Subach's Future

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Well... With the Horde and New Order both being dismantled this month due to lack of activity, and a lack of reassurance from factory personnel, I am looking for (a) faction(s) willing to have Subach factories moved to their planets. I am willing to offer the following:

All Subach ships for sale for well-reduced prices.
Ships designed exclusively for your faction.
The exclusive production for your faction only of a soon-to-be-developed assault battleship class, 2km in length, as well as the MZ-10 mobile pulse cannon.
Half-off maintenance costs by Subach for all company-made and third-party vehicles, weapons, ships, and starfighters.
An opportunity to have produced for you Subach vessels previously utilized by the Sith Empire/New Order, including the Attrition-class Light Star Destroyer, which may(if the faction in question has access to stygium) be upgradeable to a more advanced cloaking device.
Support for pilot training using Fragmentor-class Target Drones.

OOC: I honestly don't have anywhere else to turn. Two out of three says someone'll try and pull a Weedkiller on my stuff the moment the major factions whose territory I'm in die. Even [member="Ashin Varanin"]'s said he can't think of any way to prevent mass devastation, and he can usually think of any contingency plan. As someone whose company's been OOCly dealt the hands of bankruptcy, fragmentation, and BDZing, it would mean a lot to me if some faction would be willing to take Subach and its products in so I don't have to deal with a Weedkiller situation again.

The issue is more along the lines of "I need to put my factories somewhere else so a certain group of individuals doesn't raze them," not so much a lack of business. If you'd like to try and broker a deal, however, I'll be more than glad to work with you. Still need to find a new faction for my factories to call home, though.

[member="Judah Dashiell"] : Shutting down all operations, moving to another place and restart operations elsewhere would take a lot of investments and funds. So yeah, it would definitely be a big drain on the Company.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
[member="Ayden Cater"] You did kind of retract that offer.

[member="Jared Ovmar"] [member="Judah Dashiell"] You know that's not going to stop some certain people from doing this again, right?

[member="Enigma"] That is not the point. The point is that you are trying to avoid getting a possible tier reducement, by moving -all- of your factories to other territories. What we are telling you is that the amount of money which you would have to spent to accomplish that, would logically bankrupt your company. Which in turn would cause a tier reducement. Do you see the problem here?

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
[member="Jared Ovmar"] It's not like I'm going to be getting promises from the people who Weedkillered last time that they won't vaporize my stuff again, so I again really have no choice. And didn't you and the Fringe steal/destroy my factories on Serpena?

To be honest im confused why and how a government would military action against an actual corporation, my suggestion to you @Engima is simply this. Save what funds you can and products and move into a more neutral area of business. Though again i am confused by this as it would be like the Rebel alliance wiping out Blastech for making storm trooper rifles. But again, it is a RP board with lots of custom shit sooo... i dont even know. -shrugs-

[member="Enigma"] I was actually sleeping when the meat of that went down, so I will have to disappoint you there. Point being is, if you scrap all those other locations and start churning out factories in a different major faction cloud? I don't see how you will be able to keep your Tier regardless. It wouldn't make sense.

Now I can give you advise on how to actually make sure your factories won't get destroyed anymore. You just gotta ask *shrug*

It would behoove you to keep your present factories open and establish new ones in the spaces you want to be in, then shut down the ones you feel are at risk. This way, you are not spending credits in uprooting and reestablishing an area, when you can simply start a new one slowly but surely in the area you would like to be in. Will this take time? Yes, it will take time. Credits? Yes, but be cheaper and productive in the long run. Going for the long term goal rather than the short term.

EG: While the original headquarters of ATC and SSB is on Tatooine, Danger has led several threads to build three new HQ's and factories in Mandalore, Nar Kreeta, and now Lianna. So if Tatooine were to ever go kaput, she will still have the other three HQ's to work out of.

Just a suggestion from a company judge.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
[member="Jared Ovmar"] Alright then - how do they not get destroyed?

[member="Danger Arceneau"] That's admittedly a good idea... but there's no major faction willing to let me build in their territory, which was my point in making this thread.

I just don't see why a major faction would go to war for you. If Salacia Consolidated is attacked I don't expect nor see a reason for Moross or Protectorate to start something.

Dangers ideas makes the most sense and gives threads for Tier development.

I don't think you're really getting what I mean... In order for a faction or group to attack or destroy a factory of mine on the planet belonging to a faction, they would have to violate that faction's territory. Which would result in that faction showing up to take action against the invaders.
