Strengths:
  • Fire Power: The standard grenade means soldiers carrying this weapon have a little bonus in fire power when going up against entrenched positions and lightly armored vehicles.
  • Stabilized: The addition of a newer grip and better weighting makes the gun easier to balance and allows for more accurate shot, a necessary aspect when lobbing explosives.
Weaknesses:
  • Long Barrel: Made for distance engagements the TENo-3 is not the most practical in CQC with aiming difficulties along with it weighing a little more.
  • Limited Ammo: As with most slug throwers the TENo-3 runs out of ammunition much faster then a blaster based weapon.
Description
With the first test of the military during a small skirmish on Tatooine, the need for a light explosive standard issue weapon was suggested by troops who had a little trouble breaching fortified areas to far to reach with grenades. At the same time they wished said weapon to be easy to use and light, not expressing much need to a dedicated grenade launcher or bazooka at the current time.

Their solution was to take the already existing TENo-2, outfitting the muzzle to hold a grenade launcher along with a few smaller adjustments to the grip and other areas. The modification was effective and only cost a small amount to make the upgrade, said weapon using standard issue ordinance provided by the CIS. Initial testing did show a small problem with up close combat, R&D marking it down for a future project.

Over all the weapon provides regular infantry with a little extra fire power on the battle field, though is not to be used in place of dedicated anti-tank weapons.
