- Wookiee sized: Stormwookiee Armor is specifically designed to be worn by Wookiees, as it has been manufactured to account for the species large size and body shape

- Heightened senses: The Sensor Masks that Stromwookiees wear as part of their armor only serves to further heighten their already sharp sense of smell, along with improving their sight and hearing

- Let the Wookiee win: Stormwookiee Armor can only really be worn by Wookiees, and will not even fit most alien species, to say nothing of humans
During the reign of the Galactic Empire on Mahporeem, large numbers of Wookiees were brought to planet as slave laborers, forced to work in the junkyards and ship breaking yards of the planet due to their immense physical strength and long lasting stamina.
With the Empire's fall, and abolition of slavery on Mahporeem, many formerly enslaved Wookiees chose to join the newly liberalized Stormtrooper Corps, becoming the first Stormwookiees, or Wookiee Troopers, of the Imperial Remnant. Short of soldiers and recognizing the fierce warrior culture of the Wookiees, the Imperial Remnant organized them into elite shock trooper regiments.
Making a set of recognizable Stormtrooper Armor for a Wookiee proved challenging, but the resulting armor set was certainly able to convey the Imperial affiliation of their users. While not particularly protective, Stormwookiee Armor does at least ensure that its users go into battle with a number of important pieces of equipment, such as Armored Quulaar Backpacks, Sensor Masks and Breathmask Survival Gear.
