I am looking for a cheap, affordable sidearm. I was looking at your "Mist" atomizing pistol, in particular. Can this pistol do damage to something on a larger scale - say, terentateks, dragons, beskar'gam? How much will it cost?

That depends on how often you use the charged shot functionality. Charged shots should be able to cause such creatures damage. one thousand credits for one unit.
