Spaceport THX1138 as it stood in 1 BBY (not much different in Chaos era)

Name: Spaceport THX1138

Classification: Tourism/merchant

Location: Fath system, in orbit over JanFathal, Fath sector (K-6)

Affiliation: One Sith

Population: 13,000

Defenses: Deflector shields, point-defense ion cannons

Points of Interest: The X Wing is the terminal from which Star Tours operate, with the North, South and Y Wings being other terminals from which other spacelines operate flights from and to the Earth system, with the Central Hall containing all manners of restaurants, exchange offices, check-in counters and baggage claim carousels, duty-free merchandise shops and the A Wing containing all sorts of transportation services to the surface.

Description: Spaceport THX1138 is best described as a station with a hub-and-spoke structure, with four spokes being terminals from which spacelines operate and one being for ground transportation. Each of the spaceline terminals had central areas capable of servicing ships up to CR90-size, alongside the many docking bays, called gates by the administration, that were used for light freighters. Rumor has it that the current incarnation of Star Tours purchased Pullmans so that they could fit inside the old gates of the X Wing, whereas wider light freighters would not.

History: The station was opened in orbit in 2 BBY, after numerous complaints filed by the denizens of the surface. While the station existed for centuries, it is most famous for a raid personally led by Darth Vader in 1 BBY on Star Tours Flight 1401, in a failed attempt to capture a Rebel spy. Conflicting accounts exist of the raid and its outcome: roughly half of these accounts claim that Vader personally entered the X Wing with a large contingent of stormtroopers, as well as four TIE fighters, while other accounts claim that a probot scanned the ship shortly after departure, while Vader remained onboard the Devastator to oversee the deployment of TIE fighters by Death Squadron. But all accounts agree that the flight carried a Rebel spy to its destination, without Star Tours even knowing that there was a Rebel spy onboard until the pre-flight checks were initiated.

Nevertheless, the station remained largely unaffected by the events affecting the galaxy at large in the centuries to follow, even though the fortunes of its tenants and residents waxed and waned, although by 842 ABY, it was somewhat under-utilized. After the original Star Tours went out of business by late 4 ABY, the new Star Tours was awarded the rights to use the X Wing.

Intent: To provide a base from which Star Tours operates in the northwest corner of the Outer Rim (just like its canonical incarnation)

Canon location or no, you're going to have to change this. Earth may exist in some very, very fringe canon stuff (like Star Tours) but it doesn't exist here in the Chaos galaxy.

Just change the system name and we'll be fine.

The Fath system is in the same hex, just a different system (and the station orbits JanFathal)
