Objective B: Military Barracks

The Matador landed on his knee, free hand extended as he placed a force barrier between himself and the Mandalorian. The next grenade blast was slightly muffled, however the explosion knocked the massive warrior on his back regardless. The Matador used the momentum, throwing his arms back and landing upright, dashing outward and past the next grenade. Oribuir reaching the weapon, knocking it from his hands and splintering the Mandalorians wrists. The brown armoured warrior staggered backward, grappling at his wrist with one hand as his head danced between his shoulders, fumbling with his wounds as Oribuir entered his stomach; cutting through organ and crushing Beskar metal and Plasteel weave.

Just beyond the other building, the Golden Mandalorian, their leader was with the last remaining Mandalorian on his team; having him a Vibro-dagger. "Go high, and for the throat." The Golden Mandalorian dropped down, raising his rifle as he fired at the Matador, charging at him as fast as he could. The Matador turned his focus, reflecting the bolts away with his sword as he felt a sharp pain on his neck as the other Mandalorian landed on his back, driving a dagger against the magnetic current of the Mag-Coil armour. The dagger managed to pierce through for but a moment; digging into his flesh under the body glove of his armour.

A metal pincer like hand shot upward, grappling his throat and throwing the body at the Golden Mandalorian. He ducked, sliding under and dropping into a role as he removed two short blades from his back, looking at the Matador with a steely gaze.

"You'll die. Just like them."

Using her cybernetic implant Kiso leapt over the wall, with the height of a force users, landing in a crouched fashion as she observed the battle so far, [member="The Matador"] seemed to be fighting off a group and Mandos, the battle already greatly in his favor, judging from the dead bodies around. "Well he does not seem to need help right now, Dingo move onto your objective, the rest of you with me, let the force users clean out the remaining defenses". She was unsure about the orders Matador gave to his 300 strong strike team, but she doubted it involved the careful planning of explosive to take down the building with relative ease, it seemed more like 'kill everything in you way'.

"Right e' oh pineapple on my way, want me to cause a huge ruckus and draw their attention for you a squad low blow", he replied with a playful smirk, coming up with vulgar unit names on the fly. "Yes Dingo that would help, but cool off on the sass or I'll have Jess give you a hair cut with her sniper rifle", Markus gave a slightly nerviness chuckle before finally getting serious about the upcoming fight, "of course general, on my way now". With a universal hand signalling half the company started following the expert hacker, making their way to the base of the square triangle main structure of the fort, "Right the rest of you with me were going to make break for the hanger over there, keep your sense up for any enemy ambushes or reinforcements", without waiting for a reply Kiso jumped off the battlements, kicking a mercenary in the face swinging her sabre in a wide motion, the rest of the TAE forces sliding down the side, opening up on the defenders as the scrambled for cover, "finally a fight".

  • Objective A
Valley near Hand of Light compound, Tund

Wolfe smiled, allowing himself a brief moment of relaxation. He was leaning against a rock and by this point he was struggling to stay awake as he slipped in and out of consciousness, but victory was his, today. The fallen Jedi Master, Vendrick of Amar, was dead, having met his demise at the hands of the Lord of Shrouds and his agents, the enemy air support had been neutralized and their compound was about to go up in a mushroom cloud.

Seeing their leader die at the hands of the invader, the morale of the insurgents broke and they retreated back towards the bridge in a panic, herded by the soldiers' blaster fire. The ones in the back were still trying to push forward, but the assault had been halted and in the chaotic press, many either jumped, or were pushed over the side, plummeting to their deaths.

With the air secured, the pilot of the lead Centipede called in the shuttles to airlift them and the soldiers retreated back into the walkers in an orderly fashion, firing at the enemy as they went, some of them forming a defensive perimeter to cordon off access to the AM-AT's by desperate insurgents. The enemy tried to rush forward in a panic, weapons forgotten, seeing only the walkers and the potential escape that they offered. The soldiers just mowed them down and more insurgents died during those few seconds, than during the entire assault.

Wolfe allowed himself to be led by Lyra back to the Centipede without a word, as he wanted to save his remaining strength as much as possible. He and the last soldiers boarded the walkers just as the shuttles came in, special grapplers taking hold of the massive walkers and lifting them into the air as a TIE/Reaper escort fell in alongside them. As the formation flew away from the valley below, Wolfe knew that, though the battle was won, the real war was only just beginning.

