Senator Eboi Seth commissioned the creation of the Squall Wing after The Common Soldier Corps Bill passed. Even though a Starfighter contradicted his pacifist views, Eboi was encouraged to go through with it by his military advisors especially in light of the attacks on the Free Alliance Coalition in which Eboi was a part of. Construction began in secret in the Brionelle Memorial Military Academy where it was made on a modest budget due to Eboi's reluctance into investing too much in the military. The Squall Wing was named after The Squall: A Rabbit native to Chandrila. To compensate for its light armor and minimal, military scientists decided to incorporate some experimental features such as a weapon overcharge system as well as an advanced targeting computer system created by the top Cadets in the Military Academy. As such the Squall Wing is a fast and maneuverable Starfighter with the firepower to destroy as many enemy starfighters as possible.
