NAME: Syreeta Ming

FACTION: Independent/Light Side

RANK: Witch Spellweaver

SPECIES: Force Spawn

AGE: Adult

SEX: Female

HEIGHT: 5'1"

BUILD: Slender

EYES: Varies

HAIR: Varies

SKIN: Varies

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

THEME: "Angel" - Massive Attack

APPEARANCE:

Syreeta's appearance can change at will. However, she does have a "preferred" or main form which she uses to avoid confusing people: a petite, slender, beautiful Human woman with fair ivory skin, raven black hair, and dark brown eyes.

STRENGTHS
  • Many Lives: Syreeta isn't just Syreeta. She has multiple different personas inside her body, all of them acquired by absorbing the essence of a living being. This condition was inflicted on her by the Cult and has not gone away since she was redeemed and purified. She can switch between personas, gaining their appearance, knowledge, memories, and abilities, but Syreeta, as the dominant personality, retains complete control over her actions.
  • Shapeshifter: Syreeta can alter her appearance at will, taking the forms of other people or animals, or altering her shape in order to fit into tight spaces she couldn't otherwise reach.
  • Witch Spellweaver: Syreeta is a master of some of the Force's more esoteric uses. She primarily conducts her business through spells and rituals, which while powerful, typically require preparation beforehand.
  • False Aura: Though clearly Light Sided, Syreeta has a "weird" aura in the Force due to being a Force Spawn. To better blend in among fellow Force Users, she can project a false aura. This ability also comes in handy if she decides to go undercover among Sith or other Dark Siders, allowing her to walk among them unnoticed.
  • Home on the Range: Syreeta is a skilled sniper who excels with ranged weapons. Lying in wait for the perfect moment to strike, she has boundless patience and doesn't waste ammo.

WEAKNESSES
  • Crowded Mind: As you can imagine, the presence of multiple personalities in her body causes a lot of problems. Namely, each persona has their own agenda which may conflict with the others'. Depending on which persona is in control, Syreeta's behavior may be wildly different - and her dominant personality can be highly influenced by whoever she absorbs.
  • Amnesiac: Syreeta has few memories of her past prior to being rescued from the Cult. The memories she does have are scrambled and deprived of their proper context.
  • Force Voids: Exposure to voids in the Force weakens her greatly, affecting her ability to think and speak. Not only that, they also have unsettling physical effects on her Force-imbued flesh.
  • Nullification Resin: Nullification Resin is a lethal poison to Force Spawn physiology, causing necrosis of their flesh. If it isn't removed quickly, Syreeta may die, and the resulting damage is slow to heal.
  • Dark Side: Waves of Darkness can cause Syreeta to catch fire, and Bolt of Hatred can cause slow necrotizing of her flesh.
  • Energy: If heavily injured, Syreeta will need to absorb vast amounts of energy to recover. She can do this by siphoning power from machinery, though this will of course cause its own issues. Say goodbye to your city's power supply, kids!
  • Roleplay Limits: They may be capable of absorbing dozens of personas, but realistically, most Force Spawn do not use more then seven, keeping the rest for the power increase or certain unusual emergencies their go-to personas can't handle. Switching personas cannot be done instantly, requiring time and a safe space to complete the transformation. Additionally, if Syreeta remains in an alternate persona for a long period of time, she risks becoming trapped. If that were to happen, the alternate could become the new primary, dominant persona.
  • Absorption Limits: Alternative personas are never more powerful than the primary guise, and in many cases are a good deal weaker, making manifesting them risky depending on the situation.
  • Telekinesis: Only the most ancient, powerful Force Spawn can use telekinesis. Syreeta is not ancient or powerful.
  • Feeding: Feeding on energy, using the Force, or healing causes their flesh to warp and bubble horribly on their skeleton, giving away their inhuman nature.

BIOGRAPHY:

Syreeta Ming began her existence as an assassin manufactured by the Cult of the Brain Demon. Who or what she was before then is unknowable, and that is perhaps for the best. She had only one purpose in life: to kill Jedi Master Starlin Rand Starlin Rand and everyone associated with him. To that end, everything from her appearance to her backstory were designed to attract and lure her prey.

She approached him at a fueling station, posing as a lost and frightened young woman, alone and desperate for a friend. Starlin agreed to help her, inviting her aboard his ship. Everything seemed to be going according to plan - until Starlin stabbed her with his shoto, having seen through her ruse. But rather than kill her, the Jedi Master instead imprisoned Syreeta in the brig, questioning and studying her. Having fought the Cult all his life, he sought to prove that there was hope for those who had been absorbed into their ranks.

He succeeded in redeeming Syreeta, purifying her body and soul with the Light Side and allowing her to regain control over the many personas within her. What she will do with her newfound freedom and agency remains to be seen.

Kalen and Nathan Bloodscrawl (disguised as "the Patriarch") met to discuss the state of Hapes. The Patriarch revealed his plan to kill and replace high ranking Hapans with Force Spawn loyal to him. Kalen requested they kill and replace Secciah Khal, the Ducha of Harterra. Syreeta Ming, who was looking for a purpose, agreed to be the one to do it.

Blood and Fire
Mara Aurelai Mara Aurelai , Jaina Grayson Jaina Grayson
Syreeta Ming pretended to be Secciah Khal for about a year, during which she met and befriended Mara Aurelai. The disappearance of the Patriarch and most of his Force Spawn forced her to pull the plug on the operation. But that point Syreeta had grown uncomfortable with the role and was glad to end the ruse, though she tearfully bid goodbye to her friend before staging Secciah's death.