When Lyra did not get a response she quickly realized what he wanted and helped him up, she called over another soldier to help her, as she was not very tall, or very strong for that matter, however they were able to make it back to the AT-MT with a few minutes to spare. Lyra used the ascent cable to make her way up to the walker. Once boarded the massive shuttle-craft lifted them off into the sky, they were probably going to be returning to the fleet. As they lifted off she checked her wrist computer one more time. 25 Seconds. The base got smaller and smaller as the shuttles speeded away at high speed. Lyra watched through the view-port, the insurgents skittered around like ants. 15 Seconds. Lyra grabbed some ear buds out of her pocket, selecting a particular song on her wrist computer. 5 Seconds. Lyra then grabbed some aviator sunglasses from her pocket, putting them on just in time for the light show. Boom.

First there was a bright flash, followed by a huge sphere of smoke and fire. A massive shockwave came off of the complex site. The shock-wave traveled across the ground at the speed of sound, kicking up dirt and dust. Anyone fighting at the barracks would surely see it, and probably feel the shockwave as well. The massive fireball began to grow higher and higher, before it formed into the familiar mushroom shape. However instead of that being the end, there was an extra treat. The compound had a sizable ammo dump, all of that ammunition went off in the explosion, decorating the massive fireball with exploding flak shells and bombs, tibanna gas fueled a massive pillar of flame that soon drowned out the distinctive mushroom shape. The smoke pillar was massive and could be seen for miles, and the fire looked beautiful under the setting sun. Many had died in that explosion, sure, but they sure died in one hell of a light show.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"There is nothing we can do" The reactor chief said grimly. "Whoever did this locked us out of the whole system, the pressure is going to build and then, boom. We need to get out."

The men in the room chattered nervously, looking to one another for some sort of console, however one person spoke up, it was Joe, a normal technician.

"What about the Emergency Release Valve Chief?" He said.

"That might work if the place wasn't currently engulfed in a radioactive fire." The Chief Replied

"We cant just sit around doing nothing! We have rad suits we can go in there and save everyone!"

"Don't be stupid kid you are just going to get yourself killed and accomplish nothing, I would much rather save my own hide than die trying to save everyone else's. If you want to die for nothing, then be my guest, we are going to take the emergency escape tunnel out of here, and surrender to the enemy, hopefully we can end up alive at the end of the day."

Joe just scoffed and left the area. How could they just betray the cause like that, it was sickening. All they fought for would be destroyed by people like them. He angrily made his way over to the changing room and put on his rad suit. He then grabbed a toolkit and made his way through the airlock. The inside of the reactor was already on fire, the second he stepped through the airlock he could see flames everywhere, that did not stop him, nothing would stop him. He was going to stop this, even if its the last thing he did.

Launching forward, the Matador swung Oribuir in a wide strike; pushing himself forward on his right foot as he swung with an open left hand. The Golden Mandalorian dodged under the strike, activating his crushguants as he smacked away the Matador's hand with one of his blades, slashing at the Matador's abdomen with his shorter blade; aiming for the spaces between the plates. The Matador pressed himself forward, throwing his shoulder into the Mandalorian and knocking him back into a wall, nearly through it.

The Matador side-stepped, swinging Oribuir in a two handed grip at the staggering warrior; the Mandalorian narrowly dodged the attack; dropping under the blade as it knocked out chunks of duracrete. The Mandalorian rolled to his left, using the momentum of landing on his right foot to launch himself upward, slashing at with both blades at the Matador's throat. Almost predictable, the Matador used the force; tapping into a greater strength, increasing his speed as he pirouetted around his opponent; slashing up his back as he landed. The Matador then turned, side-stepping as he brought his blade around to the Golden Mandalorians left, thrusting the length of the blade bluntly at his upper torso. The Golden Mandalorian raised both his weapons in defence, blocking the blade but allowing the Matador to close the distance.

"Enough games."

