confused wave, unsure of what to do. Removing a disc from his belt, he'd deploy it infront of him, forming a tiny pit droid. It'd look around, then up to the sun, and back down, seemingly regretting it's decision. It had a cute Jawa blaster, and on it's 'thigh' was a folded stun stick. He pointed towards her, and 'pit'(It's name.) would oblige, going to walk off. Caelen would go to grab it, but it'd be too late, as it would fall face first, standing up and rapidly wiping it's camera, before going to stumble towards her. It was much shorter than the others, it being two feet instead of three. Tercept just shrugged towards her, casually waiting.

This was where Zesiro had grown up, but she had little to no memory of it now. Something had happened when she was about twelve that had taken her memory away. Now ten years later, she had relearned some of it. The last time she had been here was several months ago with her sister, now she came alone.

Landing her ship at the spaceport, Zesiro exited that and headed out into the streets. They were more alleys than streets, covered in sand and not paved. Traffic was hectic and she stayed along side as she chose to walk instead of taking a speeder.

She was here for her own business and not any dealing with a mission or anything, so wore what she used to wear before. It had been a long time since wearing such trampy outfits, she had almost forgotten how it turned heads her direction. Smiling a little as she heard the conversations stop around her as she passed. Nobody approached her though and for now she was fine with that.

Valae's eyebrows rose slowly, watching the man offer an awkward kind of wave. She took a couple of steps towards his rooftop perch, about to wave back... when he deployed a small droid. She watched as it seemed to stumble about, and eventually fell. A light chuckle escaped her, and she approached the droid.

"You okay?" She asked, kneeling down.

Next, she glanced up towards the man on the roof. "Hi there," She called. "Nice little droid you have here."

Her voice was friendly, inviting further conversation and hopefully demonstrating that she meant no harm. For the moment, it seemed that the attention of those on the streets were... drawn towards another. Valae merely blinked, and looked back up towards the Twi'lek.

Caelen would obviously notice something along the lines of that. All in all, he'd be slightly pulled away from her, but shook his head. Not everyone who wore stuff like that was bad. But he couldn't help but mutter the simple Twi'lek phrase of "Shutta." before looking back to where his pit droid was currently advancing. He saw the small pit droid go, so happy and nice!

The pit droid would look up at her, her being the destination, as it held the jawa blaster happily, standing at attention.

"Thanks. He's my little soldier." He'd state, looking at him, and hopping down, kneeling and patting it's head, before it would go back into it's compact version. He picked it up, and put it back on his belt "It's a nice way to meet new people. Like a dog. I call him my wingman." He said, holding out his hand. "Caelen Tercept. Rebel Smuggler and Soldier." He'd say, looking back to the trampy-looking gal, before looking back at her with a smile.

"kark you then!" Joran yelled back at the door that just closed on him as he stumbled out on to the streets of Mos Eisley. He made it a good twenty yards before tripping over a small droid being attended to by a young woman and Twi'lek.

"Schutta." Joran cursed as he picked himself back up and dusted himself off. He wheeled round looking for the culprit of his fall and instead of finding the bottle of corellian whiskey he'd spent the morning with he saw [member="Valae Kitra"]

"Sorry, Love. Didn't see you there." Joran said just a little slurred. Nothing embarassing but enough to tell he may be a bit tipsy.

A man was shoved out onto the street almost running her down as she walked past one of the random doorways along the alley she was in. He stumbled another several yards before he was able to regain his footing. That man was certainly a few drinks into the day and it was pretty early yet for that, at least in Zesior's opinion.

"Whoa!"

Jerking back in surprise, as the man stumbled past her and found herself looking at two others and some sort of droid. The other two had already noticed her, but hadn't said anything and just resumed their own conversation.

"Yeah, sorry for getting in your way, buddy."

Valae chuckled when the Twi'lek compared his faithful droid to a dog. And she held her own hand out as well, her smile grew wider. Indeed the little droid had done his job, it was a very good conversation piece.

"I'm Valae Kitra, Jedi healer." She said, "Nice to meet you, Caelen."

But just then, the hulking form of a man came bustling out of a nearby building. Valae had to jump out of the way rather quickly to avoid being run over. Unfortunately, the droid wasn't so lucky. The large man's foot caught up on the small droid, and sent him tumbling.

Valae's mouth formed a small frown. It was easily apparent that this man had been taking to the bottle. It was a familiar sort of thing for her, as her own father had been a rather notorious drunk. However, she tried her best not to judge. And the 'flashy' woman that she'd glimpsed earlier had approached.

