  • Keita Military Academy: The Keita Military Academy has a proud heritage here on Sundiata, teaching some of the finest warriors for nearly four hundred years. It started as the Mandinka, a small school with but a few students. Now it sprawls nearly six hundred acres of land. Keita was said to be where the city of Sundiata grew out of and it is because of this it is a protected heritage site. The Keita Military Academy trains not just the finest warriors for all of the Sahel. It now trains some of the most well-respected Commandos the Corps has come to know. Officers who graduate from the Keita Military Academy are not just excellent fighters, but great strategists just as well. They care deeply for those within their command.
  • Mandinka District: The oldest district within the city of Sundiata itself, it is on the western end of this district where one finds the Keita Military Academy. Beyond this, the Mandinka houses smaller fighting schools, weapon smiths, armor smiths, warehouses, and the coveted Mandekalu Museum of War. The Mandinka District is also famous for its culinary school, and being home to some of the best Sundiatan cuisines. Grand hotels and small restaurants dot the district in between the military academy and the fighting schools.

High - Sundiata’s security is two parts: the first comes from the Sahel Regional Police, and the second from the Sundiata Prefecture. In addition to police and prefecture presence, the Commonwealth Armed Forces add to the high-security rating with several bases.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Sundiata is a historic city that has survived through tumultuous times. It was founded by Kuruowca, a warrior-king who sought a safe haven for his family. The city is situated in the Sahel region, and its survival is largely due to the presence of the nearby Djenne Lake, which empties into the Boseman River.

Sundiata has a rich history of dealing with adversity, including the rise and fall of two different First Order regimes. The city also faced a pandemic and a cataclysmic earthquake. Despite these challenges, the city has persevered and is now an important hub within the Dosuunian Commonwealth of Nations.

The city is surrounded by the Akide Plateau to the west and the low-lying Bayor Valley to the east. Sundiata is one of the largest cities within the Commonwealth and is connected by trams, trains, and subways. Although it is a modern city, it is not uncommon to see livestock being herded through the streets, stopping at the city’s many parks to graze.