He drew close, using his blade's position to thrust the Mandalorian against a wall; his superior weight and strength allowing him to free his right hand, knocking both blades from the Mandalorians as he pushed his own upward, the contradicting force causing the Mandalorian to loose grip as Oribuir pressed against his chest. The Matador released his blades pressure, using his other hand to grapple around the back of the Mandalorians head, flippantly tossing him against the adjacent wall.

"Just like the rest of your people, weak and undisciplined."

The Matador placed Oribuir on his back, slowly walking towards the Mandalorian as he pulled himself to his feet; throwing a weighted punch at the Matador's chest. The fist landed with almost no response from the Metal Beast. The red spectacles collected upon the sweating brow of the man, his cracked helm showing his widening eye. The Matador's hand fell upon his, crushing it into nothing as the pincer like metal fingers curled; crushing bone, metal and flesh. The Matador raised the arm, lifting the broken Mandalorian off his feet.

His other hand extended, using the force to pull one of his own blades from the ground. Their eyes met, he saw it; the life fading from him. Acceptance.

"My face is the last thing your pathetic eyes will ever see." The Matador raised the blade, hacking off the Mandalorians arm and allowing him to crumble on the ground. He dropped the arm, shoving the bloodied blade into the chest of the fallen Mandalorian.

Moments later, the Matador appeared on the battlements; dragging the broken corpse along the battlements by the blade lodged in his chest. His eyes moved to see, as dawn broke on Tund. The Mercenaries, they had begun to surrender, no amount of credits was worth such a death.

"We, are victorious!" The Matador growled, as the Bellators had begun to wipe out the remaining resisting forces within the base. The majority of whom now had either surrendered like their brethren beyond the Gate or had fallen at the hands of the elite forces under the employment of the Hand of Light.

Yet, still. The Matador felt something, this wasn't over. The Hand of Light lived on.

As [member="Salij-Nekt"] kept some of the Jedi busy on the outside he and his phantoms where making there way in, He sent one phantom to flank the Jedi attacking Salij to ease the pressure off of him while he and another phantom headed inside. The beauty of his phantoms is not only can they harm the physical world unlike natural illusions which makes multitasking simple and easy as the illusion he sent forth started its surprise attack on the Jedi.

In the meantime he used Force Body to literally tear into one of the blast shields of the compound and sent his phantom in first to test the waters, fortunately where he was there was no Jedi as of yet no doubt deployed to deal with Salij. He sent his phantom to clear out one side of the base while he went down another, All was quiet for a moment atleast until a Jedi leaped out light grazing his chest as he went to block several strikes with his kopesh,He continued to dodge and block a few strikes a few grazes here and there on his body from lucky near misses before he managed to slice off the jedis hands and head in a quick strike as he continued making his way through the base.

Salij-Nekt held the Jedi down to the ground, and with his other hand he made a fist, brought it back and then smashed them across the face. And they were out like a light. But something caught the Anubian's eye. A glint on the belt of the Jedi. The Anubian reached for it before any of the other Jedi could stop him, and then he must have flipped a switch as a beam of light came from it. It knew what this was. A lightsaber. It had seen these wielded. Never used one himself. Salij held it...Then had an idea.

"Come...come, Jedi..." The Anubian looked up from the weapon to the other Jedi. "Face me!" He held the saber out, but there was one thing he had not accounted for. His training, he had never used a lightsaber. One of the Jedi came at him, drawing their lightsaber and swinging at him as they approached. The Anubian swung back with their strength, and they were pushed off balance just long enough for Salij to make a grab for their neck, and with one quick squeeze they were gone.

Another came at him, this time catching him unaware's. The lightsaber, as little use as it had, was gone from his hand then. The Jedi made an uppercut, cutting into Salij's arm. He roared out in pain, going to grab them or at least claw them. A third Jedi came for a swing as well, only for something to make contact with them. And that was when [member="Skorvek"]'s phantom came to help.

By the time Kiso and the TAE froces had reached the entrance to the hanger bay, most of the merc had surrendered, dropping their weapons and running out with their hands up, but that was a gun for hire. Against a force like themselves no amount of money was good enough to battle an army of force users and their demonic leader, and that was not including the army of TAE troopers coming soon after, but something felt off. It was a bit disappointing but that's how battles went sometime, moral was the first to break, not the men themselves.

