To Jido, every battle is a sorrowful failure of understanding. Though duty has often placed him upon the front lines of war and crisis, he has never celebrated victory bought at the cost of life. In the quiet that follows conflict, he offers equal mourning for friend and foe alike, believing that every life extinguished diminishes the galaxy as a whole.
A member of an exceedingly rare species, Jido seldom speaks of his origins. Whatever family or lineage may have preceded him was relinquished long ago when he devoted himself fully to the Jedi Order. Standing barely three feet in height and weighing only twenty-three kilograms, he is physically unassuming beside many of his contemporaries. Yet appearances have often proven deceptive. Through decades of discipline and communion with the Force, Jido has become a formidable practitioner whose wisdom and command of the Light far exceed the limitations of his stature.
Having been raised during an earlier era of the Jedi, Jido remains deeply rooted in the traditions that shaped him. His life is one of simplicity, contemplation, and service. Material possessions hold little value in his eyes, and he keeps only what is necessary to fulfil his responsibilities as a Jedi.
