Porro knew that it was not the right way to go about things. But what he made on jobs with Sorr’s crew was barely enough to pay for living expenses (Porro didn’t like to live cheap) and docking fees for the Gambit. It was a lot easier to buy equipment when he was able to squat in his spot in the Iego system, but that got ruined when the owner of the docking facility found him. Porro was able to work off the past due fees, but he was going to have to pay going forward.

The Gambit was beginning to take form. The hyperdrive was up and operational making it feasible to fly the ship from its normal dock wherever Porro needed to go to pick up needed upgrades and equipment. He was forced to rent a D1 Series Astromech to make the calculations to travel through hyperspace as the navicomputer was not yet operational. To say that the ship needed to be cleaned up before Porro would present it as a marketable working ship was an understatement. The finish was horrible and it gave the appearance that the engines were going to conk out at any moment.

That was a hindrance to using the ship to raise more credits, but it came in valuable in some ports as the more high tech ones seemed to feel sorry for Porro and give him a discount on docking fees. That was the case here on Qena, which was part of the reason why Porro had chosen the planet. The other was that such a large city-planet was bound to have low budget hospitals that would have malfunctioning equipment and take in supplies that it simply didn’t need because beggars can’t be choosers. Porro felt bad for stealing, but knowing that what he stole wasn’t likely to be used by the people he stole from made him feel a little bit better about it.

Dressing up like a doctor was probably not the best move to get around the hospital unnoticed. The lab coat might have been an easy swap for his normal yellow trench, but his appearance didn’t exactly scream out “doctor”, even in an underfunded urban hospital. But he wasn’t about to be caught dead in nurses’ scrubs, not that there was anything wrong with nurses, just the scrubs were definitely not Porro. So as he walked through the hospital Porro did his best to avoid eye contact with anyone too close. From afar maybe he could make it work, but up close he would be found out right away.

He wasn’t exactly sure what section of the hospital he was in when he heard a group of actual employees approaching from a blind corner. He sighed and looked around quickly. There was an exam room immediately to his left, or he would have to turn and high tail it back in the direction he came from. That he guessed would be highly suspicious. He put his faith that the exam room was empty, or he would be able to charm his way through an interaction with whoever was inside and hope the group wasn’t destined for that room.

Stepping inside the room he closed the door behind him. He saw that there was a child and a parent in the room, so he reached out and grabbed the patient chart from where other rooms had empty charts and stepped toward the exam bed. "Well, what let’s see what brings us in here today,” he said looking over the chart and hoping something would make sense to him. ”I’m Dr…Tanau,” he said his eyes still down on the chart and giving up trying to come up with a fake name. ”I’ll be taking good care of you.”

This is part 3 of a short series of threads where Porro completes his ship. The first two parts have not been started yet.

The treatments simply helped slow down the progression of her illness, but she wasn't getting any better nor were the hospital bills any cheaper. Many doctors just hasn't seen a patient with such a complex genetic makeup. Frustrating as it was, the visits kept her alive. Euphie, the child nearly 4, was recently installed with a bionic leg and heart, her previous ones hadn't been working too well after a severe fit. Today was another day where she would take Euphera to the hospital, along with the nanny bot with medical extensions.

The hospital was always busy. As usual, she had to wait, the nurses telling her that the doctor Faezai would be with her shortly. Indeed, Faezai had been with her, if only a short moment to drop of the reports for later on the desk before having to excuse herself to look at another patient. Aurelia was understanding that the hospitals were usually busy. Euphera sat on her lap and the biot near on standby mode. However, it wasn't Faezai that returned, but a male doctor who barged in, picking up Euphera's charts. "I think you've got the wrong room," Aurelia said. However, as odd as the situation was, the man was familiar with his nest of curls and tan skin. WIth the name Tanau given, she instantly drew the connection.

"Porro?" She hadn't said the name since she last saw him when leaving the Taizas and the crew. That had been years ago, before Euphie even started walking. Now here he was in a doctor's uniform.

"What are you doing here?" Despite her skepticism, there was the undertone of joy in her voice seeing an old friend. There was no way he had became a doctor.

Porro concentrated hard on the chart that was in front of him. He hadn’t even bothered to take a further look at the other occupants of the room. From what he could tell the staff at this hospital couldn’t tell what to do with the patient, a juvenile. The date of birth was at least one data point that Porro understood completely. And gender. The patient was female, that would be a good thing to know. Can’t always tell when looking at someone, but paperwork at least told Porro what gender the people wanted the patient identified as, even if they were able to somehow falsify it.

