Sticky Politics: Nar Haaska ((PM if you aren't in the faction and want to join))

The Monitor hadn't expected retaliation. In fact, it had thought that things were going to go smoothly as planned. It's barrage had been avoided by such a fat ship--fat compared to the usual vehicles the Precursors used.

"I will not be denied. You wi- The robotic rumblings of the Monitor's artificial voice broke into a frenzied crackle as the EMP blast hit.

The ancient spider droid toppled back, crackling with a faint waft of smoke as it rolled down the dome, just barely catching on a side pillar. The Monitor's organic self was aware of what had happened, but its technological half, the part that controlled movement and speech, was thoroughly unresponsive.

I will have to adjust further plans to accommodate.

Oryuken CC-128P was having a bit of a moment. Somehow he had gotten lost and was now standing in a side alley somewhere. His heavy Repeating blaster was resting 9n his shoulder while he followed the sounds of music into the narrow alley.

The soft tones and strange movents of the music made him feel a little sad that combined with the absence of Una was very hard to handle. His heavy steps moved up the alley. To his right a small form moved and there hiding beneath some flimsi sheets was a scared starving girl of about six.

Oryuken stared his face confused behind his visor and he cocked his head to the side and realized the dirty faced girl was probably hungry. He could understand. He was always hungry. He reached into his belt and held out a piece of uj cake. Slowly the girl came forward and took the piece before retreating a few steps.

"Are you afraid?" Oryuken asked.

She nodded as she ate the cake.

"Me too." He said sitting down on a crate. "Me too.

"Understood Sir." Alliera said, walking in a completely new direction then she had previosly "I will be there shortly." A Sense of failure was starting to burden Alliera, the people were already starting to become inflamed against the CIS, and Alliera couldn't do anything. The Mandalorian Woman dissapeared into the crowd, her feelings being bottled in for later. After a few minutes, Alliera appeared out of the crowd beside Calico and Canal, she dropped the Jacket and placed her Machine Pistol in a shirt pocket, and removed the work gloves covering her Crush Gaunts. "What are you orders sir?" Alliera asked, giving Calico a respectfull nod "Looks can be decieving."

"Do you know @[member="CC-114 Una"]?" He said as he sat across from the dirty faced girl child.

The girl just shook he little head no. Oryuken was a little sad because of that but he undersrood. The little girl was probably the same age he was technically.

"Do you have a mommy and daddy?" He asked as he thought he should help her find them.

"Uh uhh." The girl said her sad eyes looking down and her face beginning to quiver and fight back tears.

"It's ok." He said reaching out to her. "I don't have a mommy and daddy either.

She stepped back to avoid his touch. He was confused but then that was not a surprise. He sat back and pulled out some more cake. He broke it in half and gave her some.

Calico simply motioned to one of the LLAT/As setting down in the middle of the road. The back hatch hissed open, and people's army soldiers flowed out. Non-clones, what Calico would once have called Mongrels. They were just soldiers now. "Our boys are deploying now." He grunted as he strode up into the troop bay of the shuttle. "We're going to secure the planet leadership. There's been a riot and the majority of our ground pounders are busy on other parts of the planet."

The shuttle would wait until Canal and Alliera were aboard, then set off toward the capital building. "We're going to extract the leadership and stabilize the system. Nothing too fancy." It all sounded easy on paper. Then again, most huge tasks did. "Hopefully the rebellion quells down."

The sound of yelling broke ruined the peaceful moment as the girl finally sat beside the big clone man. Her little feet kicked idly against the crate as they dangled above the ground. Oryuken's reflexes took over and he moved to block the girl from the approaching noise.

"Shhh!" He said protectively, as he lifted his helmet and jammed it back on. They were in a deadend and if the rebels decided to assault his position it would not turn out well to say the least.

"Don't worry." He said through the speakers on his buy'ce, "I won't let anyone hurt you."

His dark eyes panned through screens on his HUD as he lifted his weapon.

"Stay behind me ad'ika." He said as his body proved it knew what to do even when his mind didn't. "Ni juaan gar."

"Yes, sir. Right away." Well at least there's always a plan B that could fix up the mistakes that happened today. The whole stealth op now turned into a military operation on the planet. Most of the citizens were joining the rebels since everything looked like a picture that made the CIS into the bad guy and the rebels, who were the people who orchestrated this, made them the heroes. He picked up a DC-15S that was dropped by a fallen CIS soldier. But at the same time the battle between the rebels and the CIS was something that Canal liked cause he no longer had to hide his identity and could fire at will at any anyone who is siding with the rebels and made them look like a hostile.

He hopped on board of the shuttle and waited for the other person to hop on so they could end this chaos as soon as possible.

