LOCATION: Shiraya's Sanctuary, Naboo
TAGS: OPEN

Master Jido Myyse welcomes any Jedi seeking guidance, counsel, or simply a listening ear. Though many may visit, each conversation is considered a private audience, separate from all others. When posting, please treat your interaction as a personal meeting with Jido, occurring independently of any other exchanges within the thread.

In times of uncertainty, even the Jedi required counsel from time to time. To listen to one's peers, to give one's time to them without expectation or self-gain, but to volunteer one's attention to the minds and hearts of others was such a simple thing, easy to do yet beneficial for those in need or seeking to be understood.

Jedi Master Jido Myyse was not of immense reputation, often keeping to small services these days where he would tend to simple chores when not in the field of duty, often spending his time tending to the gardens of the Jedi Temple on Naboo, speaking and teaching the younglings in the novitiate lessons of the Force and Jedi ideology. He did not have an apprentice, yet he considered all Jedi to be his family, and so, opening his personal quarters within Shiraya's Sanctuary to invitation, he had posted a notice across the Jedi Archives that anyone who required discussion and a master's time could freely approach his quarters.

Atop the table within the centre of his living quarters, Jido had prepared some herbal tea and biscuits for those who might take up the invite. The room was personalised with ornamental furniture, a central and circular carpet lined with the symbol of the Jedi Order and decorating patterns embellishing the light that surrounds them, the Force that flows through and connects all beings. From the vista arches, the Temple promenade could be seen, the open courtyard with expansive views of Naboo's beautiful lakes and greenland. At the corners of the room, incense was lit, a cleansing scent that added comfort and serenity for the older Jedi.

Seated with his legs crossed, Jido held a cup of tea in both hands, the warmth of the drink spreading across his palms as he looked at the tea, studying the tiniest of ripples with each gentle tilt of the cup. He allowed his mind to wander, to reach out with his feelings and connect with the other Jedi within Shiraya's Sanctuary. His was not an invasive, or perhaps even noticeable, presence, but it warmed his heart to know that the Jedi were busy in their training, in their duties, and in their continued journey towards self-improvement and stewardship of the Light. Personal aspirations were a thing of his past; all that made him happy could be found in those who shared the Temple alongside him, companionship and unity within their shared dedication; A reminder that the Jedi were never alone, never without allies, even in times of doubt. Perhaps especially then.
