LOA So long and thanks for all the threads

Hello, I am also taking an indefinite leave of absence lol. After some long discussions, I've come to accept that Chaos no longer has anything to offer me. And likewise, that I no longer after anything to offer Chaos. I was sticking around exclusively to write our Alderaan storyline, and even from the get-go I figured there was a chance I make this plot my grand finale on Chaos, but it's at a point now where I just don't see any salvaging the original intent, or at least not any worth in trying to do so.

That said, Chaos has been a six-year journey for me, and for all its ups and downs I would not trade it. I have (sort of) become a better writer, I have dedicated so much creative energy, and I have made some great connections over my time here. And to be a copycat, I would also like to use this as an opportunity to pay homage to some of those connections, even those that are no longer here themselves.

Shout out to Raziel , Kyra Perl , and Ura Iolar , for being the first folks to write with me. If you hadn't made the repeated efforts to engage with and include me during those early months, I probably never would have stuck around. Thanks for being my first and realest paddie pack.

Shout out to Valery Noble , for helping me rediscover my muse after a long absence. You are a machine, and helped so many other writers find their footing on Chaos throughout your time here. Thank you.

Shout out to that time I got Member of the Month back in 2022, but it was also the same month they stopped updating the MOTM archive so I never got my picture in there. No I don't have a hangup about it (Thanks for picking me tho Valiens Nantaris + the other admins, and more importantly thanks for keeping this place up and running).

Thank you Alicio Organa , for being the best romantic interest anyone could hope to write with. Amani and Alicio are such a fitting power couple, and it was all built up naturally. There were times where our stories were the only reason I was writing on here.

And Salamander , you said it better than I ever could have in your own post. You know the feeling is mutual, and all of Chaos would've been worth it just for that.

And more broadly, thank you to Corazona von Ascania , Jasper Kai'el , Connel Vanagor , Jonyna Si , Deadcurze , Maeve Linahan , Mathieu Brion , Surea , and so many others that I'm probably forgetting cause there's a lot. You are all great writers, and have kept me coming back for years.

I suppose it would be prudent to sign off with a "never say never". I left the fate of the Organas ambiguous in my article, and Chaos is nothing if not a revolving door of people saying they're definitely gonna leave, only to come back later. But I do intend to leave Chaos behind, probably for good.

Never say never, though.