She offered a simple nod, and stepped to the side to allow room for everyone to recover.

"Looks like this is a popular spot!" She remarked with a grin.

"Collapse." He'd say, to the now confused and disoriented droid. After a moment, it did indeed compact itself, where he grabbed it and belted it to him again. "...Yeah, guess so." He'd say, looking to the jedi healer. "A healer, huuuh. They have those now? I mean...My little guy can heal." He shrugged, looking to the slightly tipsyed man. A simple sigh, unable to do much, he just let it go. "Oh well. Anyway, hum...Guess you're good at your job, right?" He asked, leaning back casually, examining the three. It would've been slightly noted that area cleared by just a little, but that didn't say much. It was still bustling with people. CAelen simply examined them all, shedding his trench coat, and revealing the two weapons on his back: A bowcaster and an ion launcher. He'd fold it and, it seemed to have a little string with it. Sure enough, Velcro and whatnot, it became a neat little pack. Slinging it on, he looked to the others.

Koran finished dusting off his clothes the best he could. His attire was pretty simple today. Black combat boots, white cargo pants and a white tank, all of which was a healthy dirt color now. He finished fusing himself off and kept on walking. It seemed he had interuppted the two beings and he wasn't going to over stay his welcome.

He walked off only fifty meters or so and decided it was too damn hot and just sat down with his back against a wall lighting a cigar and wishing he had a drink.

Tatooine a place perfect for someone like her, crowded, hot like Ryloth and a lot of business opportunity to be had, but at the moment the only thing she was doing was taking some weight off her shoulders after the last job, she walked out of the bar stretching her arms "ahh what a nice day, no law enforment chasing me for one, just me time to spend my credits".

She decided to take a small walk around the place, perhaps the vendors would have something worth selling, while walking she passed [member="Joran Del-Finn"] but didnt take much not of him besides that he seemed to hoot for his own comfort, "hey bud you look like your about to die from heat stroke".

Shaking her head and growling under her breath, Zesiro resumed walking in the direction she had been before. The guy that had almost run into her, had picked himself up off the ground after colliding with the other female in front of her with the twi'lek and droid. She watched as he dusted himself off and walked away before sitting down again against the side of a different building.

Walking over to the couple in the road, Zesiro nodded to the woman before speaking, "are you ok? Saw he ran into you, guess I got lucky and he missed me."

Looking at the man, she nodded to him as well.

"I'm Zesiro."

Valae smiled at Caelen, "Healers aren't really a new thing, friend. Been around ages, in fact." She offered a good-natured laugh, "Nice that you're little droid can heal too -- it must be handy."

Her eyes shifted slightly to find the tipsy fellow, and she watched as he sank down against a wall. It was probably a good idea that he'd chosen to sit down. Of course, Valae was well-capable of revitalizing him... but she left him to simply rest and recover for the time being.

And it seemed that a Twi'lek woman had approached him.

But Valae's attention was drawn to the woman in flashy clothes. Despite the conclusions one might draw based on the way she was dressed, the other woman was seemed to be friendly enough. She smiled and gave a nod.

"No harm done," She said with a chuckle, "Nice to meet'cha, Zesiro."

Being a native of Tatooine, she felt at home -- even if she hadn't been around much recently. Nevertheless, she was always curious as to what brought others here to the desert.

"So, what brings y'all to Mos Eisley?" She asked with a friendly grin to Zesiro and Caelen.

"Weren't around when I was suffering from multiple blaster wounds." He joked, and shook his head. "Eh, I'm more of a 'secluded' like my father. Been on Endor, newsman doesn't travel to give mail to the Ewoks, miss." He'd add in, nodding and crossing his arms "And, hey there, Zesiro. Caelen Tercept. I'd give out my full title but...I don't want the residents to kick me out this fast." He chuckled. "And, I prefer seeing others of my kind, even if they're a tad sparse here, it's better than seeing none, honestly. Either way, though, I prefer the heat. Something different other than constant humidity and shade. Eh." Another shrug with a smirk, as he seemed to be listening. "Hang on." He'd go around back of the building. "Oh. Jawas didn't screw you yet. Good." With his own friendly laugh, and a small metallic pat, he returned back to them, looking amongst them all. "Oh well. Being really honest I like this place. S'where I found Pit, too." He'd then look over at Tin'tinag, smiling. "See? I find others of my kind here."

