    • Long Lifespans:
    • Growth Via Hunt:
      • The Fall:
    • Blood Is All: Curiously, the only thing the Stygians share as a universal commonality is their diet, which is vampiric
  • Races: The names of the Stygian races are unique in the sense that each name is simply a word adopted from the Stygians' primary vocabulary of Smiitsa Osh depending on what that particular race excels at. This makes it surprisingly easy for outsiders to learn what each race is best suited for in the event that a rare diplomatic talk is on the table.
    • Unfallen: These are the Stygians from across the lands of Stygan Atrophys who have resisted the Fall thus far.
      • Tshotaakyaam | Golden Ones: The rulers of Stygan Atrophus, the Tshotaakyaam possess such power in their dominion over the planet that they are considered both family and race. They are trademarked by their almost divine looks that emit light as if they were living suns. It is because of this that they have been attributed to being descended from the essence of their planet's star, Primorius. They live on a massive, nameless atoll to the east that has been converted into a singular estate defended by royal guards and automated defense turrets. The Tshotaakyaam are routinely ruled by a domineering patriarchal figure who in turn rules over Stygan Atrophus as its sole king, although matriarchs have been known to rule from time to time.
      • Hiisi (pronounced "he-see") | Noble Folk: The extended family of the Tshotaakyaam, the Hiisi are known for their purple features - a trait they attribute to blessings from Malal's Harvest Moon phase - affluent personalities, and propensity to mark their bodies with gemstones and luxurious clothing. They live in the lower rings of the Tshotaakyaam's estate, although they are often found in the cities of the Sno due to their administrative duties in service to their betters.
      • T'ee | Star Eyed: The Force Sensitives of the Stygians, the T'ee are identifiable by their glowing eyes resembling distant stars. They are often shrouded in multiple layers and hail from the arid island of Soshel, where their civilizations are built around the coasts and oases dotting the sands. The T'ee are known for their reclusiveness and the difficulty in hiring them for their services, which usually involves precognition, visions of the past, spirit walking, and religious ceremonies.
      • Taapʼawyeep | Warrior Folk: Hailing from the tribal island of Siingn to the far north, the Taap'awyeep are massive in frame and are the physically strongest of all Stygians. These traits allow them to sit comfortably in military and guard roles for the Sno and Hiisi, and some have even become royal guards for the Tshotaakyaam, outfitted in steel plate armor enameled crimson.
      • Sno (Pronounced "snow") | Common Folk: The general populace of Stygan Atrophus, the Sno make up the rank and file of the Stygian's non-menial workforce. Their appearance varies exceedingly vast depending on their island's environment - to the point of some Sno being considered entirely different species from the Stygians as a whole.
      • Choosh | Sea Folk: Hailing from the island Ntiid and being naturally adapted to the crushing pressures of Stygan Atrophus' oceans, the Choosh are often seen as the menial laborers of the Stygians, building complexes deep under the earth and waves. Because of this lifestyle, the Choose are publically shy, quiet, and obedient to a fault and never speak without permission from their overseers. However, their practices back home and in privacy have enabled the Choosh from suffering much despite their low role - something they likely aren't even aware of due to their lack of taking advantage of it.
      • Hi (Pronounced as "he") | Food: More of a class than a race, the Hi are on the lowest rung of the Stygian species and are considered nothing more than food for their betters. Due to coming from almost every regional variance of the Sno, the Hi occupy the third largest numbers in population but lack the physical capabilities to fight back for equal rights.
    • Fallen:
      • Black-Blooded Ones | Fallen Stage 0: Those who have adopted the curse into their blood, the Black-Blooded Ones are the guardians of the Stygians from the Fallen, monstrous beasts that stalk the darkness of the world in hordes. They are considered both outcasts and citizens of the Stygians due to their walking of the line between "good" and "evil," and as such, they enjoy some aspects of their society the other Fallen do not. Some even enjoy luxuries of nobility depending on the individual's skills in hunting.
      • Mii-Tʼaw | Half-Beast | Fallen Stage 1: Those who cannot resist the curse to become Black-Blooded Ones start their degeneration with mild-moderate alterations of their physical form. Each of the afflicted varies, of course, in what they suffer, but the most common signs of the Fall for these poor souls include sharpened canines, increasingly pointed ears, reshaping hand bones, and disfigurement of the face. They are immediately exiled from the civilized lands to be corraled and hunted by the Black-Blooded Ones, either on the hunting moon of Malar or throughout the planet's many uninhabited islands.
      • N'Tuy | Preacher of the Beasts | Alternate Fallen Stage 1: Despite suffering very little in the ways of mutation from the curse, the N'Tuy are among the most reviled due to being Black-Blooded Ones who have strayed from their holy path to smite the Fallen.
      • Smiigìy | Sickened Man | Fallen Stage 2:
      • Cĥamoom T'aw | Ravager Beast | Fallen Stage 3:
      • Hons Tʼawː | Hunter Beast | Alternate Fallen Stage 3:
      • Waayd T'aw | Guardian Beast | Fallen Stage 4:
      • Woka T'aw | Preacher Beast | Fallen Stage 5:
      • Smotbå Tʼaw | Flame Beast | Fallen Stage 6:
      • Hu T'aw | King Beast | Fallen Stage 7:
      • Fùyk Tʼaw | Storm Beast | Fallen Stage 8:
  • Force Sensitivity: Rare
    • Only one race of the Stygians possesses the power of the Force, that race being the T'ee.

WEAKNESSES
  • [ Provide, in list format, some weaknesses of this submission. 2 recommended. ]
CULTURE
  • Diet: Vampiric -
  • Communication: The Stygians speak as any humanoid would, and their banks of languages are - disturbingly - vast given their relative isolation from the rest of the Galaxy.

  • Religion/Beliefs: [ If this species has a prominent religion or set of beliefs, describe them here. ]
  • General behavior: [ Describe general behaviors such as: family life, values, how they raise their young, how they find mates, how they interact with the world and other species around them. Do they hunt? Do they build? Are they inventors? Are they explorers? Are they nocturnal or diurnal? Do they attend schools? Etc, etc. ]
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[ Include a description of the species history here. If your species is genetically engineered or Sithspawn please describe the process through which they were created, by who, and why. Explain the various challenges encountered during their creation. Most galactic species will be quite old - include major events relevant to the species in how they evolved and developed into what they are today where appropriate. Including Chaos canon events, where they impacted the history of this species, is a plus. ]

Reason for Archival: After some thinking, I decided this needs to be shelved. My attention needs to put towards my faction's stuff and I would rather this not clog up the pre-codex. I'll come back to this later though.