"Dingo, change of plans, the enemy has surrendered the fort, keep going for the command center and secure the base, but I do not think we need to blow this place sky high anymore", it was a bit disappointing but she knew for a fact more battles where to come in the future, this being a mere skirmish to put down a terrorist group once and for all. "Gotta it, were already being greeted by several of the command staff, not much else to do but round everyone up and split the soils of war, I'm sure there payment or compensation is around here somewhere", Kiso gave an eye roll, at them end of a fight payment and goodies where his first priorities, not fixing any damage, making sure to get a perimeter set up, nope always, and quote 'where the booty at'.

"Jess status report"? With the enemy ships flying around and such she was unsure if some sort of flanking force might have surfaced from any crash surivors looking to make their way back to the fort. "Noting much to note Kay, had some try to fight their way back to the fort but most gave up, where rounding up the wounded and prisoners now, orders"? "Make your way to the fort well regroup and see that Matador whats us to do next". With new orders dispatched Kiso began to make her way to the lumbering hunk of steel as he paraded around the battlements with his blood soaked sword, "M'lord the our forces are currently securing the fortress and taking the rest of the defenders prisoner, what are your new orders?"

The Matador cleaned the length of Oribuir against his gauntlet, the soft smudge of blood chaffing against the brunt of his knuckles. His red eyes observed the desert field just beyond the gates of the Mercenary compound. The ground shook, a massive yellow light shun over the cliff edge, momentarily engulfing the and overpowering the dawning rays of sunshine from the local star.

That was it, the Ancient Eye had wiped out the last remnants of the Hand of Light on tund; or so they'd thought. Yet still they had not received any word from [member="Salij-Nekt"] nor [member="Skorvek"], they had the simplest task.

The incompetence of Anubians played an adapt hand in the slowness of progress. One of the officers under the Ancient Eyes employment arrived, requesting orders.

"Re-route the injured and prisoners back to [member="Kainan Wolfe"], we need to consolidate power on Tund."

The Matador activated his built in comlink, contacting his personal ship; the Valkyrie. The autopilot engaged, bringing the ship into low atmosphere. "Bellators, with me. We're going to the shipyard."

Objective D (Hunting Down Any Escape Shuttles)
Post: Two
Allies: Astromech Droid, Two Gunners
Location: Piloting The Crescent Eye, landing in a craggy area
Weapons: Double Bladed Lightsaber, Heavy Blaster Pistol

The feeling lead her to a craggy, rock section of the mountain. It was for the most part a harsh down slope, with the areas that did smooth out a bit being mostly taken up by fallen rocks. The scenery blended in together, creating a mess of brown and dull colors that mixed in and made the scenery both boring to look at and completely uninteresting. But Seras had one of those 'feelings' that trained Force's tend to have. Something was here. What she was looking for, was here. The Heir merely had to find it. "Level out and stay low, start scanning the face of the cliff R-9. I am going groudside." She said, Seras getting one of the gunners to fly the stealthed ship in the mean time. Walking back to the small cargo bay of the ship Seras lowered the ramp and stepped out to it's edge. Leaning forward, she lightly jumped off the edge and fell down the fifteen foot drop. Using the force she stuck the long drop with a solid landing, standing back up amongst the craggy rocks and slowly looking around. She could not feel anything here. "Anything to report?" The beeps in binary told her that if a secret exit or hangar was hidden amongst this kind of terrain, it would take even their advanced sensor suit time to pin down it's exact location. Simply to much area to cover. But if they knew its rough location, enough to focus on a small area they might find something more. "Then i will find an area." She said, standing back up straight and relaxing her body.

