Special Operation Combative Programs

Alright, so I wanna set up a training thread, whether it be a one on one or a big group. So basically what I wanna do is set up a standardized hand to hand combat style for the Protectorate, both ODF and OP. I want to base them of the US Army two premier combative programs. The SOCP (Special Operations Combative Program) is designed for use by US Army Special Forces and has been adopted by other branches and militaries as well. It focuses instead of on martial arts skills, it focuses on real situations and is task specific. It is designed to teach soldiers to fight with kit and weaponry and teaches them weapon transition and retention. Basically the story would be simple, Noah, a 13 year commando veteran from the Republic was taught this type of hand-to-hand fighting and wants to pass it on to the Pyre and the ODF.

Anyway, I like this idea, agents ([member="Jenna Templar"], [member="Erela Annan"], [member="Telgath"], [member="Muuri Lethar"]) I recommend you take the course as it may be useful during your service, same goes to you [member="Edston Firestone"].


Also, [member="Delila Castillon"] was trained at least partially in the Bladedancer combat, she could also add in to it by showing off something fancy if she feels up for it.

Yeah you gave us quick training in the dropship, Racket was there and some Togorian fellow I believe, and I think that Deathwatch guy that defected when we captured him on Mustafar during that raid by Ewoks on them.

I know Racket was there for sure because they started arguing or something and I threatened to show the logs to Cira if they won't settle down, that led to a bit of mess and conversation in pm's.

The thread really didn't went anywhere once we landed. I think it may have been Bluehawks territory at that point?

Yeah he was the most vocal as their leader, apparently the guy we captured was named Mereel Vaun we were on a mission with Jorus Merril in thread Taking a Home which was their dominion of Mustafar, when Ewoks started wrecking their capital ship we took the survivors onto his ship and that's when Mereel defected.

I don't have the follow up to it on Endor where I claim you gave me that training listed in my thread history, probably because I just forgot about it when making it or I was filling up that portion after the wipe, but I remember it too clearly for it to just be me going crazy and remembering things that didn't happen