There was no noted diagnosis, but Porro could tell this was definitely not the first visit. Far from it. Though he knew that there was nothing he was going to be able to do for the child, he was still looking for something intelligent to say that would keep the parent from kicking him out of the room. Just then he heard the feminine voice and smirked, perhaps if he didn’t have anything medical to say he could just use his charm. ”I assure you young lady that I am in the correct room. A new specialist brought onto the case…”

Porro thought that the voice was vaguely familiar, his memory wasn’t the best, but anything regarding a woman was something that somehow stuck. When his name was muttered in question he lifted his eyes from the chart and his jaw fell. ”Aurelia?” Porro might not have had a firm recognition by her voice, but he never forgot a pretty face. His eyes shifted to the girl and he frowned. ”Is this really Euphie? She’s gotten quite big…What’s wrong with her?”

His surprise had him ask questions before realizing that she had asked him why he was there. Porro flashed a charming grin and started, ”Well. You know that I’m too handsome and personable to be a doctor. I managed to find myself a ship of my own. It needs a lot of work. Got a spot cleared out for a medbay, but no equipment or supplies. Thought I’d sneak around a hospital and see if I couldn’t find some extra stuff.” Aurelia knew what sorta guy Porro was. To lie about his intentions would only lead to more questions and eventually the truth would come out. This way was quicker to the point, and maybe Aurelia would help him out for old times sake. Though he would have to be sure his antics didn’t have a negative effect on the wellbeing of Euphie for sure.

"Who's that, Myona?" The child asked. Aurelia wondered if she remembered her time in space at all, but it was likely that she was far to young to recall. "This is Porro. We were on a spaceship that you were born on - together with some friends and uncle Andy." Through her nostrils she exhaled a sigh when Porro asked the question that was presented to her so many times. "She sure is, time flies. Nothing is wrong with her, she is perfect." Although her words couldn't be further from the truth, she rather not answer them when she could, especially not infront of the child in question.

"Stealing from a hopital, really?" She shook her head slowly. But she wouldn't put it above the crew of the taizas purr and Porro not to engage in crime and other shenanigans - even if its been around 4 years since she last saw them, she had witnessed enough during her time on the ship. She had quite a lot of fun indeed. "Is the crew still together? Or have you just gotten bored of them?"

"Well, I cannot just not report you, can I, Porro?" Her tone changed, a corner of her lip twisted upwards slyly. She was intrested to see how he would get out of this - and what she would get out of it in return.

Porro gave a charming smile to the young girl. Obviously not fully human, but Porro had seen more species than he could count and he always tried not to judge based on their physical appearance. Aurelia explained to the girl who he was and he gave a nod and a wink. His jovial charming façade took a hit however when Aurelia announced that Euphie was perfect. Even he knew enough looking at the chart to know that it was not true, but he was also wise enough to know that kids don’t know the extent of things most of the time. ”Of course she is perfect,” Porro said, stepping closer and giving Euphie’s shoulder a squeeze. ”Just like her mom.”

When Aurelia questioned his actions he couldn’t do much more than shrug and try another charming grin. He remembered Aurelia being a bit naïve, but willing to participate in a little mischief. He hoped that hadn’t waned over the years apart. When she asked about the crew being together he smiled wider. ”Seems like Sorr’s network pulls in a new member everyday. We’re all still together, but we switch off who takes jobs now. Feels like the ship’s not big enough for us all you know. That’s why I’m trying to get another ship into the crew’s fleet.”

Porro got worried about Aurelia calling out to tattle on him. She would honestly be right to do so, but she also knew that while Porro didn’t always stick to the laws, he did things with a good heart and didn’t look to hurt anyone in the process. He was watching Aurelia’s features close enough to notice the shift in her lips. ”I mean, I haven’t done anything yet…” Porro replied playfully. ”If you told on me now you might get me dragged outta here for impersonating a doctor at the most. But I have nothing incriminating on me. On the other hand, if the droid can watch Euphie for a bit you can help me take stock of what the hospital can afford to gift to the Porro Tanau Medical Supply Initiative, and ensure that when a member of the crew stubs their toe we’re well taken care of…You might be able to get some insight on how the hospital operates. And we can talk about who else in my vast contacts could help your situation.”

So her favourite crew - the only crew she knew possibly had not disbanded like the Beatles. It sounded like a fun prospect definitely with Porro in command of his own ship and crew. “Well, I surely will have to see it now,” she chuckled. She hadn’t been to space ever since she left the crew. Many memories were made and Porro had taught her very naive past self a lot.

