  • Combat Function: In its natural form it is a strong and agile combatant, more fragile than many of its kin due to being feathered, it still has thick hide and can hold its own in melee combat using its claws and sharp teeth.
  • Combat Capability:
    • Freezing breath weapon - over a hundred degrees below the freezing point of water. Can reach out to around 30 metres in a narrow cone and has similar effects to cryo weaponry. The breath weapon is lost when not in draconic form.

    • Thick hide

    • Wing feathers can be shed to aid escape if trapped
  • Force Abilities:
    • Telepathy
    • Metamorphosis
      • It can use the force to change its physical form into a very limited number of shapes, in order to copy the creature accurately it must have at some point consumed it, the more often they consume the creature, the more accurately it can be replicated.
      • Force is used to change shapes, not maintain them so can find itself trapped in a form if cut of from the form
      • Form typically has a draconine flair to it, regardless of the target species
      • Snøvinge has a particular affinity to canine, lupine and vulpine forms and rarely uses any others. He typically sticks to a single non-dragon form to prevent confusion amongst his allies.

    • Flight - around 300km/h
  • Locomotion: Quadrupedal or flight

  • Draconic Advantages: Although not as tough as some of its larger and more heavily armoured brothers and sisters, it is still a dragon, a strong and resilient creature that can shrug of minor damage and hold its own in a fight.
  • Metamorphosis: Can use the force to change his body shape and size into a different form, allowing him to go unnoticed in many situations.
  • Flight: Fast and agile, the ability to fly makes this a very flexible and effective mount.

  • Feathers, not scales: This creature is feathers and not scaled unlike many dragons, making it more vulnerable than many of its brethren and making it rely more heavily on its active defences such as its agility and the force.
  • Limited Metamorphosis: The list if creatures that the creature can use this to replicate is limited by what it has consumed, and it would likely take multiple consumptions to learn a form to a level the dragon is comfortable with.
  • Force Supression: Like all force users, force supression is a problem. It is more pronounced for Snøvinge than other dragons as it has less physical prowess. He also cannot change shape when disconnected from force so may mind himself trapped in a form that is unsuitable for the situation if cut off.

Mairéad met Snøvinge on a cold mountainous pass at Ruug Keldab during her Verd'goten. Cold and alone, Mairéad was eating from the carcass of a fallen herbivore when the large winged creature appeared above her, landing and bearing its wings to claim the meal for itself. The force told Mairéad to remain calm and present herself to the creature, it scented her, detecting both her smell and her force presence and found her to be a kindred soul, with a presence wrapped in the cold like himself. The paired shared the carcass in silence, watching each other warily for nearly an hour.

This meal introduced them but the fight against the subsequent scavenging hounds bonded them. A dozen large wolves had caught wind of the fresh meat and attacked furiously, they did not have the sapience to share in the same way as the witch and the dragon. The dragon watched the mandalorian fight with tenacity and was impressed. In the aftermath and with Mairéad injured, he agreed to fly her back to her home, for the first time leaving the sanctity of Ruug Kelbab.

Since they met, the pair are continuing to bond and train together amongst other dragon riders of the House Solus, and he flies down from the mountains with excitement to greet Mairéad whenever she returns to Vanquo. She intends on taking him from Vanquo once his training is complete and once her own home life is stabilised. To aid this, the shape changing dragon has picked a much smaller vulpine form to join with Mairéad and is happy to act as her pet to keep up appearances off world provided Mairéad looks after him well.
