- Combat Function: Comprised mostly augmented Purge Troopers, the Immortals are an elite unit who serve under Admiral Velran Kilran and his Imperial Knights as bodyguards or ground units to support the ground troops in battle through guerilla warfare or fighting in the frontlines led by their respective Imperial Knight. Furthermore, the Immortals would also go on black op missions to hunt down important targets such as Jedi or nobles or to quell riots by assassinating high ranking officials. These missions are usually unofficial and are conducted to where Kilran can have plausible deniability. Thanks to their augmentations, Immortals are more durable capable of taking a serious beating and still remain standing, possess enhanced perception and speed, and can lift two times their own body weight. This gives them an edge in combat where a single unit can take on multiple people and win.
- Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): N/A
- THEY DO WHAT THEY'RE TOLD!: The Immortals are fanatically loyal to Kilran and will fight to the death for him.
- Elite Troopers: Trained and modified to be the best, the Immortals are among some of the best the Empire has at its disposal. No enemy is considered too tough for them.
- Trained in all forms of combat: The Immortals can adapt into any role that is given to them be it demolition, snipers, or even Jedi Hunters. One can expect competency when an Immortal takes charge.
- Better than you: After undergoing intense training, the Immortals are then given augmentations to enhance their already prodigious capabilities. As mentioned above, Immortals outclass the common soldier in every way.
- If only there were more of them: Immortals are a small unit and while they can serve in the front lines, it's best that they have support lest they get massively outnumbered.
- Psychological tire fire: The augmentations have made the Immortals more aggressive which can lead to fights breaking out in the mess halls. A sedative shot will calm them down as well as Force suggestion from the Imperial Knights during combat.
What good is an Admiral if they don't have an elite ground unit that inspires FEAR?! That was one of the first things Velran Kilran had thought of aside from his Imperial fleet. During the Stygan Campaign, Velran wanted to create a unit that would be above all loyal to him while conducting high risk missions. At this time, Velran was also enamored with the idea of a super soldier having worked with a scientist who would sell Kilran with the idea. After being promoted to Moff, Velran immediately got to work on the Immortal project where Velran envisioned a soldier that can never die and will never retreat. Though, the first recruits succumbed to insanity after a few tries, Velran eventually managed to create the perfect soldier. Velran then handpicked his Imperial Knights that will personally lead them into battle where their fearsome reputation will grow. The Immortals are feared among their enemies with common reactions seeing them made them feel uneasy. Among the Imperials: The Immortals are viewed with awe due to their reputation of being ruthless killing machines on the battlefield as well as their intimidating presence. The goal of the Immortals is crush the enemies of the New Imperial Order and show the NIO military what a model soldier looks like while also expanding Velran Kilran's galaxy wide ego.