Sneaky - she’d give him that. While she was an adult now and a mother - there was part of her that still craved the mischief and thrill when he suggested she joined in. Another part was rational, worried it might compromise her daughter’s health. But with how the bill summed up, taking some things for free would help her cause.

“I’m in - on the condition that I get a quart of our findings, and that once the ship is done, there’s be space for two of us if we ever need a a ride. And we cannot get caught.”

Porro saw that spark in Aurelia’s eye that he remembered from the time she had spent with the crew previously. Porro always had the reputation of a flirt if not a player, but he always noticed special things about women, even if his focus tended to drift from one to another. And his memory was pretty good when it came to women as well. ”As I said she needs work. Not the prettiest thing to look at. But I’ll be sure to give you the Captain’s tour as soon as we finish here,” Porro responded with a wink.

The excitement in Aurelia’s face seemed to grow as she thought over what Porro said. The charming smuggler/gambler had a feeling that she would be in on the caper. He wasn’t sure what the real story was with their presence in the hospital, but he hoped that in their search they’d be able to collect more than just stock for his own use. He watched as Aurelia struggled with the decision in front of her. Porro hoped she would join him so they could continue to reconnect, and it probably would make things go faster. But he wasn’t about to put any pressure on the young woman.

Aurelia announced she was in on the plan. Porro smiled and moved close to put an arm around Aurelia’s shoulders. ”I promise we will find an equitable distribution of the loot. That’s the way I’ve always believed in teams functioning for the best. As for providing a ride…The Gambit is done enough to get you anywhere in the galaxy you need be. Anytime,” Another wink was provided as well as a charming laugh. ”I have no intention on being caught. Security here isn’t all that great. In the off chance that something does happen to get in our way I’ll be sure that you are seen as innocent and I’ll take the hit.” He looked to the girl and the droid and gave his most innocent smile to both of them. ”Are we ready to head out?”

As soon as Porro gave his assurance, Aurelia removed Euphera from her lap. She would place the child on the biot, triggering the bot to activate. "Myona has to leave for a while. I will be back shortly. " She told the child, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Please alert me when the doctor is here." She ordered the droid.

"Come on, we don't have much time." She said as soon as they left the room. "The storage is this way." She sad, walking towards the area.

Aurelia started to move, shifting her daughter from her lap to that of the droid. That seemed to give Porro a new height of confidence in the mission. Two sets of eyes and Aurelia’s confidence that he would keep her out of trouble was a boost to Porro’s already sizable ego. He listened to Aurelia’s goodbye to Euphie and smiled at the young girl. The instructions to the droid put a time limit on their mission which made Porro a bit anxious but he gave the droid a nod.

As they left the room in search of loot, Aurelia pointed the direction of the storage. Or at least the nearest storage. ”You visit this place often?” Porro asked as they walked at an earnest pace, but not fast enough to cause suspicion. The tone of Porro’s question was one he’d used before to get a girl to open up, but in this case it was genuine concern for Aurelia and her daughter.

As they continued to walk Porro listened intently with half his attention while his peripheral vision made note of the signs on each door they passed. Storage rooms weren’t the only place with valuable supplies and equipment. Though if those things were in exam rooms and such they were more than likely needed and Porro’s aim wasn’t to cause harm here. ”So, what have you been up to? How’d you end up here?” Porro asked to start up some small talk.

As Aurelia gave whatever history she felt like sharing, they came to the Storage closet. Porro looked around still listening as he did. The confident grin played on his lips as he noticed no one that would be a concern or raise a red flag that they ducked inside the closet. Opening the door Porro gently guided Aurelia in with a soft grasp on her nearest elbow.

Once inside the storage closet, Porro removed his stolen lab coat and placed it on a hook on the door. On his back was a small backpack, he pulled the pack off and placed it on a counter under some shelving. ”A lot more fits in here than it looks like, so no need to conserve space,” Porro declared with a nod towards the shelving. ”I’m not looking to cause any hardship for the hospital, but if it looks like it’s overstocked or something that just doesn’t make sense at the hospital, toss it in.”

"Frequently. Euphie hasn't been doing very well." Finally being honest about the child health now that she wasn't in the vicinity. Porro had seen Euphie during her earliest months when on the ship, perhaps he deserved to know. They left the crew because she became sick, but it had only detiorated drastically since. Space was never her forte anyways.