Kyrel was a storm of anger and frustration, he had found out a day ago in Vader's Castle on Mustafar, that his apprentice had run off, unwise for her she did not tell him. This had made him angry beyond belief. He knew that he would go after her, and after some time tracking her whereabouts he had learned that she had traveled to the Tatooine system. He grinned underneath his mask and went to the hanger where the Reaper was waiting for him.
Within hours the ship was out of Mustafar's atmosphere and was en route into hyperspace as quickly as he could. His rage boiling within him, he kept thinking of the things he would do to the woman when he did get his hand on her of course. For now, he was more focused on getting to Tatooine. He meditated on his anger throughout the entire trip, and within several hours the Ship dropped from hyperspace and from the view he could see the rock in front of him. He grabbed the control yokes, and the ship descended slowly through the atmosphere. He quickly found a landing pad in the middle of the desert and put the Reaper in it's landing cycle.
He walked down the landing ramp, his rage palpable, as he saw a couple of workers. He activated his blood shine blade, and within moments he decapitated them. He allowed their deaths to fuel him, and his power in the dark side. He brought his speeder bike out and prepared to go on the hunt, then he had stopped for a moment as if he had just been petrified. He looked around and muttered a word in curiosity. "Jedi!" This was his lucky day indeed, he reached out with the Force, and sensed several Force Signatures including that of his apprentice. He then got on the bike and began zooming through the dune sea. He said in a mixture of anger and excitement. "This day just became even more interesting, then it already is."

Zesiro nodded at the words of Valae and listened to what Caelen had to say. At the mention of Endor, Zesiro let out an almost imperceptible shudder. That was one place she never wanted to go back to if she could avoid it.

"Full title? I just have one name."

Turning her attention back to the other woman, she considered her answer as to what had brought her here. They had just met so she was reluctant to say she was trying to find her past to them. She hadn't been near enough when Valae gave her name, but decided not to press that issue. If she wanted Zesiro to know, she would tell her, she was sure.

At that moment, Caelen walked away excusing himself and returned a few minutes later with another droid of some sort. When he returned, he nodded his head in the direction of another twi'lek and Zesiro's eyes followed his. After a brief glance at the two against the side of the building, she turned her attention back to the Jedi. There was something about the woman that stood out to her. Zesiro could not place what it was though. Giving a mental shake and pushing the feeling out of her mind she sensed her master had arrived.

She wasn't intentionally avoiding him or even running away from him. Wanting to know of her past had drawn her here and she had come without telling him. The last time she had done something like this, she had escaped severe punishment, but knew this time would be different.

"Just doing a bit of research."

Answering the question that had been posed, Zesiro kept the fact that Kyrel was approaching and hoped to get out to the home where she had grown up before he found her with these people.

While Valae ventured into town, Arisa had been content to remain at her residence/scrapheap on the outskirts. When her friend had provided her a tour of the place, Arisa was reminded of her own childhood on Plexis, where she would often dive through dumps looking for pieces of tech to salvage and/or resell for credits and food.

Currently, she sat alone at a workbench within the domed compound, tinkering with some ancient BB unit she had picked out of the small scrapheap. The chassis was busted, with carbon scoring indicating that it had been in some kind of firefight. BBs like this had been used as
astromech back in the day, she recalled. Since then, starfighters' onboard computers had gotten so advanced that astromech droids weren't really needed for spot maintenance anymore.

Much of the circuitry remained intact, surprisingly, but the power source was long gone. From the Tumbleweed, she had retrieved a spare ditatium cell to serve as a temporary power source.

First came some rewiring to couple the cell with the droid's power cables, then she would start experimenting flipping the thing off and off while figuring out how to its droid brain running. About a half an hour of soldering and resoldering later in a process of elimination, the large main photoreceptor on its domed head would flicker alive with a faint crimson glow.

She smiled to herself from that small bit of success. A good start.

The man she talked to seemed to not be interested so she kept on her way, deciding that she wasted enough time and should actually do something productive today. Continuing down the street she came across a group of three people, the first was a Twi'lek with some driods, looked like a mechanic sort as well as a rebel, next a a woman with not distinct features beside the fact she could sense they where a force user, the last was a woman whom seemed odd on this planet, she just had this strange felling that they didnt belon here.

She walked towards the group indication with her lekku 'hello' to the other twi'lek but not speaking to the other two as of yet, though she only had a small bounty on her head getting involved with a possible Jedi and first order member might prove to be difficult.