Ven moved the ship, piloting it down towards the ceter dome, making sure to stabalize it before she got out of the captains chair. She ran towards the back of the ship and opened the back hatch, looking up at the disabled droid, "There ya are." she was maybe a few feet off from where the droid hung from the building which made it a little difficult for her. The Falleen reached for a nearby long pole that had a sturdy hook on the end and reached up with it to hook on to the droid before tugging hard so it would fall the couple feet into the back of the freighter. "Lets just get you in here huh, and stay asleep? That'd be helpful." she felt nervous and and worried that the droid might wake up or something, which she defintely didn't want to happen on her ship.

And then, the news reports came flooding in. The Mandalorian, on his karking day off, decided to relax in his home on Krant. He had been moving all about the Galaxy so often that a hurt had settled into his bones that only idleness would fix. So, within his designated "Man Cave", he kicked up his feet and turned on the entertainment center...only to be greeted with early reports of the events transpiring on Nar Haaska. "Oh, you've gotta be karking kidding me." he breathed, groaning as he leaned his head back. Reaching for his helmet, the Mandalorian then broadcasted a transmission over the private, military channels. "Calico," he began, "Give the order for the strike teams to pull out. Send in the Humanitarian reserves from the Sanctuary on Sriluur. Make the people happy and let's see if we can't quell this PR nightmare."

@[member="Commander Calico CC-247"]

Yeah, Calico wasn't very happy about this either. He commed back. "Already done Is'ika. You have too little confidence in me...also, get a leash for your Templars." He suck the air in over his teeth as the message stating the city leadership was secure. That would save time.

"My strike teams are pulling out."

"No," replied the Mandalorian, "I don't have too little faith in you. I just hate public relation nightmares. If there's issues with the Templars, bring them before the Grand Council and it'll be taken care of. Despite the news reporters freaking out, you've done good work." With that said, Isley leaned back in his seat and released a rather sizeable exhale. By the Force he despised public relations nightmares.

Calico folded his arms tight over his chest as the LAAT/A diverted up toward orbit. Calico was fuming, but he could push it aside. The operation had been effectively blown, but perhaps it could still be salvaged.

"Debating on it. They blew our cover." He paused to take a look outside. Fires were beginning to die down, at the very least. "Nar Haaska is...unstable."

"Make sure you get the Sanctuary teams there ASAP then." sai the Mandalorian in response to word of the world's instability. Rubbing his temples, Isley then stifled a yawn...he was beyond exhausted, but the job was never done. "Well Cal'ika, if you feel that it's warranting of the Council stepping in, then we will." With that said, Isley arose from the sofa and made his way to the mini-bar in the side of his "Man Cave".

The LAAT/A shook slightly as it broke through the atmosphere. Calico pushed himself up against the bulkhead, making mental checks to make sure he had taken care of everything. The government's leadership was secure, they had few casualties, and within hours, the planet would be under martial law. That seemed to be everything.

"Done and done....I'll be seeing you soon, ner'vod."

Siara Kai

Information Broker
Nar Haaska System
Bridge of the Amdarkai

"What is the status?" came the curt accented voice from Siara. Her hazel eyes slightly narrowed upon the holographic displays in front of the brunette, data codes and various encrypted information from the Bothan Network streaming in real time.

"All hostilities have been neutralized," came an answer from her right, Tiayka, a female Bothan agent working alongside the CIS information agent.

"Good." came Siara's reply, her gloved fingers rising up to scan through various documents, putting down the proverbial iron doors on pieces of information while leaking others.

Public relations at it's finest. Controlling exactly what went out into the big bad holonet. This was her domain.

"Travel safely, Cal'ika. Once you're back, I'll spot you a drink." he said, concluding the transmission at once. Having now poured himself a shot of Corellian Whiskey, the Mandalorian then raised the glass to his lips. Leaning his head back, he then downed the liquor and shook his head, exhaling deeply as the fluid burned its way down. While immensely satisfactory, it was simply...a prelude to the long, long day that was to come.

And with that, the order to leave was given. Maverick knew that his ass was grass, but he did not make a large deal of it. He had cost the CIS its cover alongside the Templars and was probably due for a solid arse-kicking and a Court Martial. Regardless, he made his way swiftly to one of the LAAT/As that descended from above and got in, moving to the rearmost seat. Folding his arms across his chest, the clone leaned his head back and exhaled. Hell was coming, but it was worth it in his mind...yeah, totally worth it.

The LAAT/A set down in the hanger of the Ge'hutuun, opening the back hatch to let it occupants go about their business. Calico disembarked without a word to his comrades. He strode on right for the bridge, and went to making sure things were flowing correctly. He needed a vacation, and hopefully, he would have it.

"Calico, out."

Oryuken moved to the end of the Ally. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt the little girl.

"Just stay back ad'ika," he said.

He saw some rebels and opened fire on full auto. Nobody can hurt kids while he was around.