As she led the way towards the storage, he began asking the questions. "I've never left since the crew dropped us off here. I found a job at the Qeniora Sky-Tavern - a restaurant on that big skyscraper. Andrew Gaul Andrew Gaul visits sometimes, it really isn't all that bad." She told him.

Now a couple of young adults entering a storage closet together was suspicious enough to turn heads and narrow glances - that was if anyone saw, but having checked behind her and so did Porro, she highly doubted. Now in the closet, facing him, she'd noticed that grin on his visage she knew all too well. While she might have had a small crush on him on the ship years ago after leaving the chains of her planet, those frivilous feelings would have faded by now.

"It's really nice to see you again, Porro." She added briefly with a wide smile of her own. "What do you need? This hospital is never really short on supplies." She began rummaging through the shelves, for syringes, medication and anything she saw had becta on it.

There was no way that Porro could hide a frown and sympathetic look at the news that Euphie was ill and had to visit the hospital on many occasions. He might have been seen as the carefree happy go lucky guy in most of his associations, but he had a big heart as well and he remembered Euphie when she couldn’t even walk yet. To know that only a few years later the little girl had spent significant time in the hospital tugged on Porro hard. ”I wish I had the means to help. No kid should go through that. No mother either,” Porro said comfortingly. He almost reached out to take Aurelia’s hand, but there was still a mission and they were still out in view of any passer-by.

”I’m glad some things aren’t all that bad. Now that I know your residence is somewhat stable perhaps I’ll visit more as well,” Porro responded. His words betrayed a bit of jealousy at the mention of Andrew Gaul Andrew Gaul . He wasn’t quite sure why that crept into his thoughts as his interactions with Aurelia had been pretty much innocent, though he could tell that there was a bit of a crush on her part, and he certainly wouldn’t deny that there was an attraction on his. At the time though they had just rescued her from a cult and she was pregnant with Euphie, even Porro wasn’t enough of a player to make a move. Seeing her again, Porro noted that she was just as attractive as before.

”Only half as much as it is to see you,” Porro responded with a wink, wondering if she had grown out of her small crush. It wouldn’t overshadow the mission, but Porro had to admit that now that she had a stable life he was a bit curious what it might be like.
”Emergency supplies mostly,” Porro answered Aurelia’s question. ”I doubt my infirmary will serve much more purpose than to patch up simple wounds and keep someone alive long enough to get them to a real hospital. If you find some tech that looks broken throw it in. I’m sure I can make it work.”

There was a light flush of pink on her cheeks as he winked once again; she could feel him staring as she ransacked the lower shelves and boxes of items. As she tossed a defibrillator she found in his bag a long with some batteries, she would give him a small shove. "You know, I could use a hand with the shelves, you are much taller than me." Porro's height had always been one of the attributes she found attractive about him.

"How long do you plan on staying in Qena?" She asked him. Having been with the Taizas crew, she knew that they never stayed on one place for too long. "If you happen to be here for awhile, I could show you around. Of course, I have work, but we can work around that. " Knowing Porro, he was always seeking out the next adventure. While she didn't want to hinder the progress of this project he seemed to be invested in, it would be nice to catch up with a good old friend.

Porro hesitated just a moment to watch Aurelia start to add things to his bag. He couldn’t help it. He enjoyed looking at attractive women. And the fact that he studied her enough made him notice the blush on her cheeks. Porro was stuck on the fact that a wink had done that to her, when she gave him a nudge and asked for help getting to the higher shelves. He gave a slight teasing huff at the shove before responding, ”I’m sorry. I was stuck in a thought.” Porro moved to start searching the higher storage areas that would have been out of Aurelia’s reach. As he did so, however, he was sure to keep his proximity to the young woman close.

”You know me darling,” Porro hummed out in response to Aurelia’s question. ”I’m never much for strict plans. Like to go with the flow. I could certainly stay long enough to get a guided tour from you.” He collected a box of stims that looked to have been overstocked at this particular room and looked at Aurelia with a smile as he placed them gently in the pack.

”I am sure that I could find a reason to stick around a while,” Porro added. It was true that the crew was on the move a lot. But that was mostly to pick up jobs or avoid the fallout from the last job. But in working on his own ship over the last few months, Porro had found himself out of the hustle and bustle more than usual. It wasn’t something that he would likely do permanently anytime soon, but it was a nice change of pace. ”I’m sure there is a casino or something like that to keep me busy while you’re working. Or I could just work on the ship…”

There was that charm of Porro she couldn't get enough of cast again at her. Granted, it wasn't exclusive; the young man was an all-round flirt. "There is a casino at the Qeniora Tower and Qena is not short of scrap yards." She pointed out, although she wasn't one to gamble. "You aren't going to be a Jawa are you?" She joked lightly, referring to the little scavengers of tattooine.