Slowly, Seras let out a long breath. Emptying her lungs, Seras relaxed her body in its entirety. Natural instincts would put her on edge amongst these rocks. Jedi could be around any corner, any turn could lead to an ambush, a rock slide. All things that could happen with the battle raging nearby, but she had no mind for those things. Instead she let go and slowly walked forward. Though none were around to see her lone right eye was blank as though it saw nothing as she slowly walked through the terrain, following nothing other then her gut instincts and the force. It was slow going, but she slowly followed this feeling, winding her way through the craggy slopes to areas that got steadily more treacherous and steeper. It was close to nearly becoming completely impassable before Seras froze mid step, slowly pulling her foot that was about to step down back. "Scan this area in front of me, full spectrum scan." She said shortly, stepping back two steps. The stealthed ship shifted and began scanning the area and several moments later came back positive. Refined metal was found beneath the surface. No electronics were detected in the area surprisingly, not outside at least. It seemed the Hand of Light had skimped on electronic surveillance in the area in hopes to make it more hidden. 'Any other day it may have worked.' Going by the scans there was what appeared to be a single person maintenance type door nearby and she focused her efforts on that. Hid neatly behind several very well placed boulders Seras doubted anyone other then a good professional with luck on their side would have found it.

To open it was a simple turn latch, the heavy metal door slowly lifting up as she forced it open. There was no assist on the heavy metal bulkhead, not even a torsion bar. After some hard work the door was open and Seras was inside, slowly closing back the bulkhead. The one good thing about it was that the heavy door was well oiled, making little noise as she entered. Seras found herself inside a small maintenance closet that only had dull red emergency lights on inside it. Making her way through the mostly bare room she went to the door which was of a similar design, with no windows or way to look through. Deciding that there was no time like the present, Seras opened up the door and slipped inside. What she found was what she expected, a hangar. Inside was a old if heavily modified freighter. It had not yet been started but judging by the few people Seras saw scurrying around, they were working on getting it active and fast. The room was rather dimly lit, there was little inside to make an energy signature. In a way Seras was impressed, they had taken a lot of steps to ensure this place would not be found, but why? After closing the door, Seras made her way through the large hangar, skirting the edge and heading to the entrance. This was the source of the hope, but what was this hope of theirs...

After cleaning out several Jedi he finally found the heretics he was looking for, They looked like they where armed and ready but the room was small and metallic the perfect conductor, He placed his hand on the wall and a surge of lightning came forth and arced through the metal forward with incredible speed as it struck the heretics burning them to a crisps in the span of a few minutes. He walked out for a moment and stood over the heretic's or what was left of them, Such is the fate of any of defy the Ancient Eye but he decided the jedi should be purged completely and he sent forth multiple phantoms to clean up what Jedi are remaining as well as go and assist [member="Salij-Nekt"] with any jedi he maybe dealing with

Salij-Nekt turned on the Jedi who had managed to cut into his flesh, the other being struck down by the phantom. Once Salij had faced such phantoms, and had come close to death due to that fight. Now he was glad that he had one on his own side. Side stepping to avoid a downward slice he reached for their hand, crushing down on it with his strong grip till they let go. With his other hand he caught their lightsaber, turned it in his hand then activated it on them. Then they were down on the ground, killed by their own weapon. The remaining Jedi began to charge then...

They all just, crumpled. Fell over each other, nothing more than shriveled grapes now in crumpled robes. "That was....quite sudden" the Anubian grumbled. It was too bad that so many had died. But also he was quite surprised, he had not seen such a power before. The Anubian went to search for [member="Skorvek"], where he would then meet up with him.

Kiso snapped a short salute, opening a com up to Jess again, "Wolf, get the wounded and prisoners onto the transports and make you way to [member="Kainan Wolfe"], just make sure our own troops get priority first"."Roger that Kay, do we have any secondary order"? "The main force will be regrouping at the Ship Yard, once you have secured all military assets meet us there", "Roger that Kay, over and out". Switching her com-link off Kiso turned around to address Matador again, watching as the massive warriors private craft started to descend upon the base for extraction, certainly did beat walking, and to her knowledge the AR and TAE ruled the skies, no more cobble ship to pose a threat.

"M'lord, what is the current situation with on the other fronts? and are we expecting any more resistance from the Hand of Light"? In all honesty she was expecting a no, rebel groups were hard to stamp out, if the main based was destroyed the strangers would just reform somewhere else. Though not posing a massive military threat anymore, a small group was still a security risk, and a tough one to track down too the small such a group became, and more fanatical as well. The wind created front the ships engines started to pick up as it lower close and closer to the ground, engines roaring louder with each passing second, Kiso's cap flapping with intensity while standing next to the Matador, awaiting his reply.
