In relation to this, sometimes I am tagged and other times I am not....is it the ' in my name? I know several people who have told me they hit @mention and it still didn't work.

[member="Ki'an Karr"], if I'm right, the apostrophe in your name is the problem. If you have a special character in your name as one of the three first characters, the easy mentioning way (@name) shouldn't work. But you can still be tagged, using this code:

But it does promote problems, so I suggest taking the apostrophe out of your name.