"Are you just staying on your ship?" She asked. Depending on how mcuh he had done to it, she didn't think it would be very nice to be living on a ship still in-progress. "You could crash at my place for the time being." She offered. Her apartment wasn't large by any means, but there would be enough space to accomodate him.

The datapad on her wrist buzzed, glancing down, she saw the notification from the droid. "I have to head back." She told him. If he were still keen on continuing with his small mission in obtaining supplies, she wouldn't mind.

Porro’s flirtings had numerous targets over the years. And even now he would have a hard time shutting it down if an attractive nurse showed herself. But Aurelia did have a bit more special place with Porro. So while his charm might come off as his normal playboy air, it was a bit more genuine when it came to her. ”Casinos, scrap yards and a pretty lady you’re putting together quite the tourist brochure for a bit of a stay on Qena darling,” Porro responded with a chuckle. ”I’d be the tallest, best looking Jawa in the galaxy that’s for sure. Not sure I’d ever be able to pull off that clothing choice though.” he laughed again and winked. ”Seriously, those little buggers snatch up anything laying around they might be able to resell. I’m looking for specific things…”

When Aurelia questioned whether he would really stay on his ship, Porro wondered if she was questioning what kinda shape it was in. True it was barely hyperspace ready, but his bunk was quite comfortable if he needed to stay there for a bit. When she followed the question with an offer to stay with her, Porro couldn’t hold back a surprised look and a bit of a blush. ”Well. My quarters wouldn’t be the worst place I’ve ever slept if I had to stay on the ship. But if you’re sure that I won’t be in the way. You, Euphie and the droid need your space…”

At the vibrations of Aurelia’s data pad Porro scooped up a few more things, knowing that it was a good possibility that the buzz meant something had come up with Euphie. He placed the last of his loot into the bag and looked around inside the bag with a hum. ”I’ll escort you if you would like. This room seems pretty well picked over for what they can spare. Perhaps I can find another source of loot near Euphie’s room and we can meet up on the way out? I don’t want to intrude on personal stuff…”

With a gentle smile on her lips, Aurelia shook her head. "Not at all, darling. MIU83 goes on stand-by for the night and doesn't take up much space. Besides, I could use someone else watching over Euphera." She admitted, using that little endearment Porro favored on her, adding a wink of her own, two could play that game.

"I don't mind if you joined me with Euphie - its up to you." She said, exiting the storeroom, walking briskly and navigating their way back towards Euphie's room.

Doctor Faezai was already taking the girl's vitals when they entered. The Doctor turned around on her swivel chair. "Hello, Ms Xonavi, and who might this be?" She asked.

Aurelia quickly dismissed Porro being a nuisance in his presence in her apartment. But Porro was more focused on her use of his term of endearment. He had never had the tables turned on him like this. With his affection for Aurelia already on firm ground, calling him “darling” was a bit of a rush. The thought of being a babysitter was a new suggestion for Porro. Most people thought he was too selfish and/or immature for such a responsibility. ”I would be happy to look after her for you. And we can take time to catch up, when you’re not working or showing me around.”

He was glad that Aurelia allowed him to follow back to Euphera’s room. Porro really wanted to catch up with Aurelia, and they were older now, maybe some of that old attraction could become something more now. And if he was to go back to his mission, more than likely he’d have a hard time finding her again. ”Right behind you, darling,” Porro responded, closing up the bag with the pilfered supplies and leaving right behind Aurelia to walk by her side back to her daughter’s room.

Porro slowed as they entered the girl’s room and the doctor was already there. How should they respond to the question of why Aurelia was gone and who he was? ”Um. Just an old friend of the family. Just arrived in the system, wasn’t sure where to go to wait. So Aurelia said to meet her here.”

At the Doctor's question, she paused for a moment, giving Porro a glance as she thought about an answer. She wasn't the best at lying. Thankfully she didn't have to think too much as the young man came up with one fairly quickly. "Yes, this is Porro." She gave a brief nod in agreement. "Are you alright with him here?" The Doctor asked respectfully. Once again, she glanced back at Porro before nodding. "I wouldn't take too much of your time." The Doctor would gesture to the seat which Aurelia then took. It wasn't just Euphera that would be accessing, but her health too.

