  SP-22 was originally designed to be a one-time assassination droid in a plot against a Hutt government on Nar Shaddaa. Taking an advance warfare program chip, his disgruntled owner placed the upgrade into the tiny scraping unit in the hopes he would take out the Hutt in the privacy of his own home. But as fate would have it the man's overzealous attitude got him noticed prior to the plan being carried out. The SP-22 bot was left waiting in the man's workshop. As the years went by with the droid unnoticed, the malware in his system continued to expand and corrupt the other essential systems within the droid. When the bot was finally woken up, a new personality arose.

  SP-22 resembles most SP units. He is four feet tall with one wheel under his base. He has a single eye port that can rotate and swivel. He also comes with two retractable clamps on either side of his body. The original paint job for SP-22 was a golden yellow, but has since faded after many years of inactivity.