Palm extended, the doctor pricked her index finger with a monitor tool to collect a small sample of her blood for analysis. "As usual, your cell count is low. And you are fairly dehydrated. I understand that Euphera's requirements are increasing, however, I also worry about the stress you are putting your body through in trying to meet them." The Doctor stated. Aurelia sighed. Euphera was quite the peculiar child, with her skin in a purplish tint, reddish pink eyes and little horns on her head, it was clear to most on what she was.

"I wouldn't worry too much. MIU83, would not take any blood if my levels were too low." She explained, brushing the doctor's concerns away. It was frustrating at the least and forced her to find other sources to feed Euphera, but it was necessary to ensure her own well-being. "Well then, Euphera seems to be adapting well to her new parts. Has she been getting more fits lately?" Faezai asked, to which Aurelia shook her head. "That's good to know." The doctor would jot something on her list.

Then glancing at Porro, standing in the corner, "Perhaps your friend here might want to chip in some blood for your daughter, it might lift a bit of the burden off your body." The lady would remark.

Aurelia’s pause at the doctor’s question made Porro smile. He himself wasn’t great at outright lies. He was more the subtle bluffer. That he was quite good at. Sometimes embellishment was needed, but his philosophy was generally to keep as close to the truth as possible. Omissions were often helpful. The old “friend of the family” line worked in most situations. It was too vague to cause outright concern in most cases and in this one it happened to be the truth. That this wasn’t an organized visit was a bit sneaky, but the doctor would never know.

There was to be some sort of discussion involving Euphie’s wellness and the doctor wanted to be sure it was approved for Porro’s ears. If he was honest Porro would have been just as happy playing with Euphera instead of in the middle of serious health talk, he was even less prepared when the doctor pricked Aurelia’s finger for tests. Porro watched, a bit uncomfortable, but he was more than happy to be there for whatever support he could offer. The doctor gave a synopsis of the test's findings, which didn’t sound particularly good to Porro. He tilted his head, looking at Aurelia with a bit of concern. The smuggler remained quiet through the doctor’s statement. He didn’t want his questions to give away that he didn’t have much knowledge of the situation. Though he would be sure to ask those questions as soon as he had a chance with Aurelia.

The mention of taking blood was another shock. Porro could tell that Euphera was not of the same genetics that he was. That made him wonder if Aurelia was, though that didn’t matter he wasn’t xenophobic in the least. Was it Euphie’s nature that required blood? Or was it her illness? The mention of new parts was more settling and familiar to Porro. He did after all have a cybernetic hand and forearm himself. Adapting to mechanical limbs was something he could certainly help with if necessary. Fits…were another question that would certainly come up if Porro was to stay around for a bit, but for now it seemed the news was good on that front, so he would let that one rest, still a bit stuck on the blood question.

When the doctor suggested that he might be able to help out with the blood, Porro noticeably paled. ”I’ve no fear of needles,” Porro stated trying to seem strong, and hoping that was in fact the method of blood extraction. ”I think that option is something that will be up to Aurelia to ask,” he gave a charming smile to the doctor hoping that he didn’t seem too frightened by the suggestion.

”Is that all for the visit doctor? I don’t want to rush things in the slightest, but I am looking forward to seeing the sights. My first time on Qena after all.”

While she could feel his look on concern on her, she would instead focus on what the doctor had to say. Aurelia wouldn't pressure a friend to do something they weren't comfortable with and by the looks of it, Porro didn't seem very thrilled with the idea proposed by the doctor. Euphera was her responsibility, after all.

The doctor didn't keep them any longer with the hospital as busy as it was. Aurelia knew that Porro would have questions - who wouldn't? However, Euphera was evidently tired as she let out a big yawn. "Lets get you home and take a nice nap." She chuckled, taking Euphera's hand as they walked to the driveyard where she'd parked. It seemed Porro wasn't keen on continuing his little mission of getting more supplies as he followed them out.

The droid made sure Euphera was all strapped up. Aurelia got into the driver's seat, she waited for Porro to get in before taking off. "Porro will be staying with us for a while okay, Euphie?" She told the child, who was already halfway dozing off.

It was a bit of silence as they drove, Aurelia made sure Euphera had fallen asleep from her rearview mirror before breaking that silence. "You should have seen yourself. 'I've got no fear of needles' Right, that was totally believable, Porro." She mimicked his voice in a slightly higher pitched tone as she poked fun at him, knowing he would have questions.
